iPad ordering was impressive. Food came out pretty quickly. I ordered the Hawaiian burger which was delicious. Being able to modify your burger from your table was convenient. Sweet chili wings were okay, nothing special. For dessert, I had the chocolate ice cream with chocolate cookie and brownie. It was alright. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lively and the staff were all friendly.

I was unhappy with stacked, the food was OK enough but it’s hard to get service when you’re using an IPad. The servers don’t really come to check on you at all and they never cleared my plates when they brought us our dessert so the table is completely cluttered with mess while we were trying to eat. I most likely will not go there again.

I was excited to try this place out. You can customize your order, which sounds great, but somehow they still messed up my order and put the wrong ingredients. I ordered a salad. Wrong type of lettuce and the wrong type of meat. No compensation offered by the waiter due to the messed up order.

Came here hungry waiting to get some food and craft beer. Derek seated us quickly and gave us great beer recommendations. If you don’t know what to order for your beer just ask Derek and he will take care of the rest. Food and service was great as always. FYI: If you don’t know how to place an order with an iPad just ask your server for service no reason to give lower stars for incompetence.

I love technology! Here, you order your food through a computer screen. Sure, it seems a bit impersonal, but people are all around you, so make sure you smile and say«hi» to whoever seems receptive to human contact. The workers specifically are very friendly & helpful. They will answer any questions you have on how their system works. And don’t worry, it’s not terribly complicated. Now, getting all that out of the way, how was the food? Well, it was good! The burgers are made just the way you want it with fresh ingredients. My youngest one opted for a Mac & Cheese which he custom-built complete with a fried egg on top(it’s his creation, don’t judge) & my first-born also chose to have a fried egg on his burger. Apparently, both my boys like fried egg. I enjoyed the string onion rings. It had just the right kind of «sweetness». The prices are reasonable too. We’ll be back!

If you have skipped out on even considering this place based on the current 3.5-star average rating, you made a pretty bad move. Unless I’m missing something horribly wrong, people aren’t giving this place much credit at all. For the most part, this is a common restaurant chain that is fairly big, seats many, has a décor that is inviting and trendy, offers a full bar with a variety of your well-known Western eats, freedom to customize your own pizza(or anything, for that matter), and is located in/around a mall/shopping center like other locations. The charm about this place is that orders are place directly into the iPad on every table, which obviously cues the servers and staff to prepare your order and bring it to you. So, if your soul has been surrendered to your mobile device and you no longer have any capability to interact with other fellow human beings, you’ll totally feel at home here. The more recent time I went there, I had a delicious hearty pastrami pizza. It was very hearty. I can’t believe I ate the entire pizza myself. Prices are average to slightly above average. They list the prices on the ipad only and not on the menu they hand you. I suppose if they had the prices on the menus, 1) the Ipads wouldn’t be needed, which is bad because that’s the whole point of this place, 2) they’d constantly have to change them when prices change. That leads me to give you fair… WARNING: If you aren’t tech-saavy, you will probably have a nightmare of a time. I’ve seen a few reviews of people give this place 1-star reviews solely based on their inability to use an iPad. And I could sorta understand if a person has never had any exposure(not even a fingerprint), to specific forms of modern technology, they could get so frustrated that they take it out on the whole restaurant. What does it say about a person who give a restaurant a 1-star review without even taking one bite? Whatever it is, Stacked is here to stay, suckaaaaaa! You can disagree with the concept, just like how you can easily disagree with technology. But the fact is, you can’t uninvent technology. And if this restaurant somehow miraculously does not survive, it won’t be because of the concept. And believe me, I’ll contact you and commend you for your prophecy, Alice C. from 1÷24÷2016.

Concept-driven restaurant that fails. My husband wanted to come here because of the iPad ordering system. We sat down and our waitress(young petite girl with long straight hair) approached. Really unfriendly, didn’t greet or even look at anyone but my husband. My husband asked about the iPad and without explanation, the waitress said very coldly, «you can order through me.» Well, what if we don’t want to interact with you?!? She then glared at everyone as if we should have been ready to order after having been seated for approximately 2 minutes. As everyone was hungry, we took a look at the menus. NOPRICES. Um, no. Then, when we tried to go the iPad route again, we realized that we had to swipe a credit card to even get started. Talk about some serious privacy concerns, not to mention possible data hacks. We gave up and left, as the waitress did not come back for a long time. Awful concept, awful service, and the good looked mediocre at best. The restaurant was 75% empty when we went to a weekend lunch. I guess word gets around.

I like the idea of not needing to wait for a waiter, and the freedom to customize my order and send it on my own time. I always like to add an egg to my burgers and I especially like the garlic aioli. The food is good, and some servers are great. One thing to beware of, and this has happened often to us, our shakes usually come out incorrect. My wife orders a Mocha Almond Fudge and usually some type of peanut butter shake is given to her. I’m so glad my wife isn’t allergic to peanuts or peanut butter, or else we’d be in trouble. So be careful w ordering shakes, or just let your servers know if you have a peanut allergy, and hopefully they will be more careful.

I loved everything about this place. The total experience was great. The service and food was delicious. Very easy to use iPad at the table. My 88 year old Grandfather was speechless. He cant believe what technology has come to. Our group has several different dishes and they were all great!

We went here with a group of 9 on a Saturday afternoon. It only took a couple minutes to get seated, which was nice. After we went through ordering for 9 people on the Ipad, we waited. After a few minutes half the food came, and then we waited, and waited some more. Finally I went and asked how much longer it would be. The food arrived soon after. Along with an apologetic manager. It was nice that he came over to apologize, he also gave the girls 3 free deserts. Even without the free deserts, the food was worth the wait. I had the ghost pepper burger, and added jalapeño bacon. It was not as hot as I expected, but the flavor balance was right on point. The meat was cooked just the way I liked it. My wife had a sandwich. I won love to tell you more about it, but I can’t remember what it was called. It had that awesome bread though. Hard on the outside soft on the inside. It was most likely some type of BBQ pork. She had onion rings and I had gluten free fries. They tasted just like regular fries also. The girls had typical food. Pizzas and chicken tenders. No complaints. The cheese fries looked great as well. I love going to this place, and am looking forward to going back.

Let me tell you about STACKED. There is no excuse as to why your food would come to your table not tasting at its best. If so, you messed up! I mean, if you don’t like what’s on the menu… LITERALLY, you can BUILDYOUROWNFOOD so there aren’t any complaints whatsoever. I suggest you take your time on the iPad and seriously figure out what you want on your plate. I’ve taken 15 – 20 minutes just building my own salad! Heck… they could be deconstructed as in everything on the side! And just put everything together yourself once it’s on the table. Tonight, I was disappointed to find out that they’re out of TOMATOBISQUE! I came in craving just that and grilled cheese but they failed me. Sad. Nonetheless, my food was exceptional and service was decent. It’s a Thursday night and I knew it’d be packed. I took another star off because no one checked up on us after the food got to our table. I guess STACKED waiters need a bit more training on that note.

I enjoy the concept. I «created» my own burger but couldn’t tell you what I put in it since I usually tend to change it up every time I go but I can say that it was good enough not to change my opinion of the place. In addition to the burger I also ordered fries which were as good as you’d expect but elevated by the various sauces you can choose from I always go with chipotle ketchup and garlic aioli. The reason for the missing star is the server didn’t come often enough and I found myself having to drink from a bottle of water I happened to have. I’d still return though.

I’ve been here several times and have had awesome meals in the past but my most recent visit fell short in many ways. I checked-in through as I always do and an offer popped up on appetizers. I informed the server when he delivered my drinks. He said it was not an issue and they would honor it. When I checked the bill, it was at the regular price. He fixed it when I brought it to his attention but it’s those little details that make a huge difference. The Habanero wings were amazing and quite large. A lot of flavor for $ 5 with the offer. The Double Stacked I order was underwhelming because I expected two beef patties but in fact, you only get a 1⁄3 pound patty instead of the normal ¼ pound patty. It would of been nice to see those two juicy patties but oh well. The best part was the Jalapeño Bacon I ordered extra. My girlfrined got the Ghost Pepper Cheeseburger which was not spicy at all. A huge let down there. The Ghost Pepper is mixed in to the cheese but I didn’t feel any heat from the«second hottest pepper in the world.» My biggest issue was with the large order of cold fries. I sent them back after 3 bites. The server was quick to return with a fresh batch but they should keep an eye on that. It’s an inconvenience to everyone when they don’t get it right the first time. They usually merit 4−41÷2 stars but all these little things brought them down for now. I will be back however because their food is typically on point and delicious.

Pretty good burgers here. The ability to build your own burger while using an iPad is awesome enough in itself. I love the variety of every burger possible and also enjoy their shakes. The stacked burgers are fancy and are very filling with very little room left over for dessert. So enjoy yourself at this location.

Its seems like this place gets crowded because of the size of the restaurant, luckily we went during the week and didn’t wait long. I have never been so confused, they have so many options to chose from and a wide variety of selection. I was craving the pizza so I was recommended the macaroni pizza, it was a bit salty for me. Also tried the burger with all kinds of stuff inside. If I recall correctly there some kinda of ipad where you order it yourself and someone brings it out for you. I don’t know how to really feel about that since we made little encounters with staff. So i guess its safe to safe that the staff was quick. Anyway, you have to experience this on your own since its«food well built» make sure to check out my instagram page @foodgurula

50% off appetizer with Unilocal Check In! Stacked is party of the behemoth Del Amo mall in Torrance. It’s located outside by PF Chang’s and Vegas Buffet. It’s artfully decorated with high ceilings and spacious seating arrangements. There are iPads on each table. I didn’t like that I had to swipe a credit card to get started. The ordering process was innovative. The staff member walked us through and came to check on us often. The service was fast. The Habanero wings were nothing memorable. The burger was good, but the avocado didn’t appear fresh. Overall, it was a cool experience. But I didn’t think it was remarkable.

Great customer service here and you make/customize your orders on your table’s iPad! We asked what they’re known for and our waitress said they’re known for your own customizable orders. Besides that she said the burgers and the mac and cheese are amazing. I’d have to agree on the mac and cheese. I ordered the chicken pesto mac and it was delicious. Super cheesy with a lot of flavor. Also ordered a spinach artichoke dip which was pretty tasty. The only thing I didn’t like about Stacked is the food is a bit greasy. The chips for our dip was glistening with oil, some oil puddles on the artichoke dip and the mac and cheese was a bit heavy. Food was tasty just a little too greasy for my liking. The iPad is always on and you can add items or delete really easily. Also when you’re finished eating you can easily pay for your meal without having to flag down your server, super convenient.

Always a good time at STACKED. I tried the Macaroni and Cheese Pizza with Veggies and on Gluten Free Crust. Awesome! Service and timing was a bit off tonight from past visits. Maybe new staff? At any rate they tried and were apologetic. I still luv them

Obviously perfect place to have dinner before catching a movie at the AMC. They use an ipad system for ordering. You can customize a lot and it’s a fun part of the experience. Food is good! Portions are generous. We shared a salad, which was rich in toppings. We tried the flying pigs as an appetizer. Kinda like pork wings. They fell off the bone. Very tasty, will order again. Hubby tried one of the Mac & cheeses. It was good. Rich in flavor, couldn’t finish the big portion. We sat at the bar and let me tell you. The two bartenders worked their butts off. Very cordial and attentive. Now that I’m writing this, I should come more often :)
