Great meal at the Torrance location, we had prime rib which was cooked perfect and very tender meat. Feel sorry for Vegetarians that miss this great dish. Also had delicious au gratin potato. Excellent service got us out in time to make movie across street.

Went here for my mom’s bday recently, it;s always a good time here and Black Angus is always good, the portions are getting a bit smaller than I remember though and there was a couple of errors in our order. Also, their bartender should really try and add a bit more liquor in those mojitos! The desserts are probably the best part and where they aren’t skimping… yet…we had the giant cookie a la mode and the chocolate lava cake… it’s very rich… so bring some milk! haha… Oh and I almost forgot, I have to shout out our server Angelica who was very helpful and attentive the entire night and we were a party of 9 so it was challenging she handled it well.

Food wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. The steak was kinda dry, the mashed potatoes weren’t creamy enough, and the sweet potato fries were pretty dissapointing. But a good price overall.

My girls and I arrived on a Saturday night and it was really packed. But, we called in reservations and waited only a few minutes for a table. The food was tasty as usual(steaks and lobster). But I wanted to update my review because our server was awesome! Her name is Thania P. She checked on us often and she was very pleasant. When I return I to be seated in her section again. My friends and I left full and happy.

My fiancé and I have been coming here probly every other week for the past 5 years. We decided to make a reservation for 6 and at the time of reservation I told them we are bigger people that love to get our camp fire feasts on. LOL When we were squeezed into a small booth we asked for a larger one and they moved us to the same size one just a few booths away. Hahaha Luckily I have a sense of humor and like this place so much we went to the Manager Dean and he politely accommodated us by putting 6 of us in a large table. Thank you Dean, we appreciate you starting our new years off right. HINT: GETTHEBLACKENEDRIBEYE!

Solid steakhouse with a large menu and friendly staff. I’ve been here a few times with groups and have always enjoyed the food; the Prime Rib is excellent, the desserts are delicious, and the atmosphere is nice. That being said, while service is friendly, it can sometimes be slow. On my last visit the food wasn’t very hot, but because of a tight schedule we couldn’t ask for it to be redone. Visiting outside of peak hours might fix this issue!

Had the feast for two here and everything was on point. Started out with the loaded potato skins and they were perfect. Next was the Caesar salad and the steak soup which was delicious. I had a sirloin and my friend had the prime rib and both were cooked to perfection, I also loved the mashed potatoes. For dessert the chocolate torte was decadent and the perfect ending to the meal. Our server Christian was awesome, he got everything to our table right on time and provided excellent service. Very positive experience here.

I luuuuhhhhv me some beef! And so does the Hubs. so we’re always on the Beef Mish when it comes to ‘where we gonna eat?’. We end up here. We love that they have the Dinner for Two specials(coupon required) that come with everything from appetizers to dessert for both of us. And the Lunch specials too! That helps us to enjoy our favorite, PRIMERIB, often at a price that won’t break the bank. Check your weekly mailer inserts for the coupons. I love beef. did I mention that? The prime rib is delish and I can go on and on about how juicy and perfectly fatty it was… im sure you get the picture. There was only one instance that I had a dessert that was horrible. Can’t remember now what it was, but I do recall that it seemed like it was supposed to be warm when served but it was kinda cold/frozen in the middle and tasted like freezer burn. Being from a restaurant family, I get that those beautiful desserts are not made on site on a daily basis, so I just mentioned I wasn’t satisfied with it and the server brought the chocolate chip cookie pie with vanilla ice cream. which never disappoints. :) The ambiance is great, booths are designed to keep noise to a minimum and within our own party. Besides. its quite romantic :-). The staff is always accommodating and courteous. Parking is great! Lot’s of handicapped parking available, too.

Always like coming here. The service is good, the food is good, and the draft beer selection is great! Usually only come here with the coupons you get in the mail. I recommend keeping your eye out for the vampire feast coupon. Serves 2. You choose a side for each, entrée for each, and a desert to share for $ 40. It’s a good deal for the amount of food you get. Wait times usually aren’t bad here at all on the weekends. Don’t hesitate to try them out!

Took the mothers here for a early Thanksgiving dinner. Sorry I’m a Chicago Bears fan and the plays on Thanksgiving. Lol! We got there around 5pm so the wait for the table wasn’t too long but the parking sucks because it shares the lot with the mall and soon to be Christmas tree lot. The service is always friendly and they make sure your meat is cooked the way you want it. The tables in the booth move so it’s big man friendly. They almost always have coupons in the Sunday newspaper so if your on a budget keep your eyes open. This place starts to get packed starting around 7pm on the weekends so if you don’t want to be waiting outside in the cold you might want to call in and make a reservation.

I got to say this was an interesting night lol. We go there and it was full but we manage to wait just fine. Having some IPA beer was awesome something new for me. Love my plate I really have a good time here I come for the lobster and veggies. Nachos are a must have.

The lunch started out a little rocky and we were not sure if our lunch was going to be a bad experience. But it was saved by Pam the manger and our server Kory. Thank you guys for saving the day. It was a pleasure because of you two. And the food was delicious as usual.

My bf raved about the prices to the floor. Black Angus has highly competitive lunch prices. But we learned that it only offers dinner prices on Sundays. It was a huge disappointment as I consider Black Angus to be a second/third tier steak house that I would be reluctant to spend $$. I ordered a sampler for $ 14.50. Bf ordered the steak, which was just okay. I may try Black Angus again for lunch, but I will not be returning for its dinner prices.

Not bad for a chain steakhouse! Being Korean, I consider myself a huge meat-lover. Thus, I enjoy a nice American steak once in a while. I love all the deals at Black Angus, especially the steak and sea ones as they have great portions of lobster/shrimp along with the meat. The filet mignon is very popular here, but my favorite dish is the New York Steak. They are very generous in the portions of the New York Steak as it’s not priced by size, as the filet mignon is. I recommend the mash potatoes as a side with any of the dishes as the red skin mashed potatoes are amazing, having a rich buttery flavor. The honey bread they give is rather addicting and always warm, so make sure to get a good fill of it! Service is great here as the servers are always very friendly and outgoing. Since the restaurant is so big, it’s great for big parties as well! And, lovely hunting décor as always. A great place if you’re craving a steak and not wanting to go far! But as a chain, there aren’t any factors that create this an «amazing» place. 27⁄100

Really like the atmosphere! A bit expensive for the quality & quantity of food. Service a bit slow even during a non-busy time. The Wheelhouse Sampler Appetizer: good buffalo wings and shrimp — potato skins a little overdone — zucchini a little crisp with a very thin slice of zucchini. Would have been better if the platter was hot when served. The prime rib was ok — ordered blood rare — a bit overdone. The loaded potato wan’t exactly«loaded» — with a sprinkle of chess & bacon. The chocolate cake was good — more than enough for two. I liked the atmosphere enough to go back — though would probably go for lunch next time or with a coupon.

Nice open parking lot. We beat the 405 South traffic and made it down to Black Angus for an early dinner — since we have to get up at 3:30am the next morning for a super exciting day.(That is another review hehe). Checked in with the hostess within a minute and led to our booth table. Love the high booths, give much more privacy. The molasses bread was so good we had to get a 2nd loaf –00– We ordered the pork chops and prime ribs with baked potatoes and onion rings. Had leftovers for another 2 meals! Totally loved the cookie cake birthday that comes with a candle & a birthday song from 3 sweet waitresses. Fun way to keep celebrating my birthday all March long ^_^

I get the coupons in email or within the Sunday paper(yes, I still get and read the Sunday paper, well, I don’t read much of it anymore but I still go through the inserts). What was I saying? Oh yeah, the coupons. So, these coupons call out to me. Come visit us Rob. And so visit them I must. Add to that the fact that people give their gift cards during the holidays, and the path to steak must be followed. Okay, parking; this can be a chore. Come on a Friday night, Saturday or Sunday and you’re fighting with the mall/movie theater parking overflow. But eventually, you’ll find a spot. Walk inside and the setting is a nice comfortable darker tone. The bar is down a level and straight ahead of you with TV’s up above. Turn to the left and meet the greeters first. If you’re eating at the bar, you can head on down. If seating is your desire, one of them will take your name, when your table’s ready they’ll walk you there and converse in pleasantries along the way. Within a couple of minutes of being seated, your server should appear and take your drink orders. Most of the servers here are excellent. People say you shouldn’t mention the servers by name in a review and I really want to shine the light on a couple of them. But I won’t. Once your order is taken it doesn’t take long for your meal to arrive. This is based on my experience only. I haven’t had to wait longer than expected. The salad is nice. It arrives chilled with the salad items neatly organized(for instance, the shredded carrots are all stacked together), leaving it to you on how you want to mix them up. The bread which arrived first is warm and tasty. This bread seems to be a fan favorite. The steaks are juicy and delicious, although not always cooked the way you asked for it, hence the loss of a star. The lobster tails are a decent size and compliment the steaks, mmm melted butter. The veggies, if you ordered them, are veggies. Use those coupons and it’s not bad for the price.
