Silver Strike Bowling has been gone for awhile… replaced by Incredible Technologies’ «Putt Putt Golf» game, which I hear is pretty popular.

The Geyer House is a dinner only restaurant in Soulard, featuring seafood specialties. I love the look of this place, lots of wood and fireplaces, warm and inviting. The Geyer House is one of the nicer places to go in Soulard and I think it is perfect for a date night or a place to take out of town guests– the walls are also covered in STL memorabilia so they just might learn something about our fair city as well. I love oysters and the oysters Rockefeller here is divine, a perfect way to start a meal. I also enjoy the Cajun delight– a fried chicken breast covered with crawfish dressing. Because of the quality of the cuisine, you’d expect to pay a lot more at the Geyer House, but their prices cannot be beat, the portions are great, and the atmosphere is relaxing and inviting.
