This place was the typical dive bar. I love the dive bar scene because I don’t feel like it’s a meat market. I love that fact you can go here in a tee shirt and jeans and it’s not a bunch of girls In tiny dresses and four inch heels taking selfies everywhere. The bartender was really fast and she actually remembered what we were drinking. We only came here while we were waiting for our table a the oyster bar and discovered it was a pretty chill scene. The outdoor tables were nice cause I like to smoke when I drink. The only down side was some of the patrons were so drunk and obnoxious. The décor is horrible and It looks like a dump. If you want to meet your friends somewhere to have drinks and just relax this is your place. This is not a trendy«club» to meet the man or woman of your dreams.

Awesome bartender. Cheap drinks for being downtown. I visited in the middle of the week and it was slow but quiet is good.

Monster BLT was underwhelming. Menu said it came with a pound of bacon. There might have been ¼ pound of bacon it. The $ 6 price on beer certainly makes up for the cheap eats.

If you want to feel at home, away from home, check this place out! One block from Busch Stadium, right beside BOB, the Angry Beaver has all the ingredients needed for good times and a memorable experience. The burgers/peel n shrimp are amazing, and way underpriced for the taste/quality! Bartenders are very personable and«Ben», just may be the most entertaining bartender I’ve ever seen! To hell with the Vegas bottle spinners, come see this freak! If you’re headed to a game, or celebrating afterwards… put this place on your map, you won’t be disappointed!

Now that you have been to Ballpark Village next to Busch Stadium. .. you know you are still looking for a great tasting, inexpensive hamburger(99 cents) to eat before, during or after the Cardinals game, right? I have just the answer! The Angry Beaver, located at 730 South Broadway, next door to Broadway Oyster Bar. They have a limited menu and are currently open only on days the Cardinals are in town. But that is to change soon, possibly after July 4th, per Ben Morgan, owner. They have a large homemade hamburger(which I had and was truly delicious — even ordered a second one), tater tots were very tasty and the french fries were perfectly done for my taste. The Angry Beaver also has 35 cents peel-and-eat shrimp along with onion rings, monster BLT sandwich for $ 4.99 and a house salad for only $ 2.99. Big patio right next to the bar and big screen TVs to even watch the game during rain delays. Remember, they are only open on Cardinal game days/evenings through July 4th and then will start opening daily afterward. So when you are thinking of a great place for delicious pub grub before, during, or after your next Cardinal game, be sure to go to The Angry Beaver. .. and tell Ben that Steve Crouch sent you. You will be so glad afterwards.

The Angry Beaver is a bar located next to the Broadway Oyster Bar by the baseball stadium in downtown St. Louis. They tend to get crowded during ball games, and the bartenders usually do simple juggling tricks to entertain. The drink prices are above average for a casual environment and the overall atmosphere lacks luster. They don’t serve much food, but they offer a short list of freezer to fryer pub grub items. The 99 cent burger, is the best deal in the house.

Angry Beaver is a great spot before or after Cardinals games. The food is really cheap with prices similar to Fast Eddies. I think a beer costs about $ 5.50. But burgers and fries are .99 each. You do have to purchase a beverage per person for all good purchases. The burgers looked pretty good(for the price), but I didn’t try one. We did have the wings which were really good. Angry Beaver seems to have that neighborhood bar feel where the patrons seem to know each other. I would totally come back again especially for a cheap bite before a ballgame.

I can’t believe that I am the first to review the Beaver! We drive by this place every time we leave the Cardinals game. The sign reads, «$.99 Burgers.» Obviously, this advert weighed heavily on our decision to finally check out the Angry Beaver. I like what these guys are trying to accomplish: reel in patrons with cheap eats and get them to buy the beer. How very Fast Eddie’s! Really, this place lacks some of the charm of a Fast Eddie’s, but it’s difficult not to appreciate the inexpensive food. For $ 9.50, my wife and I had two burgers, two sodas, a bratwurst, and an order of cheese fries. I’m not complaining! I meant to ask the waitress, who was very nice, about the beer prices, just to get a gauge of what a evening here would run. However, she was basically running the inside by herself, so the opportunity never did come. We decided that Angry Beaver might not be our cup of tea, but we are not your average sports bar patrons. Still, I think it’s truly ideal for a few beers and some decent grub after a big red W!
