Very sweet owners and staff! Amazing tanning beds and top of the line spray tan! They do versa spa sprays and custom airbrush sprays.

I enjoyed coming here and the front desk lady was helpful. Not really sure why there are bad reviews. I enjoyed my session and will be coming back.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I started tanning at Sunny Buns shortly before summer in 2012. I paid for the package to do the VERSA SPA sunless tanning. The first few times I went there I tanned without a problem. But then when summer came, every time I went there they were out of the tannin solution for the versa spa. They offered me the airbrush tanning instead. I accepted only because I didn’t want to go another week without tanning. I didn’t like the results of the airbrush tanning, it makes you too dark, orange looking. They don’t have different shades you can pick, it’s all only the dark bronze. Plus you have to stand nude in front of the gals who spray you, I just am a little more shy and find it awkward! I tried tanning there a few more times, but every time they were out of the solution, they did offer me the airbrushing, but I didn’t want to turn out orange again. I tried to cancel my membership, due to the fact that I was paying $ 90 a month and never got to use the versa spa, so I was paying for services I never received. They refused to cancel my membership, and refused to stop charging my debit card. So I cancelled my card. Now I got a notice in the mail that they have sent me to collections for over $ 400! Even if you add up the 2 months left on my membership that were unpaid for, that’s only $ 166, not over $ 400!!! WHAT A RIP OFF! What horrible service you get there! You pay for services you never receive, and they continue to charge you even though they don’t provide the service you signed up for. I’M FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB, AND HOPING THESE NUMBSKULLS REFUND MY MONEY FOR RIPPING ME OFF, AND REVERSE THE FALSE COLLECTIONS CHARGE!

I called this morning at 8:30 for an acryllic fill. The receptionist wanted to give me a nail techs cell number to schedule my appointment because she had taken her appointment book with her. I settled for an 11:00 with the nail tech whose book was there.
When I walked through the door for the first time ever, I was greeted with a loud, abrasive, «How can I help ya?!» (Indication #1 that this might not be the place for me).
When my nail tech was ready for me, she immediately started sharing with me that she hadn’t slept in four days, that she had a rotten tooth and that her son’s wife was having an affair. Umm… tmi…
And then, she proceded to tell me that acryllics weren’t her specialty and admitted that she may not do the best job for me. My nails were soaking in acetone and she was peeling off the gelish coating. STOP!!!
I stopped her and said no thank you. She was sweet and admitted she just wanted to be honest with me. Thank God she was honest before creating a disaster. I told her she needs to inform her desk staff that she doesn’t do acryllics.
Waste of my morning waiting for this 11:00 appointment in which I expected and anticipated a professional service by an expert. My experience was gross. I do not recommend Sunny Buns at all. Very unprofessional from the phone call, the greeting upoon entering to the level of professionalism of the technician.

awful! i only dealt with the tanning salon part and the employees are unprofessional and have an iq of about 5. this salon isn’t corporately owned so they never change their bulbs. good luck even getting a good tan… we went in their «best» high pressure beds too. we also were promised of sharing a membership package which was dishonored 2 weeks after we signed it. this salon is so ass backwards and the worst one. i have ever been to. i will never tan or do. any type.of business with this place and. neither should anybody else!

sunny buns is a very trendy and great place. i have tanned there a few times and they sell some cute swimwear, lotions, knock off backs, but in all honesty. the only reason i had went there was to get my nails done. after my friend stopped doing nails at the salon there was no use for me. but sunny buns was and is a cute place to go for nails, tanning, etc…

How could I not love this place based on the name alone? I decided not to scare the southwest later this month and brighten up this pale skin of mine. I know it seems a little crazy to take off my clothes in public voluntarily during sub zero weather, but it had to be done. I checked out Sunny Buns’ website prior to stopping in. The website is very user friendly and has lots of great info and pictures of the trendy looking salon.
I was greeted by Dina, the owner, with a friendly smile and we went through my options for purchasing a tanning package. They have 13 tanning beds here so it’s easy to find the right degree of heat and power you like/​need. I decided on a package of 100 minutes in their entry level beds for $ 29.99, which is a special they’re having right now.
As Dina guided me back to the tanning rooms we walked through part of the salon which did have other patrons getting services done. The tanning rooms are all themed. Dina gave me the Cheetah Room, her favorite she said. The walls were painted with Cheetah spots all over. There was a Cheetah rug, chair, and picture. It was all very tastefully done. There were also a radio with headphones, makeup remover cloths, deodorant, and eye protectent.
The bed itself was seemed newer and my 15 minutes of warmth went by way too fast. The reality of going back to work was a bummer after dreaming of laying on a beach somewhere. A free bottle of water after each tan is given, which is a nice touch.
Dina told me if I’m tanning during the daytime an appointment wasn’t necessary. I noticed they do nails, hair, waxing, and some spa services. This really is a one stop for all your beauty needs. I’m looking forward to my next Sunny Buns visit soon.
