Do not use the spray tans at Palm Beach Tans… here’s what happened to me. What a crappy experience! I went in for spray tans prior to a Hawaiian vacation. I was talked in to a 3 spray pack. The first tan was very orange. I went back for a refund, as it clearly states that you can get the unused portion returned. The attendant had to call the owner, who told her that they don’t give refunds.(A HUGE sign on the wall states that they do.) Their solution was to try again with a bronzer, and give me that tan free. I reluctantly tried that. Yuck! So today I went back to try again to use one and was told that the three pack was only good for 45 days, but she could extend it, but she didn’t see any notes about the free tan. This was the same person who called before, so if notes are required THENSHE was the one to fail to add the note. A t this point I should have 2 left. I felt like she was telling me that I was making this up! She told me that lots of people tell her stuff like this.. Sheesh. After lots of hair twirling on her part and quiet seething on mine, I left. NEVERGOHERE…

They reached out to fix this situation via Unilocal & I never saw message or responded. After a few weeks, I was refunded the duplicate charge. They did try to fix this – just a little too late. I started tanning here bc they do have awesome, updated beds. The counter girls just rubbed me the wrong way with their customer service & lack of ability to solve problems. I changed my review to 4 stars. Pros –open early & late –good holiday promos($ 5 tanning is a steal in their high pressure beds) –up to date & good variety of beds –clean salon Cons –Customer Service –Process of solving customer complaints or accidents on Salons end Everybody has bad days – ultimately it’s a tanning salon. Offers good tanning beds.

I am so frustrated with Palm Beach Tan. They have changed ownership since I purchased a spray tan deal from the prior owners, and the remaining spray tan I tried to use today can no longer be honored. The notes in their computer even mentioned the fact that there would be no expiration date on that tan, which was the reason I agreed to purchase the half price package that was offered by the former owner. I do not understand the mentality of business owners who would risk getting this type of negative feedback when it would have been so easy to honor the deal I was given(how much could it have cost them…$ 20?) and have me and my feeling of good will leave their establishment. Now I will let everyone I know not to go to Palm Beach Tan because I was treated unfairly.

The manager has a great personality. Really helpful! I was very impressed and will definitely be returning. :)
