When I walked in the salon, everyone looked at me like I was bothering their conversation. The girl that cut my hair was less than interested in giving me good service. I asked for a simple medium fade and to texture the top. I had been wearing a hat so my hair was a little matted down as well. Thinking she might wet the to of my hair to texturize it, she only faded the sides and acted as if she was done cutting my hair. She asked me if I liked the fade, which happened to have multiple crooked lines in it. I asked if she could blend it a little more and she gave a muffled grunt and just started cutting my hair again without saying a word. After about 2 more minutes of this, she asked again. It didn’t look any better, but I just said it was ok. So remember how the top of my hair was matted down? She hadn’t touched the top and took off my hair apron as if she was done. I kindly asked if she could texture the top and wash it. Again, she grunted and looked pissed. After it was said and done she sat me down again and just combed my hair with water, without asking if I wanted any product. I couldn’t make this up if I tried.
It was seriously like pulling teeth to get what I wanted here. A simple military hair cut!

As a hair dresser myself, I know this sounds crazy, but trust me when I say don’t judge a book by its cover! The manager Jesse Chase is a diamond in the rough and would make Vidal Sassoon proud of his precision cuts and color! Other places are way over priced and can make you feel like you are interrupting their sorority time but not here, you & your hair are their number one priority! So give them a chance and you will be pleasantly surprised!
