Consistently crappy coffee. It’s basically coin toss to whether or not your espresso will taste burnt AF. Not worth the prices.

Came here on my Seattle trip to see Iggy Pop to have a latte to go. It was a grab and go situation. Decent latte, good customer service and fair prices.

The American is terriable. Shots tastes like burned. I even get a large amount coffee grounds in my cup. Although the environment is ok.

Went for a walk to clear my head(been at harborview for a while now) and stopped here as it was raining too hard to walk far. The inside was nice and warm and very homey! Barista was super friendly and I got the French toast latte and an almond croissant. The barista also suggested the whipped cream on top and I’m glad I got it, yummy! Perfect break from a crappy rainy day!

Coffee is good, there is no doubt about that. Seems like the cashier(short half shaved head) has a bit of an attitude. Asked a question with a reply of «Sure». If the word sure is not a possible drink order don’t answer with it. Rest of staff was friendly.

Wow I cheated on my beloved Starbucks and it was oh so worth it! I had a mocha here and I was very impressed. Creamy, rich, foamy, decadent chocolate taste. I even forgot the regular milk and I usually get almond or coconut milk. I’ll pay for that later. But until then, deliciousness.

Perfect if you work close by. I go to Diva’s all of the time. They have great coffee and I love their lavender iced tea. The service is friendly. No parking because of the location. Long lines almost all day. Nice seating area inside. Close enough to work with the ability to feel like you’ve left work for a but. Pastries are great but the salads and sandwiches are mediocre at best and expensive.

Diva is charging 25c extra for ice in a cold drink. Now, I get it, Washington is facing a drought so, perhaps, in their corporate altruism, Diva is trying to ensure a more egalitarian allocation of resources. Except, gram for gram, utilizing ice, while it occupies more space, actually consumes less dihydrogen monoxide than the water they used to fill my cup. Sure, the argument could be made that Diva has an increased expenditure in carbon emissions from keeping the ice in an ice state. However, they already have other frozen products and foodstuffs that effectively utilize the same power expenditure, regardless of the addition of ice. So, in evaluating the nickel and dime behavior of extending ice premiums to customers in the middle of summer, which likely pays off other expenses from more eccentric consumers, I likely will no longer offer my patronage.

Décor/atmosphere doesn’t meet the high Seattle standard, but it’ll do the trick if you are on 1st Hill.

Not cup of coffee. A lot of folks where I work say its good. I’ve had way better. Doesn’t taste like coffee. I only taste milk. Coffee maker never stired and left flavoring at the bottom of the cup. Had same thing happen the first time I went. Overall dissatisfied.

The pastries are much better than they used to be. But stay away from the Vegan unless you actually LIKE that stuff. The coffee tastes really good. It is a bit expensive though. Last week I got the stink eye when I ordered a «Triple espresso over ice w/vanilla» —– ASIF I’M GOINGTOGOADD/STEAL MILKANDMAKEIT A LATTE! **i’m not** No– I just think that most places make a latte or cappuccino that taste like coffee flavored milk rather than a good strong drink. Today a different person helped me and was very sweet and made an awesome drink for me. It just goes to show you that 1 bad apple should not ruin the bunch.

Good coffee. Busy shop. Friendly but hit and miss service. It’s either smooth and efficient or they take forever to get everybody taken care of. If there’s a line I usually just move along. Still, the coffee is alright and you could do worse.

With a great location(right around the block from my apartment) I can get the worlds best coffee. The staff is super reliable and nice. Great customer service. And though busy at times, totally worth it. And they do a great Creamsicle(orange & vanilla syrup) Italian soda’s ever. In my book, they are all Rock Stars!!!

My co-worker and I come to Diva on a regular basis. Coffee is a must in our line of work. It’s what keeps us coherent throughout the day. Depends on the day, but for the most part. expect a long line. Everyone is trying to get their fix like the next person in line. Also, depending on who is cashiering. will determine how long you wait. What I like about this coffee shop and the reason why we keep coming back is that they remember our drinks. They ask, «The usual?» and we go, «The usual.» It’s always made how we like it and we never have to question if it’s going to be good. It’s ALWAYS good. They serve a good variety of pastries and lunch items which also include gluten free and vegan options I believe. Definitely our go to spot for coffee and it’s good. A little pricey. but when you need your fix. you’ll pay for it.

Very convenient location if you work at HMC or adjacent locations. It is right beneath 9th and Jefferson. Long lines during lunch hours as many healthcare and admin are here filling up on their caffeine. They don’t have any rewards programs but they do give you cool stickers that you can put on your cup and if you buy a gift card you get 20% off or something I forgot the terms exactly. I like it for the convenience though :) — they open until 7PM!

A nice little coffee shop, serving all kinds of people who are at Harborview, from patients to healthcare providers. I found the staff very helpful and friendly. One bizarre thing — their Visa receipts don’t list the name of the company or the address, nor do they itemize what you bought — have you ever tried to figure out after the fact what business«Quick 81» $ 3.24 came from? It’s one of the few businesses whose receipts don’t identify the business or the address — it makes their receipts less than useful.

If there is a line of more than 2 – 3 people expect to wait at least 15 minutes for over-priced coffee($ 5.50+ for a 16oz latte). The barista on the bar can be fast but it takes forever to be rung up! Perhaps someone should get two registers or re-design the layout of the store. I used to be okay with the wait because the staff were super friendly and we’d chat about sports or their bands but nearly the entire crew left for different jobs and now the staff don’t talk because they’re too stressed about the line. Harborview doesn’t have very good coffee shops nearby so we all stick to Diva and pay the price. I miss the old crew that made better coffee and conversation!

They had rice milk. For me, this was amazing. Maybe it’s normal in coffee shops in Seattle. I don’t know. But coming from Mountain View to Seattle, I was pretty impressed. I drink a lot of rice milk. But I can never find a coffee shop that has it available. Until I went to Diva. I can tell you, when I was in Seattle, I went to Diva quite a bit. They were super nice, thought I was silly because I was a bit gaga over the rice milk lattes(I can’t have soy, you see), and the coffee was good. Would I go back? Of course I would! The place is a favorite of the Harborview Hospital Staff, and I can see why. It’s a nice place to take a breath of fresh air and feel as if you are stepping away from life for a bit. I approve.

This has become my go-to coffee shop. The staff are friendly enough, and adept at making coffee. The line moves quickly and efficiently. My good old standby, double tall nonfat mocha is great here.

Waking up to get to work at 7:30am sucks but good thing Diva Espresso is right across the street to wake me up! I usually come in at around 7 to get my coffee fix and it can get pretty busy. I usually see the same 3 guys that work there and they are very quick and efficient in getting those coffee orders out for those sleep-deprived doctors and nurses. They are very friendly and one of them even knows my order! There are a few tables and a couple of armchairs to lounge on for people to temporarily escape from the crazies at Harborzoo. Most of the customers generally come here to get their coffee and go. I always like to get their white chocolate mocha(yea I admit I have a sweet tooth), and sometimes even just the regular mocha or the generra(mocha with orange zest). I like how they make it so that it isn’t overpoweringly sweet, and you can still taste the espresso in the drink. They have a nice velvety foam and I appreciate the lovely latte art. They also sell many flavors of gelato as well as bagels, pastries and sandwiches. If you plan on coming here multiple times, be sure to get the gift card and register it to get $ 5 added to your card for free! If you buy 10 drinks on your card, you’ll also get an extra $ 5. It’s a pretty good incentive for me to come back again, and the coffee here is excellent.
