If you call in to reserve anything, make sure that someone actually picks up the phone to take your order. I left a message about my order(with time/date, contact info etc) after calling them five times because no one picked up the phone, and was later told that no reservation/order was made. Don’t buy into that«friendly» recorded message saying that they are going to take your message. They will not.

Always run out of breakfast sandwiches. Always packed. Shady characters hang around. Mediocre service

Good service, no hassles. My husband went for coffee this morning and said the servers are polite and friendly. He got a refill and had no hassles whatsoever. Did you know Stonestown Starbucks would INSIST on a receipt even asking if I remembered who I bought the first cup from. OMG. Talk about BS. Anyway love the one on 19th Avenue. I’ve been there several times. Apparently lots of other love them too since they are very popular and doing good business.

Every Starbucks employee is a theif in sheep clothing. I keep leaving my laptop charger before they close up. Once I call corporate to complain it magically appears. This happen to my Windows and now Apple MacBook Pro. Manager says they’ll call back but never did. Bunch of liars too.

Found a parking space on busy 19th Ave and was looking frwd to a Starbucks latte. My exp was ruined by an immature cashier who was obviously talking about me(pointing finger at me/whispering) while I was waiting for my coffee. All I can say is ur stuck behind a counter on a fabulous sunny Saturday and I’m out enjoying the weather and my Starbucks latte… HAH! Don’t think I’m coming back to this location; so many other locations with much better customer service… mature employees who are friendly towards their customers.

Service and drinks were great, maybe they are stepping up their game. I was a table hog and no one said anything(there was other tables open). Cool locations in the hustle and bustle.

Neighborhood Star right on the corner of a busy intersection. Accessible but difficult to find parking. Usual Starbucks menu so nothing new. This place does get crowded so seating can be a premium. Enjoy the coffee.

Yeah sometimes they are okay. But most of the time they are not too nice. I gave them a tip in their jar with coins and I guess they didn’t realize it. I had my money ready before the girl had it put into the cash register. They were snarky with me. This place is popular cause there really aren’t any other locations nearby. I’m big on customer service so I don’t think I’ll be coming to this Starbucks location anymore. The Geary location starbucks is awesome. They are fast and friendly and never talk about their customers thinking we can’t hear them.

I went in the for the first time in months the service polite and very fast to get my order. But the only thing I didn’t like is that these nasty looking Flys were all over the counter in the front and the back counters. It didn’t seem to pleasant to get my drink and warm sandwich on these counters. they need to cleanup the place and deal with the nasty pregnant fly problem

I often seem to stop here for coffee while driving through the city up and down 19th. It’s convenient and usually pretty friendly. There are plenty of places to sit and plug in, so there are usually quite a few people sitting with their laptops.

Always fast, baristas here are always friendly too. My go to starbucks in the city. Don’t think I’ve waited longer then three minutes for a drink, even during a rush.

I love all the people that work here, they know me by name(which is probably due to my addiction to coffee) but I like to pretend it’s because we are all friends haha, always super fast even when there is a huge line. love you guys!

So the strawberry yogurt muffins are slamming!!! Lovely staff, always clean, and you can charge your phone here without being hastled to move like other locations in the city. One day I was enjoying a muffin and all of a sudden a women walks in huffing and puffing about the delivery truck blocking her way out. Now anybody who’s been on irving especially 19th avenue and irving knows there is hardly anywhere to park since tons of traffic in the area so spaces are limited. She’s screaming in his face and threatening to call the police. Lol the truck driver just stood there not even phased by a screaming soccer mom in his face because he had a delivery to make. My point is double parking is going to happen so be prepared to be boxed in. Beat Starbucks in the city.

cashiers/staff: 5⁄5 drinks/food: 3⁄5 regular starbucks faire, not great but not bad either This Starbucks has a pretty good amount of seating and service. The baristas make your drinks well and I haven’t had any problems yet. The workers there are all very nice. Great for to go because they are fast. However, don’t come here if you want a quiet place to chill out or do your work in the AM or weekend. This Starbucks is extremely loud and most of the seating is taken up. Every single morning, there are groups of middle aged and older asian people who use this as their hang out spot(or reading newspapers spot) instead of going to the usual bakery or doughnut shop. Has any of you ever been to a chinese restaurant? Thats how loud it is in there and thats how it sounds. Sometimes they take chairs from other tables and try to cram 7 – 10 people around one seating area. Also, you get the rush from the parents who drop their kids off at the nearby schools. Sometimes its Cee Lai central(asian middle aged house wife). There are the occasional hobo or two and people with their laptops actually trying to do work in the noise. This is more like a community center than a starbucks. Surprisingly, the place is still pretty clean for all the people who come through here. I’ve only come here once where they forgot to replace the condiments after the morning rush.

I don’t understand such the poor reviews here BUT I do kinda come during down time. I guess ppl that review here are actually waiting in their long lines during rush hour. Place has been renovated. It’s clean. Staffs friendly enough. If you don’t have time to wait for coffee just grab a drip and go! Duh.

This is one of my regular Starbucks I tend to go to. They are quick with their drinks and it’s consistent each time. Staff is friendly even during their busy hours. This Starbucks is pretty clean overall. They have tons of space and tables for students to study. If you come in the mornings like me, you will not see as many students but more retirees where they are enjoying their cup of coffee with a newspaper. The only reason why this Starbucks is not 5 stars is the parking. If you’re trying to come to this Starbucks once all the business around here opens, you will definitely have a hard time.

OK, I know you are asking, how can a Starbucks get a five star? After all, Starbucks is Starbucks right? Well, maybe. The coffee and food are about the same as any other Starbucks. That said, I go across town(well, not far across town) to seek this one out. Three main reasons: The service is fast. I always get in and out. The people who work there are very friendly. Most important, the lay out is really nice. They have some nice seating at up tables. When I go by myself(which I usually do) I sit at the«bar» which looks out the window, where you can watch people walk by on Irving and 19th Avenue.

I LOVE19th Ave Starbucks cos I live so close by, and it is next door to Sunset Nails! I come in all the time, morning coffees before jumping on the train or bus, Afternoon Tea as well… or when I just need a Coffee or Iced Tea fix as well. They offer free wifi & the coded bathrooms keep the public out which is often nice. I love Starbucks during Autumn — Pumpkin Spice Latte time, & then during the Holiday Season I also love the Gingerbread Latte! Anything with Spice! Lynette is my absolute favourite Barista, I know I’m going to get a perfectly crafted coffee when she makes it. She is warm, talented, savvy and sparkling; and the floor looks perfect when she manages it! I love approaching the Till when she is there in the mornings! All of the Baristas for the most part are friendly, bubbly, & knowledgable. There is more of a MALE boyish presence to this Starbucks than the OTHER Starbucks on 9th& Irving which is more Feminine(sometimes I need to be around the Ladies) which has a very different feel in itself… But all in all I defenitely think 19th Ave Starbucks is higher up in the ranks. When I walk in to Stores I have expectations &19th meets them.
