I had many recommendations for Dr. Simonds including an oral surgeon. In one word, Dr. Simonds can be be described as…“meticulous” which is exactly what you want for a periodontal procedure. I cannot say enough about the quality of the staff, the warm atmosphere of the office and the caring attitude of Dr. Simonds. Periodontal care IS when you want the best and someone who pays attention to detail; meticulous! AND… I need to mention he teaches at UCSF Dental School… need I say more. BTW — he just called to see how I was doing… when’s the last time that ever happened!

I never thought that I would actually feel no fear or discomfort when I would receive dental care. But this place is exceptional. Dr. Simonds spends time with you explaining the procedure and reassuring you that everything will be Ok. Recently, I had a bone graft I was terrified of having and his dental assistant, Alicia, actually held my hand! The whole office is very professional and I highly recommend anyone who needs dental care to make an appointment. You will not regret it.
