Panda Express

I understand this place gets busy, but this place has given me the worst Panda experience by far! When it was my turn to order they ran out of fried rice which is understandable in the afternoon rush, but I was told 4 minutes, 15 minutes later the fried rice rolls out. But they forgot about my plate so by the time I could get someone’s attention about my other they ran out of chow main. Again a «4 minute wait» ahead of me. Can you guess what happens next? Well when the chow me in rolls out 15 minutes later, they are then out of the orange chicken I had asked for. Another «4 minute wait» So in all I waited 40 minutes for my food and what really gets me is that the people in line who asked for the same thing got their orders and were on their way! I’d rather drive to the Panda Express on Sebastapol Rd. and I suggest you do the same. This place has delivered the worst Panda Express experience I’ve had, and I have eaten at other Panda Express from all California, usually at the dinner rush also.

This Panda express is by far the best in Santa Rosa. I’ve been to others in the area, for example the one on stony point, and have always had overcooked limp nasty fried rice and undercooked chicken. I also tried the one in the mall which was also a disappoinent. But let me tell you if you want perfectly cooked fried rice and well cooked orange chicken this is the place. Not to mention the kindest service who made me fresh fried rice ten minutes before closing time. Shout out to Cristian!!! Who did so for me. And the rest of the staff for always serving with a smile. Best Panda in town, if not the whole county. For sure not going to any other panda but this one in the future. Quality over convenience (:

We went back a few times in 2015, but now it’s not worth the trip over to Mendo Ave. Did it keep getting worse, or did we just get used to their flavors? Maybe I need to take Chinese cooking lessons, because I can’t find one place in town that is consistently good.

My husband and I both just woke up throwing up after not feeling to great after eating here. Food poisoning!

Food was good and fast. Seems to be very fresh and the cook looked like he knew what he was doing. The staff was friendly.

So I am ballin on budget these days… So ended up at panda express… I am sorry but this food is not fit for human, animal, or any consumption of any sort. The «chicken» has clearly been under those heat lamps for a few days and the rice tastes and feels like the styrofoam its served in. Do these guys even have for here options… Cuz thats what I said but I got a bagged up styro container with some inedible «food» in it. Straight in the trash. Guess I didn’t save much money coming here… I am leaving more hungry then I arrived.

My daughter’s favorite. I don’t eat here anymore. She had the new Sesame chicken, Orange chicken, String bean chicken, and rice. She loves all the classic’s but didn’t care for the new Sesame chicken. I did try a bite of Sesame chicken since i have tried everything there pretty much. It was ok, but i agree with her. Not really any flavor. At least they didn’t forget anything like other location constantly does, and the food was fresh and not dried out.

Came here later in the evening so their selection was a little thin. Although I was just waiting for pot stickers the ladies behind the counter were super nice and accommodating. They handled some rather rude customers with grace and kept smiles on their faces.
They gave me extra port stickers since it took a lil bit longer than expected. Besides that their usual items were spot on and tasty so I would come back to this location

I love eatting at Panda Express! Food is good and staff is polite. I have a Service Dog and had her with me along with my kids. Expecting a negative response toward her but they were super nice and polite and even gave her a bowl of water. Thank you very much! I will definately be back.

What much is there to say? It is steam table Chinese food and a bit pricey at that.
Fatty, salty and processed. There are so many options for Chinese food around I consider it a last resort.
The one (and only) redeeming feature is that it is fast and you do not have to order in advance. If you are in a hurry… maybe.

This location is out of food most of the time. Long lines. Most of the workers seem confused. I’ll make the drive to Panda in Rohnert Park – very friendly and fully stocked.

Positives:
–The price is right
–The portions were large (I had a take-​out meal of chow mein, kung pao chicken and mushroom chicken and it was 2 meals for me)
–The staff was incredibly friendly and the place was clean
Negatives:
–It’s a chain
–I’ve definitely had better Chinese food but for a chain, you pay for what you get and for the price it is not half bad :)

I had thought about ordering delivery (because I do not drive) but not impressed with reviews of Chinese delivery restaurants in our area. Therefore, I chose to go with my tried and true Panda. So I caught the bus to make a special trip to Panda. It was busy. I ordered 1 Kung Pow Chicken and the Surf and turf for one order. 2^nd order was for 2 service of Surf and Turf. Took the bus home to find that I have 2 of the Surf and Turf and no Chicken.
No way I am catching the bus back and forth to correct this error.
Staff is always nice and generous. Please remember when you are packing someone’s order it is not easy for some of us to return to correct a mistake. Also, the receipt is missing.
Remind employees when it gets busy to take a deep breath and get it right rather than rush thru. I would have rather waited longer than get a wrong order.
Still loyal just sad since I was craving the chicken. Food is very good.

Keep coming here and the service just gets more and more rude. I agree with the previous comment that customers seem to be an inconvenience. Won’t bother again. Plenty of other places to go.

The food was good but a homeless person came in and dragged her homeless person bag all over the counter. The staff gave her a free sample shrimp. She got water in her dirty reused cup and then left. The whole experienced left us wondering how dirty the place was.

For the most part, good food. Don’t get the wanna be tuff chick with the tattoo sleeve as a server. She will stare you down with daggers if you order the wrong way. oooo.
Anyway, Angus beef is very very good as well as the vegetable spring rolls.

For a panda express, the food is to be expected. But, the thing is, the service is usually the best here, so we usually eat at this one. Depending on who you get, the portion size varies. I will be going back.

This is an ok place to get a quick lunch… dont expect anthing but a quick edible meal… had the kung pao chicken, spicy and pretty good. eggrolls just didnt quite do it for me. greasy with a weird taste. Sweet and sour sauce not so good. A little pricey for what you get. It is not my favorite, but will do in a pinch

I like the fast food Chinese concept, but the food is hurting as soon as it cools off. The Ancient Chinese secret?. .. . Always order your food to go ! because the carton is much larger than the dine inn paper plate, thus effecting your portion size. I give 3 stars to fast food.

My serving sizes were as expected.
What I found that I liked best about this particular panda is that the food was spicier than normal which is what I like. Cean fast service, hey its a Panda.
