wonderful tacos in a cute«diner in a dive gas station store» atmosphere. we love kitsch, so that suited us well. the best part was the freshly made open faced tacos with condiments to match any taste. pollo asado and carne asado was flavorful and just cooked — way delicious. there’s plenty of turnover too, so you have better confidence in its freshness. check it out, very memorable!

Look past the fact that this food is made in a gas station kitchen. Think more of it as a perk to get gas while you visit this restaurant. I snagged a little grub and filled up my tank at the same time. The food was good. I specifically got the chorizo tacos. I always base my opinion on the quality of the chorizo and pico. This was well made, wasn’t full of grease, and had seasoning that tasted great. Give this place a try. The food is good, the price is reasonable, and you can get your car gassed up while you eat. Perfect!

Best burritos and tacos I’ve tasted. Highly recommend the Border burrito or the breakfast burrito with bacon and steak. Don’t be skeptical because it’s in a gas station.

This place is so good… Do not be put off that it’s inside a gas station, I used to live very close to Sebastopol rd, so I had all sorts of taco places to choose from, now living over here I was having a hard time finding good tacos… Real tacos without all the garbage on them. And I have found them. Really good food here.

My husband and I were passing through. Aztec Grill was convenient. We had Chile Relleno Plate! Best we’ve had in a long time. Authentic flavor!

I’d been craving breakfast burrito and I’m new kid in town. Unilocal’d best breakfast burrito and this place came up. YESSSS! It is! Delicious! So far I’ve tried the chorizo and basic egg and potato and love both. Yea, it’s a gas station so I get mine to go. Wow, are they ever good. I’ll have to try some of the rest of the menu eventually but man are them BBs GOOD!

Delish and inexpensive! Made a large Togo order for a meeting. Everyone raved about how good they were. I was a bit embarrassed to tell them about the location but you just can’t haste a book by its cover. Absolutely delish.

As others have said, don’t be put off by it being in a gas station! It’s great! Fast service and cheap. Burritos around $ 7, street tacos $ 1.59

I ordered two breakfast burritos with chorizo by phone, on the strength of the reviews here. I picked these up 10 minutes later, and we ate them at home. The burritos were just loaded with ground chorizo, plenty of egg, and the spicy sauce was just delicious. In short, we were VERY surprised at the quality of the food. As a testament, they were devoured(and savored) in short order. As one reviewer stated, it is a gas station atmosphere, but it’s quite a friendly, clean little grill, and their tables were half full even at 9 a.m. To paraphrase again(lazy me) I wouldn’t go for the ambiance, but I will definitely be back to try more of that terrific food! It’s close to home, it’s a good value, and I want to try more of their food. That about wraps it up!

Don’t be fooled people I know it’s a weird looking Mexican place inside a Chevron, but their food is actually REALLYREALLY good. I always get the border burrito and the tacos. Great food and decent prices as well! The to-go breakfast burritos are pretty good too.

Good Mexican food — $ 1 street tacos are good — I like the El Pastor. The Chimichanga was excellent compared to down the street(aka Taqueria Santa Rosa #5). Cooked perfectly with lots of meat, good salsa, decent chips. it’s definitely a gas station atmosphere — but we’re not here to dine. It’s really great food coming out of a Gas Station. And since it’s a Gas Station sometimes they miss things, or there are people in front of you paying for their gas. Great place to pick up good Mexican food if you don’t want the atmosphere. Also — order the Churro here — very good and freshly fried.

We love this place, better then most places in town, and cheaper. Dont be scared because its inside of the gas station, it is the best! They are very friendly, and because they are small they get fresh load delivery several times a week which ensures freshness!

Can’t beat this place as far as speed and price goes. The dollar tacos are quite worth it, and the breakfast burritos are a must if you’re here early morning(although they will serve them all day)

I cannot believe I don’t already have a review here… I cohld swear I already reviewed it! This is an amazing, freshly made quality mexican yum, yum fest! I remember the first time I saw mexican food in a gas station… wthe flip?! Must be gross… hmmmm…1 dollar carne esada taco??? Is it scary like a pre-made 7⁄11 sandwhich… well… maybe I’ll just check one out… OMG! Sooooo goood the salsa, the fresh lime wedges-the fact you have a bit of a wait, meaning they are making it just 4 U!!! I recently moved farther away from this particular mexican yum –yum so you know what… I drive my butt that extra milage, B-cuz it’s that good, and that worth it! Hidden treasure. Oh, and the people at the counter. sooo nice, so sweet, and that, is what seals the deal! Keri

We were on the road and one of my car buddies suggested that we go to Aztec Grill, Mexican food, Santa Rosa. Okay. I dig Mexican food. This place was attached to a gas station. Literally… approximately 1 foot between the counter for Chevron and the grill. I expected ABSOLUTELYNOTHING from the food here. I was ready to prepare a 1-star review. But alas, despite its sketchy factor, the food was decent for«gas station food» Good size, average prices. I got a steak & egg breakfast burrito(for lunch) for only $ 3.75. I recommend it! The vegetarian burrito looked particularly awesome too. Not much else to say about this place. Just don’t forget to ask for pico de gallo!
