I highly recommend Opticali. I have bought 2 pair from David and they are great and sometimes I need an adjustment and he can do it. I walk in most times but there usually is free parking in front or meters somewhere close. It is Montana and 10th.

I recently purchased a couple of pairs of glasses from David at Opticali, and I was very happy with the process. The store has a wide range of frames available, and David was very good at picking out frames for me to try and commenting on how they worked. I will definitely return when I want more frames.

I have had glasses made here a number of times. David’s knowledge, courtesy and good service are impeccable. He is a true professional and one of the best in this field — I’ve been wearing glasses all my life, so I’ve met a few! A plus is that the store has some of the most stylish eyewhere available anywhere. I can’t say enough good things about this business — highly recommend!

The eye’s have it!
I have been outdoors a lot more lately and my «old» sunglasses weren’t cutting it. I wanted something that would brighten my path and be easier on my eyes.
David is well informed, patient, knowledgeable and made the buying experience fun. After trying, and retrying, about 10 pairs ranging from yellowish, to roseish, from fixed color to Cameleon morphing lenses, I settled in on a pair that I am very happy with.

Is there anything more vital than being able to see, AND look good while doing it? My experience with David, the owner of Opticali, not only fulfilled every expectation I could have had, but moreover, he genuinely cared about my satisfaction and meeting my needs. He was both concerned and creative, as well as eager to satisfy every darn detail. It was a uniquely gratifying experience and I recommend David at Optical without any reservation, and with enthusiasm.

I got my first new glasses in 4 years and went to 3 different stores in Santa Monica. David beat the two others hands down. Superb service, truly passionate about his craft, a consultative approach (I don’t know about you, but I want my optician to be opinionated), and a good eye for what works and what doesn’t. On top of it, my frame ended up being quite moderately priced, so it really was a great experience all around.
I definitely recommend David and OptiCali, and you will agree if you make a direct comparison to other Santa Monica stores.

I was doing laundry next door when I decided to stop in on a whim and have them take a look at a pair of Persol glasses that I’ve had for several years (and bought somewhere else entirely). I never wear them because they slide down my face all the time, and I explained that to the guy when I came in. He took the glasses and went right to work, bending them and working them and doing all sorts of magic on my glasses. When he passed them back, they fit like a glove and he didn’t charge me a dime. Very nice, very skilled, very awesome.

Opticali is a great place! Not only do they carry a vast selection of sunglasses and eyeglasses, the man who owns the shop is very helpful and really knows his stuff. He was so helpful in helping me pick out the right pair of glasses. He immediately picked out a fun shape that fit my face perfectly. This was the easiest and most painless experience I have ever had getting glasses. I highly recommend coming here.
