I love Spectech! they have a great selection of frames, i bought 2 pairs from them. They were very knowledgeable, Bianca took her time to help me find the right frame for my face shape. I would totally recommend anyone to go get their glasses at Spectech! i will be back for sure!

I was refferred to SpecTech by a friend and I got myself two sets of frames.
Cliff had them all set up and ready to go within days .
One can tell, when german craftsman ship is at work, the glasses fit just perfectly !
When I picked them up, Bianca made sure everything was right and ready to go.
If you need glasses, this is the place to see !!

I used to work near sunset and fairfax so I would always get my glasses at a place I loved on Melrose, but since I haven’t been down that way on a regular basis in over 5 years, I wanted to find something closer to where I live. So a friend referred me to Spectech. I have been very happy with them because they have one of the best selections of unique, high quality, and hip eyeglasses and frames. They were super patient with me, and helped me narrow down my decision to a pair that was perfect for me, that fit my larger face well– they look, work, and feel great. I was really happy with my experience at Spectech and plan to pay them another visit next time I need a new pair of glasses or shades.

I stopped by here to check out the eye glasses, but they are not affiliated with any types of insurance. The selection looked solid but I cant see paying the extra costs if you have coverage.
I went a block down the street to Montana Eyecare instead who take my insurance.

Spectech has an incredible collection of the coolest frames anywhere on the westside or in LA for that matter. They have always been incredibly helpful, patient, professional and friendly to me and my wife. C.J. Wagner is the Optician and has German precision and does excellent work and a fine collector of mini cars to boot. I have bought many pairs of frames from them, as well as my wife and friends we’ve recommended. Everyone has come away with a very positive experience.

If you watch Grey’s Anatomy, you’ll know what I mean when I say that after my visit to Spectech, I can see the LEAVES. I mean, I could see before with my other expensive glasses, but the Lindberg’s I walked out of the store wearing means that I’m doing some very fashionable seeing and being seen.
Customer service was great. I went in thinking I wanted one thing, but once I narrowed my choice to the Lindberg’s, I had all the helped I needed switching out lenses and trying different styles.
I know that most people in LA have cars, but for a visitor taking the bus, Spectech’s location right at a bus stop couldn’t get any better.
They had no problem working with the prescription my London optometrist emailed.
All in all, excellent experience. I see you, baby!

Customer service needs work. I was trying to decide on a color for Lindberg frames (notoriously hard to order because colors vary greatly). They refused to tell me the color code of frames they pictured on line unless I bought the frames first. We have a chicken and egg problem here. Very snotty. I went with someone else.
