Most of these reviews are old. The clothes are great… the salesgirls incredibly nice and helpful. Actually those old reviews should just be removed.

I will have to start this review with a little dilemma. They do not in fact sell any men’s clothing. I really wish they did because the store is always changing with the seasons, and is usually ahead of the trends. I only go there because I am friends with Kathryn. She is super warm, and friendly. Any time I have gone in to visit she is very hands on with the customers, and offers much insight on what’s in, and what will look best. These reasons make me really wish it did have a men’s line. I would give it 5 stars if that were the case. Again, my vote is kind of unfair due to giving a demotion for lack of both sexes being represented. If it were different, I would absolutely give a fifth star!

The salesgirls here are the worst! Rude unfriendly unhelpful snotty and snooty. I live around the corner and have been in many times, asking for help for certain trips or events, these salesgirls could care less. You ladies do realize you’re only salesgirls in a small clothing store, right? The owners should do themselves a favor and get some nice people to work at the store to sell their lovely yet highly priced items. Fail!

For the gals who complain about the salesgirls, maybe you are projecting. I shopped @ JILLROBERTS for yrs, and have found the gals very HONEST and helpful. If a garment is not flattering, they are honest.

My update is that this store’s selection has definitely changed over time. It has gotten much more casual and beach-y than it used to be. I can still find some great Philip Lim pieces there, but I don’t rely on it for for-work items anymore.

Suge K. — you so hit the nail on the head!(Although sadly, the lack of options for women like us is all too common along Montana Ave.) The biggest«boobs» in Jill Roberts are actually the salesgirls themselves. It’s one condescending, self-important, I-peaked-in-high-school chick after another. They could give away free puppies dipped in gold, I still would never set foot in that store again.

Dear Jill Roberts, I have tits. They’re not small. And they’re real. Tits on a stick are not real. 26D is not a size that occurs in nature. And those are the only D cup girls who will fit into your size 2 and size 4 clothes. Would it kill you to carry the occasional size 6 or size 8? I mean, I’m sure it would ruin your reputation to go into double digits with your sizes, but is there really that much of a stigma attached to size 6? Your clothes are cute and I like to spend large sums of money on cute clothes, so I think we’re both missing out. Thank you. P. S. Do you have your salesgirls brainwashed so that they no longer know they are sales clerks in clothing stores and instead think that they are curing cancer and the only way to cure cancer is to be horrendously bitchy to anyone who walks in the store?
