Fish tacos look like fish sticks on a tortilla, posole hominy was hard, they didn’t offer oregano or lime with it. We took back the posole and they didn’t offer a refund or an alternate item. Food does not have much taste, i guess it’s good Mexican food for gringos that don’t know better

Hits my «I need New Mexican food» button perfectly. Vegetarian options exist! This is the perfect place for a bite if you’re passing through Santa Fe but don’t want to deal with going all the way into the city. It’s next to a grocery store and a Starbucks so there is plenty of parking.

The frito pie was interesting and one of their burritos was ok. Tamales are amazing. The red chile pork one is the best. Green chile chicken tamale also very tasty. I did not try the vegetarian tamales and just assumed they were not as good because of their lack of meats. They won a bunch of awards at some tamale contest a couple years back. New life goal, tamale judge.

The food is super reasonably prices and AMAZINGLY delicious! Their tamales are the best thing ever, Frito pie is also highly recommended. I’ve never had their breakfast, but that will be my next trip there!

What else can I say but outstanding. In town for business and not much was open before 11am. Found this place easily using the Unilocal app. We were greeted upon arrival and given some time to look at the menu. The green chili frito pie was great and plentiful with great taste and not too hot. The breakfast tacos with chorizo sausage were great side items as well. There were many more items on the menu I’d like to try. Hope to try them again next time I’m in the Santa Fe area.

Chicharon burrito red! No beans! Frito pies: yumm! Easy in & out, lots of parking. Fair price. Biscochitos to go, & lots more. Locally owned forever, creating jobs & a staple tamale stop for many a Chritmas party. Enjoy :)

Amazing place! I’ve had the taco salad, shrimp tacos, and tamales and they’re all excellent. The guac and mango salsa are the best.

Cheap and good food! Had a great meal while I was on vacation in Santa Fe! They are known for their tamales and their breakfast burritos. I elected to try the breakfast burrito and it was incredibly delicious! Everyone else seems to enjoy their meal as well. Cheap prices for a good sized meal. It not in a super great location it the food makes up for it! Definitely check it out!

The food here was pretty great. We went here based purely on the positive Unilocal reviews, and it did not disappoint. I had the special of the day, which was pork tacos, and my wife had the taco salad, and both were excellent. The portions were large and neither of us were able to eat the entire thing — definitely should have opted out of the chips and salsa. The food is pretty spicy, and there’s even a disclaimer by the menu specifying that their hot stuff is hotter than you might expect. The restaurant was clean, but the staff wasn’t very friendly or polite — when we ordered our food, the cashier stopped listening to us twice(while we were in mid-sentence) to talk to one of the other employees. Overall I would recommend this place as a great place for some inexpensive Mexican food if you can handle the heat.

Back at Posa’s. Just as good as our last visit. Tried the fish tacos and the Santa Fe plate. Fish tacos came w/rice and beans. Also got a small container of mango salsa. All were delish! The Santa Fe dish had green chicken tamale and Posole. The green salsa is pretty hot so beware. Still good though. Finished the meal w/sopapila and honey.

Really excellent and MASSIVE burritos. Very well seasoned and affordable. Would definitely come back on another trip to Santa Fe! Be sure to take a hike afterward or at least not plan another meal for a long time!

The best quick breakfast burrito you can get! Not only are they fresh and delicious but they are inexpensive and keep you full all day long. This is a great place to stop to get in and out. The tamales here are also delicious, again another in and out to go situation. For fast delicious food to get on the run this is the place to check out!

I was driving by September 2014 and stopped in for a quick bite, I loved it! There were six of us in our party and we all loved our delicious meals. Additionally the staff was friendly and hospitable.

Very good — 3.5 stars Tamale and eggs breakfast plate very good. Pork tamales are well cooked and spicy. Red and green chile very good, just not great… Really looking for that«smokey /chocolatey» red chili — this isn’t it… Eggs and potatoes cooked well… For some areas, this would be great Mexican food — for Santa Fe, it’s good — but not fantastic. Prices are very reasonable, which in Santa Fe is fantastic!

I have been a fan of this place since 2002. The food is delicious and their service has improved greatly in the last few years. My favorite is the classic burrito. The green chili could be more spicy. We order 2 – 3 dozen tamales for Christmas very year and they never disappoint.

I got the tamales with green chile and some nachos with chicken. All was really quite good. Spouse got the fajita burrito, also quite good. I’m giving it four stars out of five comparing it to similarly-priced fare in Santa Fe. I’ve certainly had better, but not by much. This is a good place to get reasonably priced grub. You will not be disappointed!

The first time I tried this place I got a bean burrito, it was pretty good, so I came back a second time and tried the red, and green tamales. The green chicken tamales had absolutely no heat, but tasted good. The red pork tamales were mildly hot, I wanted more of these! The menu is on the wall behind the counter where you order. The staff is friendly. There is an average wait for your food to be prepared, about 5 to 10 minutes. There is plenty of seating in the restaurant, and large windows with a great view!

I love Posa’s, it is a Santa Fe tradition, and if you like eating where the locals eat, this is the place. The tamales are hand made! And during the week at the rodeo road location you can watch them be made through a glass window, kinda cool. The chile is hot so if you are a tourist, ask for it on the side. Recently I went and they had gotten an espresso machine. Wasn’t too bad for new coffee venture. Try the guac, and don’t forget to eat your sopapillas :)

I found Posa’s during a lunch break after meandering around unfamiliar territory and parking in a grocery store lot to use my dandy Unilocal app. Small, unassuming and the only place I ate at twice during my week stay in Santa Fe. There’s a ton of food options but I ended up with the combo plate because I couldn’t really decide — this came with a tamale, enchilada & chile relleno — and your choice of tortillas or sopaipilla. The cashier was very patient with me asking questions to make sure I was ordering something I’d actually like. SOGOOD. My favorite was the tamale(clearly, since it seems to be their #1 specialty). Everything else was well cooked and tasty as well. The sopaipilla(this word is not easy to spell) was the icing on the cake and comes with honey. Cooked to order but doesn’t take too long to come out. DE-LISH. I’d recommend to anyone passing through here or living here year round.
