Just got a chance to try this new restaurant out and I love it. They have a decent selection of beer and wine and service was fast and friendly. I had the vada sambar appetizer which is like a doughnut dropped in a stew with some side sauces. I had never had this dish before and loved it. The prawn curry was good, but it could have been a little spicier. I also had the three cheese dosa and LOVED that one so much. The same sauces came with that as the vada sambar. Finally they have a mango custard dessert that was also great once I figured out that you can’t eat it from the surface down, you have to dig in to get the full flavor. I am a fan and I will definitely be back. It’s a little pricey, but totally worth it.

I love this place, but it’s definitely a comfort food, no frills type of place. It seems like most people come here for the breakfast buffet, which I haven’t tried, but which looks pretty fresh, since there’s rapid turnover. I personally like ordering the chilaquiles with red chile or the chicharron burrito with red chile. The portions are enormous, and this place does their beans and Spanish rice well. My food always comes out very quickly, too. I find the décor clean an comfy, but this is the type of place froufrou people might mislabel a «hole in the wall.» This is definitely a place for locals.
