The coffee was OK(average) however it was NOT worth $ 2.99 a cup. The cost for 2 cups of coffee was approximately 25%(24.87%) of our total tab. Starbucks’ 12oz TALL, black coffee is ONLY $ 2.00. The MEHA(pronounced Mee-Hah) breakfast sandwich, was merely a version of a McMuffin, which is around $ 2.79; however at Joe’s you get charged $ 6.49. I asked for a couple of jalapenos slices and we were charged $ 1.00. In all you can a similar healthy breakfast for 2 at McDonald’s for $ 10.00. Our bill $ 26.48, plus tip($ 5), was 31.48. NOTWORTHIT.

Worst restaurant experience ever. Ordered a regular burger came without fries or chips it’s extra, chips and salsa is 8.00 and it’s from a can in addition if you require gluten free they charge you for each topping. Don’t waste your time here. Go somewhere else

Amazing Eggplant Parmesean! Great Gluten Free options! I wouldn’t gave stumbled into this restaurant on my own accord… the ambiance is not what I would go for… a diner. But, after an awesome facial and massage at the nearby Massaga and Banya Spa of Santa Fe… Kelley recommended Joe’s. So glad I tried it! Super low key, no downtown hype… just good REAL food… freshly made! And… they care about your health… check out the newsletter on your table!

Really overpriced — $ 10 for a plain beef burger without toppings or side… Meaning you’re going to have to drop $ 16 for a cheeseburger and fries. Seriously? The pizza is flavorless and tastes like it’s made by an amateur. The décor is loud and gaudy, and the rants about the evils of soy etc. that are forced upon customers in the newsletters placed at each table are laughable. How this place stays in business is beyond me.

Parents invited me here for a St. Patrick’s Day dinner, place was packed for the occasion. We had made a reservation earlier in the day, but wound up waiting 30 minutes to be seated anyway. Another 5 minutes for a server to take our drink orders, then 15 minutes more til we were served the drinks. Don’t you hate it when you look over the menu, and make a decision, only to be told that the item isn’t available, causing you to make a quick decision on a second choice? Me too. They didn’t have eggplant for the eggplant parm. Went with the Veggie on Focaccia sandwich, with a side of mashed potatoes. Fast forward 20 minutes, and our food arrives. First bite of my sandwich gave me hope that I made a good snap decision for my second choice, it was delicious! Second bite revealed that the artichoke in the sandwich was COMPLETELYFROZEN! Server was nowhere to be seen, so I grabbed a busser, and let him know that the sandwich was inedible. On to my 3rd choice — Spaghetti Marinara. By the time it came out, the rest of my party had finished their meals. Couldn’t eat much of it as it the noodles were way too salty. The marinara sauce seemed like it was just canned tomato chunks mixed with diced onions. 1 star because of having to wait 30 minutes despite having a reservation, terrible table service, & being served frozen food. Oh yeah, the mashed potatoes were really good. I feel like they should have charged me for them as a side though.

Joe’s is awesome. Different than the usual Santa Fe eating places. Service was excellent, not once did we have to ask for refills, as soon as our drinks got low the waiter was there refilling. Food was great and price was good too. I recommend this place.

I dig this Diner, off the beaten path in Santa Fe. As you are coming into Santa Fe or Heading out, you can catch this Diner in a strip mall off Rodeo Road. This place is cute, and decorated to appeal to kids and adults. It is bright, has a laid back atmosphere that is nice to chill at while you talk and wait for your delicious pasta or pizza. I had the fettuccine trifolati. — - If you like Mushrooms, try nothing else and GET this. I love mushrooms and dig fettuccine. The mushrooms are three kinds with an amazing cream sauce. There is a load of reggiano cheese with each bite. Soooo good! They invest highly in locally organic foods in Santa Fe and NM***

The weekend breakfast menu has a few really good vegetarian choices. The Cappuchino was a bit of a joke(tasted like filter coffee with milk foam and was pretty pricey) but the food was good. Not cheap, but everything tasted fresh and high quality.

GETTHEHIBISCUSTEA! Amazing! There is nothing average about this Joe. The diner feel of the restaurant was fun with good lighting and soft music playing enough to enjoy but not loud enough to where you really think about it playing or it overpowering your conversation. My husband and I stopped in after checking out the bike store next door and we were greeted with a smile, a request on seating preference and menus. I ordered the veggie sandwich on Joe’s focaccia bread and asked to add sautéed mushrooms and I chose the goat cheese. The sandwich came out stacked with heirloom tomato(locally purchased), roasted red peppers, lettuce, mushrooms, artichokes and a healthy portion of goat cheese and pesto. The focaccia bread was toasted and had soaked up some of the pesto(YUM). I ordered a side of Onion rings that I shared with my husband. The batter was light leaving more flavor from the onion than anything else. The portion was large so expect to bring home leftovers! My husband got a pizza with sausage and 3 types of mushrooms which added layers of flavor you won’t normally find on a pizza. The cornmeal they use on the bottom of the pizza dough lends extra crunch and flavor. All in all very good. The sauce was light in portion so if you’re a sauce person ask for extra. Very happy to have found this little place tucked in Santa Fe.

I took a out of town guest to Joe’s on Sunday for brunch. I must say I left disappointed. We ordered our breakfast at 10:45 and waited until 11:15 till it was brought to the table. The restaurant was about half full. Our meals tasted good but wouldn’t recommend going if you’re wanting prompt service

As usual, Joe’s Dining has once again surpassed our expectations of great food. Roland, the owner always comes by to check up on us and today he treated us to cherry rhubarb pie and cheesecake! Wonderful!

So disappointing… the fried chicken special was not only tasteless, it was very dry, like chewing on cardboard. The biscuit was visibly burnt and hard as a rock. When we told our waiter the chicken was dry he offered some gravy as an accompaniment. The gravy was really weird tasting so I just ate the dry chicken by itself. The waiter never checked back to see if the gravy solved the problem and didn’t seem concerned at all that everything was over cooked. I was excited to find a place near my home that used high quality ingredients but if the quality control is not there the ingredients don’t matter.

Food was ok but I’ve never had a server tell me $ 5.00 wasn’t a good enough tip? My food was less than $ 17.00 That’s more than 15%. I had p the sever run out after me and say«why did you only leave me five dollar’s I deserve more than that! Was my service not good enough? «I’ve never been so embarrassed. For him not me! I’ve been a waitress for 8 year’s and never have I done something like that. Even when I only got a dollar I would have been fired! I Will Never go there again.

Joes is ok, average café about describes the dining experience. I’ve been there several times. I ordered the pasta with three mushrooms and creamy sauce a couple of weeks ago. I was very pleased with the dish. It was perfect and my boyfriend was jealous that his meatloaf was just ordinary in comparison. We went back a couple of weeks later and this time we both ordered the pasta — much to our chagrin, it was nowhere near as good as the first time! I might give them one more chance.

So lucky to have this place a half a mile away from my house! The addition of Chef Russel Thornton has definitely made a positive impact on the menu and the artwork of Joe’s «dija know» restaurant news letter. I love the tax relief Joe’s provided this year. Hallelujah for burger week! The true sign of a great restaurant is consistency and cooking a burger to the proper temperature no matter how weeded the kitchen is. My medium burger was cooked perfectly. Not rushed and too pink and not at all overcooked. Perfect.

Since living in Santa Fe 13 years ago, this place is a nice addition to Rodeo Road. Joe’s has a nice menu(we went for breakfast) with good ingredients and friendly service. We were thrilled to see Wolfs bagels on the menu, for instance! We shared the blue corn piñon pancakes, which were delicious, and the food that came out for our party of 8 also looked great. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, which we appreciated. New Mexican food is a special thing and Joe’s is definitely worthy of a visit.

What I love about Joe is how down-to-earth and un-pretentious he is about food. Plain and simple. In Santa Fe, you have to be careful you will run into the most pretentious of chefs and restaurateurs around. In this case, what you see is what you get. For starters, Joe publishes a newsletter. Everything from his experience with high end supplements to help with longevity to how important it is where he gets his beef from. So you can always count on a good read if you don’t feel like surfing the web. WiFi is free by the way. Joe also has a small garden out front that they use when the season works out for it. I LOVE the diversity of the staff. Huge win for me. And the menu… EVERYTHINGISGOOD. And he really does have everything, we have ordered pizza to go, and had«talk about it all day long» breakfast there. Coffee is super YUM. The prices are high because the food is very good: almost all non-gmo, sourced from socially responsible farmers and local, healthy food supply chains. There is a cost associated with that. For the reviewer that says Joe should not be shopping at Sam’s club seems silly. I mean, Sam’s club has a lot of things a restaurant needs. Where should he get his napkins? His cleaning supplies? Some staples? iBuen provecho!

Good food, fun servers, interesting atmosphere, admirable ethos. This eatery is committed to locally raised items(slow food, some might call it), and high quality. The nice thing is that they produce some tasty dishes without breaking the bank. There are a lot of places that emulate the same concept, but are decidedly more pricey. I had the BBQ platter, which was good but nothing to crow about. Wife had the lamb burger on a gluten free bun. I liked hers more. Oh, and about that gluten thing, if you are into gluten free this is the place for you. They have a ton of GF options. Also, local beer on draft, hooray! Our server was fun and personable. Always nice to have someone that takes their job seriously, but isn’t too rigid. He made jokes, I liked that and it fit the casual ambiance of the place. Excellent dessert options. We tried the Strawberry-rhubarb pie, and I liked it. I’m partial to rhubarb. Also had an espresso truffle which I was so impressed with I ordered some to go to give as gifts.
