I am giving this 2 Stars solely on the reason of cleanliness. I came in with my friend around Midnight’s set down on the left side of the store ordered food and proceeded to get covered in ants. The food comes and even though the food is okay I’m still having ants crawl all over me. As me and my friend are halfway through our food he swats at my face and says look out look out, as I say what’s going on?. He says there’s a mosquito flying right in front of your face which I apparently I didn’t see. Even though the food is great I wouldn’t eat there because there’s so many bugs and I know you don’t want to be eating cockroach guts and ants while you’re eating and precious and dinner from such a fine Star Restaurant LOL

The last 4 out of 5 times we went here they’ve messed our order up. This time we got disgusting pot roast with, what tasted like store bought gravy, and hard mashed potatoes when what I ordered was a pot roast melt(which is a sandwich) with FRIES. My husband got the Philly steak melt… Which I’m not even sure how what they make is considered Philly cheese steak. It’s drowned in this pepper jack queso… Which is not very good at all. Is it too much to ask for real cheese? I’m don’t with this Denny’s. I don’t want to waste my money on food I don’t even end up eating anyway. Don’t waste your time at this location — you’re better off going further down Soledad to the next Denny’s.

I waited three hours and I never got my food. While people showed up hours after were happily eating. In my table of 11, 2 people’s food was correct. I hate to poll the race card, in fact I never do, but in this case it was very clear. I’ve never writen a bad review on Unilocal.The waiter laughed at our experience. Then lied about the manager not being there. The manager is a whole different story. I work for the BBB and I can easily say this is the worst experience I’ve had eating out. McDonald’s is 5 star compared to this Denny’s. I’m completely disappointed(mind you I wasn’t expecting to have service equal to the Ritz) and I can’t wait to return to work to have this written up. Unilocal needs the no star button. Please save yourself the trip.

If I could give negative stars I would. This was by far the worst customer service I have ever had. So every year we have a tradition of about 10 – 15 of us head to a Denny’s late night for a late Christmas dinner. This years was ruined. So we started out ordering he wouldn’t do a drink order alone. Waited til we ordered food and then took 20−30mins for us to get our drinks. My husband asked for a orange soda he brought him juice my husband asked if he could exchange for what he ordered. 20mins longer and still no drink, I had even reminded him. We did get one appetizer but it was burnt. At this point one dinner dish comes out, and 5 mins later another. One was freezing cold. Still no food for anyone else. About 20mins later two more dishes come out completely wrong, still no soda btw. I remind him again and we let him know the dinners were wrong. Once the drink comes the waiter rudely says«oh is this the right color soda…» So the rest of us are waiting for food and nothing… 3 more people get dinner about 25mins later and there are 4 of us still waiting. Waiter comes out and asked for our order again(did this twice) My burger finally comes out in a plate of grease and cold fries, my bun was soggy soaked in grease. I took two bites and done. Now a table that came in two hours after us is getting their food. At this point we are over it and ready to go, 2 people still no food! We ask for the manager and explain everything. He says ok I’ll comp it and when we start to leave he says no no no this isn’t how it works and tried to only take off $ 40 of a $ 150 bill. We argue and tell him how many plates got sent back and never eaten, how many didn’t get food. He argues as the waiter is standing there laughing. We circle the two dinners that came out ok and the one that came out but was cold and let him know that’s what we will pay for, he finally let us do that after threatening to call the cops even though we had never left! Do not ever eat here with your family, or even alone. I should also add this happened at the table next to us and one person got their food brought out as the table was up and leaving. The staff was incredibly rude and laughed at us for their mistakes. They are awful. So awful

Worst customer service ever, I have been ordering from phone from this Denny’s for about 1 year now and a new employee every other night she’s working is to lazy to take orders and says there is no ordering aloud after 10 pm and she gives us artistes and slams the phone on us always! And no orders after 10 pm is so false because we always place over the phone orders after 10 pm, even sometimes we place orders after 1 am! I will never again go to this Denny’s again I’m so disgusted with this ladies customer service!!! I will find out her name and I will post it! She does not deserve to work there

This Denny’s is the worst I’ve ever been in. I have been here for over 45 minutes and have not gotten a single refill on my coffee, my girlfriend didn’t get more water. We didn’t get the dipping sauces we asked for. And when a person in our party went to the manager on duty to ask for more coffee, they were told we needed to wait for our server… Who isn’t coming with more coffee. I’ve never wanted to skip out of paying my bill so bad.

I would give it a zero if I could. They begged for tips as soon as we walked in. Got really annoying with the service. Got my order wrong and my friends food wasn’t cooked properly. Very disrespectful and unacceptable service. I will never be going back and neither will anyone I know.

I ordered chicken Cesar salad. It was crunchy and better than last week’s ihop. The ambiance is the usual breakfast place, they have a certain Americana ambiance that is very cozy for the guests. Their selection is wide and offer kid’s and senior citizen meals, which I find it awesome. Veronica was our usual server and she is excellent. Today, our server was Christina and my husband complained that the server didn’t had the initiative to refill the coffee. These happened three times. She got the sundae wrong. We ordered strawberry ice cream with caramel and oreo bits and she got us a vanilla ice cream with strawberry fruit and whip cream. I had to ask her to get me the oreo bits. I could tell is agitated because my husband ask her too many times of the coffee and she one time ignored us.

This location refused to give me aluminum foil to wrap up my leftovers. When I asked the manager, Tony Hernandez, why this was a Denny’s policy, his response was because it could be used for something else. It took me a minute to understand what he was referring to. I then informed him, without yelling, without using profanity, and without threatening him in any way that it was unacceptable that he had implied I was a drug user. I asked the server who checked me out at the register to write down the manager’s name on my receipt, which she did, so that I could contact corporate about this matter, which I intend to do. My husband and I were mentioning to each other that I intended to share my displeasure with this experience on social media(on Twitter, here on Unilocal and by email to corporate), at which point the manager said, and I quote: «If I see you again, I’ll call the Sheriff.»

I went to a class at College of the Canyons. We had a lunch break, and I chose the local Denny’s. The service was terrible. I sat there for 15 minutes without getting any attention. I ordered water and coffee. That took another 5 minutes. I then ordered food which took another 15 minutes. My server spent most of the time talking and hugging the hostess. It was not until I was leaving that I receive a refill on my coffee. Then I went to pay. They didn’t have enough 1’s and fives. The person who gave me my change did not count back the change. The place seemed to lack organization, training and management. The staff seemed self-absorbed with few customer service skills. The reason for the three stars is the«food was excellent».

I only gave it one star, because I couldn’t give it zero. Had to wait an acceptable amount of time due to Memorial Day holiday crowd, but when we were seated, a large cockroach crawled across the lap of someone in my party. Immediately grossed out, so we walked out. Perhaps if they’re going to have roaches running around, they shouldn’t seat their customers near the kitchen. Ugh!!!

This was a really great Denny’s. We went in the middle of a huge rainstorm after taking my mom to the airport and they were luckily open anyways. So me and my dad ordered and it was no time at all before we had two fresh hot plates of food right in front of us. Everything was cooked perfectly the way we wanted and our drinks stayed filed too. It is really spacious and the waitress was really nice.

I“ve been to this denny’s a couple times but it’s been sub-par and actually my LEAST favorite dennys i’ve ever been to. The food was ok, but the waiter i’ve had EVERY time seems very disinterested and unpleasant. Some asian dude. Like, i get that you probably hate your job but at least ACT like you don’t haha. And also, at the end of the meal, EVERYTIME, he’ll ask you how much you’re leaving for a tip. WTF! I’ve never seen ANY waiter ANYWHERE do that before. My mind was literally blown lmfao i told him it was at the table because i was paying with debit card at the counter. It wasn’t at the table, you think i’m gonna tip someone who doesn’t give good service and then EXPECTS a tip. Sorry dude. And if anyone in management at this dennys is reading this, please let him know. He works the later shift(i’ve been there 9pm+) and tell him it’s not ok to demand tips from your customers. And it wasn’t even only once, it’s been every time.

I am never coming back to this Dennys. I cannot believe that this Denny can make any kind of business after my last experience here. The busser was our host, he was not dressed properly. Had a shity attitude and had no concern if he was doing his job right. The store manager took our order after noticing we were getting frustrated sitting there for 30 minutes. He didn’t write it down just repeated it after we told him what we wanted. The busser brought us our food. Of course it was completely wrong. He asked us if we still wanted it when we said no he let out of a sigh and rolled his eyes. Walked away, we decided to leave. We notice the busser never made it back to the kitchen he was to busy talking to the host. We told him Nevermind and walked out. Ridiculous. Get it together. The only reason I am giving them a one star rating is because I can’t leave it blank.

Denny’s has definitely come a long way. It used to be your typical after clubbing place to eat late night, to down right awful food, but they have turned things around. I ordered their mushroom burger and to my surprise it was thick and juicy and got all over the place! The service is attentive, no issues there. Pricing is average so no cost savings there. I say give them a shot if you need a quick meal, don’t want to deal with a noisy atmosphere or if you qualify for a senior citizens discount.

I seriously wondered if the food was plastic. I was drawn to denny’s today because i knew of their 2−4−8 dollar menu. I’m between gigs as a freelancer, so the fear of spending money got the better of me and i let my pocketbook decide where to grab some grub. I will give 2 stars because the staff was nice and the place was clean. but the food is just horrible. I have been apologizing to my body all day for giving it such crap. I got the chips with the three dips: salsa, queso, and spinach artichoke. well, the queso was more like chilli with some cheese in it, and the spinach artichoke was more like alfredo sauce with a few chunks of artichoke and a few small chopped up leaves of spinach. I also got biscuts and gravy… the gravy was sawmill(which i normally love) but the sausage in it was cut in squares(looked like chopped up hot dogs). gross. skip the preservatives and get some local cuisine, denny’s is not representing the chain restaurants well.
