If we go back, we will probably eat there. We live about a 5 minute drive away and by the time my husband came home, the fries and onion rings were cold and limp. He got the pastrami burger and said he enjoyed it. I got the Greek salad with gyro meat and I would use the term«gyro» loosely. The salad came with 5 large pieces of meat, but they were all the same size, shape, and even the grill marks were identical on all the pieces. They clearly weren’t freshly shaved, they must have come out of a bag or box. Mystery meat.

The burgers are awesome! Try that instead of the pastrami sandwich and I promise you won’t be disappointed

My whole family loves this place. We all have our favorite items that we order regularly. But when we venture and try something new it never disappoints. Our favorites include the grilled chicken salad, bean and cheese burrito, chicken taquitos, chili cheeseburger, teriyaki chicken sandwich, and anything on the breakfast menu. Everything is huge, so you can sharee a meal or take home your leftovers.

Very good spot to get a quick bite. Their breakfast burritos, salads, zucchinis, fries, and cheese burgers are delicious. You can’t complain about the price on the items. My wife and I usually visit this place at least 2 – 3 times a week. Employees are great with very good customer service.

Have been eating here since they opened. I use the drive thru mostly. My favorites are the pastrami sandwich(the best in this town), junior double cheese burger, bacon breakfast burrito(salsa’s are good too), grilled chicken salad(it’s big). Zucchini fries and onion rings are good but were very greasy(dripping) last time I was there. Ranch dressing was watery this time too. They have a suggestion sign in the drive thru that hasn’t been fixed for months and the place is starting to look a bit run down… not good. I haven’t had any trouble with service in the drive thru. Would have given them four stars but they seem to be slipping downward somewhat. I still do like them for a quick meal now and then. Hope I can add that star back soon.

5 stars for my good ol standby of Bacon Cheesburger with onion rings and soda. Its a bonus when I go with a family member and they get the fried zucchini as their side. Great food and a lot of it for very little price. Beware of the drivethru though, although its an amazi ng adventure!(really, just go in and place your order at the counter, you will thank me)

This place is very good. My daughter and I come here a lot. We usually call ahead of time to place our order and then pick up in 10 minutes. Order is always correct. Delicious food. Reasonable prices. Very large plates. Bacon breakfast burrito is very good. Customer service is great! Clean place. Highly recommend this place for all of you to try! AAA+++

I go to Everest almost every Saturday morning to have breakfast with my friend. The service is nice, the food is good, and the place is clean. The place starts to fill up around 8:30am-9:00am, but we’ve never had to wait for a table. The prices are just cheaper than average. They have a couple of tvs set up with the news going as well.

Pure Ignorance is the only thing that can be found at this place. After ordering two sandwiches, I asked for two combos. Apparently one sandwich was allowed to be included in a combo deal and the second sandwich was not??? Then upon paying, I was charged for an extra order of fries, so the person decides to simply tender cash allowing me to foot the difference on the tax. After explaining this to her, she had to pull her manager over because she couldn’t understand that what she did was wrong. Finally, after getting home to enjoy my meal, I open up my Turkey sandwich with advocado(which I paid extra for) only to find Chicken and NO avocado! The sandwich was chicken, lettuce, and tomatoes. It was super dry and made me wanting something else. Everest, you should change«American(Traditional)» to «American(Traditionally Bad Service)»

The portions are HUGE… which is a good thing because, hey… I am Big Mike… seriously, this is the place to go if you are hungry and don’t have much coin. A couple of tips. You can order the kids chicken strip combo for around $ 3.99 comes with two big pieces of fried chicken strips and fries, plus a drink(refillable) Don’t order the large zucchini fries unless you have six people to share them with, the regular is big enough for three people easy. The grilled chicken salad and Greek salad are big enough to share if you want, big bowl and you can order extra dressing without any charge. The lamb gyro is great and the pastrami overflows with meat. Everything is made to order. A really good place to go if you have a bunch of kids(I don’t, but see a lot of big families here).

Pretty great food considering prices and portions. Never need to order a large fry, it’s WAY too but unless you are sharing with a family of 4. I don’t like that they charge extra for ranch, but it’s not that big of deal. Their milkshakes are good, but on the expensive side.

I used to like this place. They have decent fish & chips. Not as good as the H & H fish(now closed), but somewhere along the line Everest lost their minds about price. $ 3.59 for a single taco? Are they crazy? The food is ok and its moderately clean. I’m not as big a fan and probably won’t be back as often.

Had checked out this menu on Unilocal before and so many things sound delicious so I finally tried it a few weeks ago. I got the double jr. cheeseburger and zucchini fries since I had seen many amazing comments about them. Everyone was right, the zucchini fries are awesome. The ranch they give was a little watery, but otherwise good. The burger was as good as anywhere else, but there are many more things on the menu I planned to test. Today, I am going with the pastrami dip(with zucchini fries of course!) I have to note that the service I experienced in the drive thru the first time was at about 8 at night and unbelievably horrible. Looked like the staff that night was mostly younger kids so I don’t know why I was surprised. They were very rude as I ordered and took about 10 minutes to give me my food. At the time I assumed that this was because they made it as you ordered like In N Out. I was wrong, I just went thru today and the service was MUCH quicker and they were definitely more polite. So, the pastrami was good. I had to add more mustard when I got home, but they definitely packed the meat in. If you’re looking for a great pastrami than try The Hat. I also got a chocolate shake… that tasted like a root beer float. If you like root beer floats than this probably wouldn’t bother you, but I do not. So that was $ 3.99 in the trash. Bummer. Had to rate 3 stars between my 2 visits since the good and bad qualities about this place cancel eachother out.

Not your typical DIET place(HAHA) but it is what it is. Whatever they serve is HUGE, ENORMOUS and GIGANTIC, flavors a great, I LOVELOVELOVE the fried mushrooms with the ranch sauce !!. I took my Modiano Design crew there after a job up in Canyon country and everyone loved it and even the biggest guys could not finish it all.

This is the place to go for satisfying, well-priced salads. I like the Grilled Chicken, Tuna Bowl and Greek Salads. Their salad dressings are very tasty, too. Tonight, I tried the Tostada Salad with Chicken and it was also very good – it had lots of grilled chicken, avocado, cheese, sour cream and pico de gallo. Salads of this quality would cost $ 11 – 14 at a sit down restaurant, deli or coffee shop while these run in the $ 6 – 8 range. I also like the French Toast and the Breakfast Burrito but, if you get the burrito, be prepared to have leftovers – it is large and filling. I have mostly experienced very friendly service, here, especially in the last year or so. This is my go-to when too hot or tired to cook.

You get exactly what you think you would here. Let me explain, if you think you’re getting a great burger, you’re wrong. But if you think you’re getting a burger that’s filling but not so great, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding! I came here thanks to my closest friend(Artunik) who use to have good taste buds back when he still lived in San Fernando Valley! Yes, I’m hating the SCV as always, this place and the people have just settled on bad food being good. It must be the«little Santa Clara River» water that’s causing people to hallucinate. Just like the river, where there is no river, the«everest» has no taste. I gave it 3 stars because at least they have friendly service and the place was clean. «just keepin’ it real» The Real Foodie

I heard Everest had great breakfast from a review I read in The Santa Clarita Gazette Magazine. Therefore, I thought I would come here for lunch and try the Pastrami Sandwich and Onion Rings. I ordered the Combo. There onion rings are probably the best I ever had in Santa Clarita. The Pastrami Sandwich was outstanding, and the bread the Pastrami was on was very fresh. Excellent. The only complaint I have, like Jimmy Deans — Overpriced. When you pay $ 12.72 for a Pastrami Combo, then there is something wrong. For a few dollars more, you can go to a sit down restaurant. That is the only reason why I am not giving them 5 stars. Enjoy — Wyatt E. Smith «Santa Clarita Food Advisor»
