I am regular here. More so for a Paratha and a Vada Paav. Makes my day! Great variety, tasty, very economical and healthy(not greasy), makes me come back here frequently. It’s rare to find good chaats around bay area, and unfortunately this place falls into that category too. Apart from«Delhi Chaat»(the food truck), I haven’t seen a single convincing chaat around the bay, and you may just settle down with whatever chaat dishes the restaurants throw at you. But, I am fan of their parathas rather than chaats, so it doesn’t bother me going back(soon). PS: Enjoy the non-chaat food, ignore the funnoying 90s music they play.

Had lunch at Radhe Chaat with a few friends today. The food was delicious, the wait staff was fairly attentive and the prices were reasonable. We tried the thali combo which came with two vegetables(day specials), moong pulses, Gujarati dal, rice, kheer, raita, pickles and papad. The vegetables and dal were absolutely yum. We also tried vada pav(must have), misal pav(decent), Hakka noodles(good), Manchurian(alright). The desserts we tried were gulab jamun(nice!) & sooji halwa(delicious!) Overall, the food was great by Indian restaurant standards, we will surely visit again. :)

Tried it recently, and the food quality wasn’t good. The chat wasn’t as tasty! Not sure what happened, this was one of my favorites :(

Great find for those of you want to try the real north-west Indian food. Pretty good vada pav with authentic bun and not a burger like many other bay area restaurants. The only improvement would be to add a little more chutney to make it moist but I still liked it. Sabudana tikki was deep fried which I am not a big fan but to great to see interesting variations on the menu and it did taste good.(not for the weight watchers through). Masala Puri with dry aloo bhaji reminded me of train journeys I would take with my grand parents in India. Was keen to try the Makki Ki Roti and sarson saag but next time. Service was pretty quick and polite as they changed my order last minute. The only thing that holds me from giving them 5 stars is the cleanlines in the back of the restaurant which was in plain sight and a bit smelly. Also please get the restrooms cleaned up. Price was very good too!

I would have given it a zero if I could. The food itself is fine but that is only when you are able to get food. Today was the second time this happened to us. We came in, were seated and handed the menus but no one came to take the order for 20 mins. It wasn’t rush hour and the place wasn’t even crowded. It looks like they don’t have any tracking mechanism for knowing the order in which the customers arrived. They took orders from people who came in after us. I pointed it out to the guy at the reception and he couldn’t say anything. He just kept looking at us with a blank face and didn’t even apologize. Not sure who is at fault here, whether it’s the waiters or the management staff who didn’t give adequate training but it was a bad experience and I’m surely not going back here at least in the near future and I will make sure to tell everyone I know.

Decent food. Tried vada pav, pani puri and paneer pakoda with chai and coffee. Food came in less than 10 mins which was a plus. Will come back to try more dishes.

Great value for money, simply cooked yet delicious vegan food. Radhe has great chats, tikki and other appetizers. The Bhel Thali is quite good, order it with a paratha. The entrée are good sized, you can share with others. Palak paneer, dal makahi, matter paneer are our favs. The serving of rice is also quite generous. Don’t expect fancy flavors, the food will remind you of home and is cooked without pretense. The service is commensurate with the prices they charge.

I have visited this place 2 – 3 times and loved it every time. I just love Garlic Naan and Malai Paneer here. For chaats, I liked dahi Sev batata puri and other chaat items too, but I didn’t enjoyed their Indo-Chinese items at all. Still considering its a chaat restaurant we can just avoid these Indo Chinese items here and go for other options, as they are really yum!!! I am a tea-holic(like alcoholic) and I had the best Tea here, so far the best in the bay area.

Friday Dec4th 2015 I would rather give ½ star if that’s possible. Not just that the food is average but the service horrible. We went in the restaurant and we’re waiting for about 30 mins just for the menu card. Nobody seemed to care. after 30 mins we asked the owner for the menu he disappeared for 10 mins and finally got us the menu card. when we were done deciding what to order we waited for another 15 mins for somebody to come to our table to take order. Believe me this is not exaggerated at all. nobody showed up and we finally decided to leave the restaurant after wasting our 45 freaking mins. Again nobody even cared that we left.

This is a nice place for chaats. Ambience and service are nice. Aaloo tikki, dahi papdi chaat, chole bathure, gobhi Manchurian and mango lassi are worth trying. Price is also reasonable

Cheats and bad service. Earlier they served Dal Bhati in a bigger plate but the last time I went the steel plate design had changed to accommodate less quantity. I also had a photo on my phone from my first visit, when I showed it to the owner that they had changed the plate to serve less food, he straight away denied even though I showed him a photo proof. I also had a goto order and told the waiter almost 4 times to not forget to add the garlic chutney, and wow he did disappoint me.

They are really bad at taking people’s orders. We have eaten here twice. And big the times we had to wait more than 10min just to give our order. The servers are very disorganized. Food is at best okay. Their dahi papdi chaat is my favorite. That’s above average!

Hmm this place is really interesting. I did not have Indian food for a long time and I must say the smell of the food reminded me of Singapore. Once I got my first taste of the food I was amazed that it brought back memories of myself in East Singapore. I really admire the ambience here. It’s not that noisy nor packed. For a moment when I entered the place it feels really homie and familiar. Service here is quick but not easy if you are not a regular Indian food eater. If you order the combo please eat it slowly because the portions are really huge. It’s also why I posted something as a drawback. It’s a good place to consider if all the other restaurants are full or exceed your price range. It’s really affordable here. Drawbacks: eat your breads or whatever it’s called wisely.

The service has improved considerably since my last review — good job Radhe Chaat! As a vegan, I eat only after verifying the ingredients. The servers try to check what is vegan and what is not, and skip the non– vegan items(sweet, curd, raita, ghee, butter roti) But they don’t usually follow through, and when the food actually lands on the table, it has everything you asked to be taken out. Sometimes, out of ignorance, and sometimes out of trying to be good hosts, they politely request you have the curd or at least the sweet. Dear servers, when we explicitly request for something to be a certain way, we actually want it that way, no matter how unconventional that may seem. A little awareness about vegan food would be appreciated. Other than that, this place has really good food, and I highly recommend the combo thali, and also the fried bhindi /karela. Hope to have a hassle-free vegan meal here someday!

I like their elaborate menu. Their food is slightly above average but for a fact that they have so many things on their menu, we keep going here more than often. They serve simple food. Things that I’ve liked here so far and can be tried — vada pav(brilliant), sarson da saag(the fact that they make it, is satisfying enough), hakka noodles and manchurian(decent). This place is definitely better than a lot other meh Indian restaurants around.

We go there every week for the past month or so, every time I have found the food tasty. It is definitely a value for money. Their chats are very tasty and jal jeera is good too. Main course had good options, but I seriously hope that they put some more salt to their curries, we have found them lacking salt most of the time.

Had a very bad experience, the waiter forgot to ring in my order, got my food after 50 minutes of ordering, when I tried to leave, they tried to convince me to sit down, but never apologized even for a minute. It was a very regular place, with average food taste. I wouldn’t recommend if you want to have a good meal

Meh. Nothing special about the food, nothing special about the service… Mediocre and meager I wish I could say more about this place, but on El Camino in this area there are so many other Indian places to choose from. I don’t see the need to visit again.
