Wanted an order to-go so gave these guys a call. I asked him if you guys sell the«pani puri mix». He said what I heard as «we cant mix it and give you». So I asked him if he can sell that to me separately. That’s when he got very rude and started shouting, so much that I needed to ask him to calm down and finally had to hang up. I believe what he wanted to say with his earlier reply was that he didnt have the mix at all, but if you dont communicate that clearly and get asked again, that isn’t grounds for anyone to get rude with the customer. With such customer service I’d think twice before going to this place. @Pani puri company: Please improve your courtesy, communication and patience with the customer. I won’t spoil your review for one bad apple, will still give you 3 stars.

It was a decent place. But not too goo. Pani puri on the stall was a good idea but I personally though that taste was just ok.

Poor quality, poor taste, no credit card machine. Sorry to say that a business in Santa Clara with a customer facing store is poor in service. I was given a packet of item that was put in a small plastic bag, the bag tore because it was too small and 1 bag fell, lot of pieces were broken, a good customer service person would change the bag and fix it at their store and then sell, I was given the same packet and although it does not change the taste, it does change the feel. All this feedback if taken positively can help this store.

The puris(50 pieces for $ 6) and papdis(50 pieces for $ 5) taste just perfect. Forget buying them from cash and carry or any any indian grocery store. Get them home, prepare fresh chutneys and enjoy the chat!

Their puri is top notch… Its difficult to find such good quality puri in India as well… Forget about bay area. 50 puri 6 dollar is a dollar more than popular brands in indian grocery stores but its definitely worth it. Their pani is too sweet so definitely no no from my side. But again go for their puri. It looks like a small indian family owned joint so dont expect friendly and professional customer service :). Also note. cache and check only. only Togo.

For some reason, I was expecting this place to be a fully built out pani puri joint where people can enjoy affordable pani puri served to you. Nope. This is more of a supplier location where you can get the pani puri shells and the pre-made mix to go home and make it yourself. That said, I can say that it definitely seems cheaper than if you buy the ingredients at normal Indian stores. This location is basically a small room/closet with bags of pani puri and some other selected Indian snacks. Also, their hours are weird. They are only open until noon on weekends. I don’t know why but I would think they would get more business if they are open longer? But I also don’t know how many people actually would drop by to just get the pani puri supplies, since it’s not an eatery.

This is a wholesale supplier of pani puris. Apart from millions of pani puris, they also sell wet mix for jal jeera, a couple of namkeens(mixtures) and some sweets. So definitely not a place where you can go have pani puris. However, if you want to make your own masala at home, you can buy perfectly crisp pani puris and jaljeera paste from here. Much better than anything you get at restaurants or umpteen Indian stores.

Amazing place for fresh, quality, reasonably priced puris for pani puri. Their sev mix & bhel mix are also amazing. They also make spongy, moist dhoklas, but you need to order ahead, though you might be able to get small quantity if you walk up and they have some available. Everything is fresh, and when they sell out, they sell out. I’ve bought some sweets here too, a bit pricey but quite tasty. The only item I wouldn’t buy again is the Pani puri paste — not tangy/spicy enough for me. Hours are limited, plan accordingly.

If you are from India, you will be craving for some good chat puri’s. well, once you reach Pani Puri company, your search will end . Its a small place run by a family business, they sell chat puri’s, sev and pani puri masalas. They are famous for their paani puri’s — which are perfectly shaped each time. Their pricing is also cheap, 12 $ for 100 puri’s which is a steal! Also lesser known is their sev, which is equally tasty and a must-try. I fell in love with their sev when i got it last time just to try it out. Will definitely go back and buy a bigger pack next time :) They also sell paani puri paste, but i didnt like it that much. its not spicy enough and feels watery even when i added less water. You can get much better paani puri masala by MDH or kitchen king from Indian stores.

This has the best puris for pani puri. It’s very fresh, after eating here we never want to get back to buying puris from Indian stores. You can taste the freshness, also the puris are never broken unlike the store bought ones. Though it’s named pani puri company, they sell a bunch of other things. Their bhel puri mix is another favorite, the bhel puri is better than any chaat place can sell in bay area. You can’t believe that you can make such good bhel puri at home. I have tried their sev and pani puri masala. The pani puri masala was a little sweet to my taste(I need it spicy), so had to modify it a bit to make it spicy.

Very nice and crispy puris. It costed 6 $ for 50 puris which is very reasonable for their quality. None of the puris sold were broken. And none of them leaked while eating too. Close to perfect pani puris !

I know good pani puri when I taste it, and these guys do it right. This isnt a restaurant, its a shop with eccentric hours that will sell you the puris(fried puffed crusts that you fill with pani), and pani mix(spiced diluted chutney). They make great snacks for parties, assuming your guests can handle the spice. They make their puris in a custom machine and supply most of the indian restaurants in the area, and sell in bulk. Call ahead to find out hours if you do want to buy.

This pani puri company has the best’est’ pani puri in the bay area.(I have had pani puri at chaat places and made pain puri at home with pain puri company puriesss). The ready mix pani does taste good! The pani puri is priced way better than ready packages in the indian store. They have been consistent since last 4 years for sure! They accept cash only.
