We went in with a lot of expectations having heard a lot of praise about this place. Sadly, both the chicken and egg biriyani we ordered were a disappointment. the rice was dry and quite bland. Even the aroma was very subtle for. a biriyani. I would recommend other restaurants nearby for biriyani cravings.

This is my favorite biryanis in Silicon Valley: 1) paradise biryani point(The best chicken and goat biryani in Silicon Valley) 2) Hyderabad dum biryani(Vijayawada chicken and goat biryani. Chicken biryani was little dry last few times) 3) Ulavacharu(chicken biryani) 4) Biryaniz

Excellent Briyani and tasty North Indian food. Love visiting this place. The food quantity is quite a lot for a single person. The people run the place are courteous and food is served shortly after the order is placed. One challenge we often face is the parking lot which is difficult to get most of the time.

Rude very rude! I was only requesting if it is possible to put drumsticks instead of other pieces the counter person tried explaining as if I am begging. When I politely said you can be little polite he started arguing! Then when it came to picking again very rudely I was asked if I have paid! I have been here several times they were always rude but I was giving benefit of doubt but not this time it’s OVER!!!

Really good Indian food. Prices are very affordable. We got the chicken 65 and it was pretty spicy compared to other Indian restaurants but still delicious.

The Biryani here lacks Quality, there are other places least know to people in bay area who make excellent Biryani, i am a true HYDI and the Biryani Eeeek Me Say No.

Good place for good Biryani. Quantity wise it is very good. Could not finish entire serving of Biryani. Taste of Biryani was not the super awesome but it was good. Service is pretty fast even new year’s eve. Ambience of restaurant cab be improved largely.

Got a new year gift for my Chicken Biryani Take out Order i.e. a small glass piece in the food. Thank God I was eating with hand and before eating i heard the sound of it getting rubbed to my porcelain plate… I will never eat food at this place again as i have not yet developed the digestive system which can digest glass pieces in food. Sincerely hope that they maintain a healthy kitchen to avoid such incidents. What if i was just eating with spoon or that biryani was eaten by my daughter as she does not see all this but just swallow the food…

My favorite Indian restaurant in the Bay Area. Their goat biryani is a must order for me. I also tried their butter chicken and other chicken and shrimp dish, and they all are amazingly good!

For Bay area standard the taste of the food was not good and they lack the consistency to produce the same taste in food every time. I had been here once and the biryani tasted good, second time i took my husband and went there and the chicken biryani didnt taste good at all. Same was the case with the chicken manchurian we ordered. There was not enough spices in it and low on salt. Over all taste was not satisfactory. Ambiance is okay but the service is very pleasant.

Love their Veg Biryani! I’ve been to this place innumerable times and they’ve NEVER disappointed! Service is sometimes great, sometimes a little slow. However, they are always very well mannered and courteous.

Best Biryani in Bay Area! My favorite till date. I highly recommend this place. If you like spicy food. This is where you want to be. Excellent customer service. Enough parking outside. I am going to this place from past 5 years now and they still maintain the quality. It takes longer to get food for carryout, its a crowded place. Try giving like 40 min and show up.

To go order today. Review is solely for service. Ordered goat biryani to go. The man on the phone sounded so rude. He cut the line while I was speaking. The review doesn’t count the food. The biryani is usually great. I just picked it up and it smells awesome

I used to come here for biryani, almost every Friday. Yes, I agree it has good biryani — but their customer service sucks. After several times, I still couldn’t figure out why people taking orders(I guess two women will take orders always) are so rude. If you are busy and there are so many calls, just hire more people to take orders. Don’t treat your customers bad. As of today they lost a customer. PS: If you don’t mind arrogant people doing service to you, this can be a good place for biryani.

This is the first place we think of when we want to eat briyani. And if not for every week atleast 2 weekends in a month we get to go or eat there. When we went last time we are so hungry and tired, and searching for good food reached there. Restaurant is free maybe bcz it’s Saturday or bcz we are early around 8 pm. Ordered 2 mango lassi, gobi 65, veg briyani, chicken briyani and mutton briyani. Mango lassi was very sour, tasted like 2 days old. Gobi 65 doesn’t feel like 65. Some places had lemon and spicy. We eat spicy but this is not good spicy. You don’t feel any other taste. Veg briyani just had chilli powder and vegetables and no salt. We asked for replacement and they just added salt and gave it as fresh. Mutton briyani and Chicken briyani. Same rice is used in all the briyanis which happens in every restaurant but the top is basmati rice and whatever cooked inside is different and mashed/over cooked. Not able to get any taste. I talked to the manager while coming out and he said the lassi was made at noon and kept in fridge. Even that’s acceptable but it doesn’t feel that fresh or any of the food doesn’t even get into better pace. Not sure whether the chef is new or management is different. And I said earlier we eat atleast 2 weeks once here and this is the worst ever food we had this time. Giving 2 stars bcz of the earlier best briyanis we had.

Visited Paradise Biriyani Pointe along with my husband for dinner today. It was my 1st experience and 2nd for my husband. Both of us liked their Ambience. It was good with decent parking. Read Unilocal reviews before hand & was pepped up to have a delicious treat on a Friday evening. We tried their vegetarian dishes & our favorites from today’s dinner were, Gobi Manchurian — it was yummy & tasted really great, Malai Kofta — very rich & creamy & Garlic Naan — soft & flavorful, we are in fact having such a tasty Naan after a long time. Here comes tonight’s average ones, we had Mixed veg dum biriyani which tasted good & fresh but not exceptional by any means. We had high expectations on seeing Unilocal reviews about it but honestly we have had better ones in other places. Had Mango Lassi also. It was again ain’t that impressive either, ok types only. Staff were attentive & their service was efficient. I still recommend this place as their Veg cuisine is definitely good & fresh with thumbs up for all other factors. May be their Non-Veg items especially Non-Veg Biriyanis are even better.

Been craving biryani and found this restaurant through Unilocal where they serve the goat dum biryani. Ordered the chicken curry, goat dum biryani and garlic naan. Both the curry and biryani had great, distinct flavors and a pretty nice spicy kick. The garlic naan was also fragrant and tasty. As patrons started to queue up outside the staff started to come around more often picking up plates and asking if we needed anything else. They were hinting that it was time for us to pack up and leave. I guess that always leave a bad taste in the mouth at the end no matter how subtle it is. It would never fly in Europe. I would give the food 5-stars but the service knocked it down a notch. Well, so we left and went across the street to the Big Mug Coffee Roaster which is the review that follows.
