Brittany Augustine at Studio S is super awesome! I am not brave when it comes to haircuts but she was able to suggest something that was a *little* tweak from my former haircut, but it ended up totally changing the way my hair frames my face and I have gotten so many compliments! She is also just super sweet and I really appreciate her upbeat energy. Thanks Brittany!

Selina saved my wedding day. Another local salon lost my hair and make up appointments for my wedding day. I was beside myself. Selina went above and beyond to get me, my mom and sister in. She took me from distressed bride to be to princess bride. Thank you so much for the excellent service! I have never felt so beautiful than I did on my wedding day!

I went in for a shampoo and blowout and it turned out to be the very best blowout experience ever. Brittany was so warm and nice, she really took her time to curl my hair with such patience. She even gave me a vintage style bang which looked totally awesome! I highly highly recommend Brittany!

I purchased a Groupon and had my hair cut by Brittany. I am really happy with my haircut. It has been hard for me to find a good hair stylist in Santa Barbara so I am really pleased that I found Brittany. She did a great job at cutting my side bangs. She mentioned that she is a perfectionist and I think that’s why she gives such great cuts. She took her time and made sure to cut face framing layers, checking in with me as she went. She actually listened to me about not wanting a lot of layers in the back. Stylists usually try to talk me out of my preference and I always regret it, but Brittany didn’t. She was very nice and friendly without asking too many nosy questions like some other stylists tend to do. The only negative is that next to Brittany I felt ugly because she is so pretty. I will definitely be making my next hair appointment with Brittany at Studio S!

Ask for Barbara! She did both a keratin treatment and a partial highlight for me and was an absolute pleasure to talk to even through a very long process! She took the time to explain what she was doing every step of the way and show me how the dye was working, and made sure to take into account the health of my hair (since I’m a natural brunette and now wear my hair very blonde!) The results are fantastic– thank you, Barbara!

Brittany is the sweetest and most awesome hairdresser! She will fill all your needs and have you leaving with the most amazing cut. So happy I ended up here! Definitely will be coming back for all my salon services!

I have been here a couple of time with all great experiences, but the last time I came wasn’t a great experience. My daughter was booked for a hair cut appointment. After waiting for about 25 mins, the hair stylist tells me that my daughter has too much hair and she won’t be able to work with her Bc she has another client in 20 mins. too reschedule for another day with longer time slot. It was so humiliating. I will never come back to this place.

Brittany is an excellent hair stylist, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a haircut or other services in Santa Barbara. Having tried several local hair salons, my experience has been that Studio S is better organized and better managed. Brittany comes from a long line of hairstylists, and she is very committed to her career and her clients. She has done a great job cutting my hair. She is friendly and has a great attitude. Her pricing has been extremely competitive, especially for the amount of time she spends with her clients.

Crystal does a killer spray tan, every single time. I was a little caught off guard the first time because she works so quickly (in and out in less 5 minutes) but her speed in no way compromises the quality of her work. It’s always even and perfectly blends into feet and hands. And the color looks extremely natural. I’ll be back!

Alexis is awesome! I’ve had her and a few others style my hair many times over the years and I leave beyond happy every time. Alexis is my first choice because she always knows exactly what I want even when I might not completely know! All the stylists are very sweet and professional. Totally worth the price because I always LOVE my hair. Strongly suggest going to studio s!

By far the worst spray tan I’ve ever had. I had to go home and wash it all off because it was so patchy ugh such a bummer and waste of money

I have been searching for a stylist since I moved in July and I’m glad to say that I have finally found her. I did a walk in and Selena was able to take me before her other client came in. & she gave me the color I’ve been wanting for a very long time. She’s the best & I’m kicking myself because my husband works across the street and I’ve been walking by the salon a lot. I would highly recommend her. And next on my list are extensions.

Alexis is AMAZING! When I came in everyone was super nice and they offered me something to drink/​eat and made me feel really comfortable. Alexis is so sweet and professional. I have a lot of thick hair and it’s usually really difficult to work with. However, when I came in she knew exactly what I was looking for and how to do it with my hair type. She did ombré highlights, cur and style for me and it looked beyond awesome. She is probably the best hair dresser I have ever had. She did an excellent job and I will definitely be coming back!

I came to this salon with a scattered plan of purple hair. I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted but the receptionist introduced me to the color expert Selena. We got to talking and finally agreed on a fun amount of purple. We had to dye it twice but she had no problem with that, all she wanted was for my hair to make me happy. I have really long hair and she cut and colored it all for a VERY affordable price. I would highly recommend Selena and this friendly little place if you’re looking for a new salon.

Selena is great! I didn’t want a lot of length off my hair but i still needed a trim to start getting my hair more healthy! She did a really good job and on top of that recommended products for me to use because my hair is curly and dry. I love the way she blow dried my hair and gave me really good tips. I love knowledgeable hair stylist that are willing to help a sister out with their unruly hair like mine.
I love the salon as well, its really cute and in a easy area to get too!

Selena is the best. I tried a new hair person in LA and needless to say my hair needed a little help so while vacationing in Santa Barbara I found Selena. She color corrected my hair and even made some great recommendations for products that would help my hair.
She took the brassiness out of my hair and got me back to my sun kissed blonde/​brown.
Most importantly, she did a killer job so quickly! She definitely knows what she’s doing, if only i could ship her to LA!

Brittany is so wonderful! I purchased a groupon for a haircut, highlights, and blowout and she did an amazing job on all three. She’s super sweet, friendly, and fun to talk to. She listened to what I wanted and was always asking what I thought, yet she seemed to know exactly what would look good and she was right! Honey highlights for me– they look really natural, yet they added the slight change I was looking for. Also, my hair is wavy/​curly and just above shoulder length. I used to have an a-​line cut that I’m growing out and I think with all of these combined my hair is not the easiest to give a badass trim to, but Brittany did.
I am moving to Santa Cruz in a few months, but I know I will be sure to schedule an appointment with Brittany every time I come back down to SB.

Alexis is a fantastic hair stylist! She always does a great job, whether it’s color, cut or style.

Studio S is absolutely perfect. Alexis, the owner, is the sweetest person on the planet & does an amazing job on my hair every time whether it’s just a trim or taking 12 inches off. They always offer you tea, water, etc. as soon as you walk in, and the entire staff is just so wonderful & talented.
Crystal does amazing, painless, long-​lasting waxes. Her eyebrows & brazillians are fantastic.
I’m 110% loyal to Studio S. They treat you like family & are the best in SB.
