This place makes you have a good time… A friend recommended this bar/club for my friend and I to go to when we went to SB because we wanted to experience SB’s nightlife. We got there around 9:30pm, and it wasn’t crowded yet… so we got a good spot at the bar and ordered a drink… the drinks are decently priced… beers around 6 – 7 bucks, mixed drinks about 9 bucks. The bar tender even gave my friend a free drink! Awesome! The dancefloor didn’t have people dancing on it until about 10:30pm, but from then on people were having fun! There were some guys that all they wanted to do was rub up against you… but that’s to be expected. When my friend and I got tired of dancing, we went up to the 2nd floor where they have private lounge areas, which was sweet… it gives you time to cool down before you head back to your hotel. They have a bar on the 2nd floor too if you want more to drink. Overall, we had a fun night… and I think everyone should stop by this bar when they’re in SB.

We had a fun time playing pool and eating California rolls at Q’s. When we go down to Santa Barbara we spend alot of time eating, drinking, and walking the town. This place gave us another option(playing pool). Unfortunately when we were down in March we missed it but look forward to visiting again next time.

Okay when I first started going here every thurs and some other nights I would have given it a 4 – 5 but now a 3. 1. Bars: A definite plus! They have 4 bars total. One on each floor and one outside. The drinks are nice and stiff, make friends with the bartenders and they give you discounts. All are super nice. The drinks are pretty average, about $ 5 – 10. I like the seven and sevens, the black label and cokes, the midori sours, washington apple shots, long islands etc etc. 2. Dance floor way too small for how many ppl come here, no matter the night. But mostly Thursdays and Saturdays. It just gets crowded and you have ppl glaring at you and not dancing but they’re on the dance floor. Uhhhh don’t get that. 3. Crowd: It has a mix, but definitely some older guys will come here on Thurs. college night to hit on the youngins. However, you can always get a free drink! LOL Definite older crowd on other nights. And 80’s night Tuesdays. Just be careful of the creepers ladies, they are there watching you! HA! no joke! In the beginning I definitely had tons of fun meeting new people and seeing all my friends from SB but now they have 18+ on Thursday nights. NOTHANKS! Its not like its not crowded enough! I’ll have to admit how much trouble I got in when I go here! The drinks and just everything combined you can’t help but get all crazy! 4. First Floor: There are seating outside in a smoking patio, a bar. Theres seating inside on the sides of the bar, tables, huge bar and dance floor, bathroom. The basics. 5. Second Floor: Small, VIP sectioned off, a tiny bar, bathroom, can ppl watch down below which is fun sometimes. No seating unless in «VIP» area. 6. Third Floor: Pool tables galore. They have about 5 I think. They also have another bar, a bathroom and really comfy couches that I would sleep on. :D Fair warning if you’re about to crash don’t sit there b/c you won’t get up. LOL This holds a place in my heart b/c I’ve had so many crazy memories here. However, I just do not like the changes I have seen. i.e. 18+ and the mere fact that I got over the dance floor. Too crowded that it pushed me away. :( O and for those who get SUPER drunk and can’t walk, be forewarned they will kick you out! :D aka my housemate LOL

by the time id roll into this bitch yes its a bitch – its hot and sweaty and likes to dance id already be blacked out so what better than when youre shit-your-pants drunk than THREESTORIES of untold debauchery and lecherousness? the women that come here dont usually require liquor to make them look good also id go for the long islands here cus nobody likes to plateau and you could prolly cop a feel at a place like this and get away with it not that i would ever do anything like that im just saying

I started going to Q’s in college, I absolutely love this place, and have extremely hazy, but fond memories of it! 80’s night on Tuesday’s is the best night of the week if you like beautiful women, stiff drinks and 80’s jams. Thursday nights is another good crowd, its mostly college students. The weekends can be good, but like most bars it can be hit or miss. Sometimes it gets a club-oxnard feel to it, which is not really fun.

i LOVE this bar. If I could give it more stars I would! I can’t describe all my countless nights there. I agree though, it’s really not a Friday nightclub, but you can’t deny how amazing the bar is on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday(in that order). 80s night is amazing and I have been to many other spots and NOTHING comes close. The bartenders are amazing and they get it; if you hook customers up they keep on coming back! Even as slammed as they get, they are still very attentive and you can get a drink in reasonable time. The set up is pretty cool, three levels and an outdoor patio so it really has a place for everyone. First floor for the drinkers and dancers, second floor for the creepy guys staring at girls dancing and people making out, third floor for the pool sharks and chillers and outside for the drunk chain smokers. You can’t ask for a better place for all types of party-goers. I left Santa Barbara over a year ago, and the bouncers and bartenders still remember me; really gives me the Cheers vibe :). I’ve never eaten the sushi there and will never have the desire to. Girls’ dirty partying shoes have been on that; how can customers eat raw fish there to? Bathroom is a little gross at night, but I blame that more on the drunk idiots than the bar itself.

I like how this club has three floors with a bar on every one of them. The first floor is for dancing. The second floor is for those people who want to just scope out the crowd on the first floor, because it’s more like a balcony. The third floor has billiards and couches, which is nice for those people who come with their friends, but don’t want to dance and just want to chill. Oh yeah and there is a bar out on the first floor patio for you smokers or people who need to breathe from all that stank and sweatiness from the dance floor. It’s not my favorite club in Santa Barbara, but my friends and I would come here a lot, because most of the time there was no cover. The most fun I had here was on a Tuesday night, and it was«Eighties Night». Sooo fun. The only reason I can’t give it anymore than three stars is because I hate how the dance floor gets super packed and sweaty, so I end up elbowing bitches as I dance. And why is that everytime I come here, there is always a different skeevy forty year old man grinding on poor innocent girls. But other than that, I do recommend checking the place out, it can be fun.

This place is a scene. You will bump into someone and spill your drink on you hand — they won’t mind though. Someone will start freaking you from behind on the dance floor — but she’ll probably be cute. You will have to wait in line for the bathroom — but so what? If you came to meet people and get your groove on, what did you expect? The DJ’s know how to spin, everyone dances, and there is always a great vibe. Q’s is even a good spot to shoot some pool and the food is actually pretty good. For all you haters that don’t like to dance… go to the Sportsman on Figueroa.

Okay this place is pretty wack. It looks like a wannabe Hollywood spot. Friday night and completely dead. Three floors of no one partying. Three floors of no one dancing. Three floors of no one drinking. Ha~! Except for me and my girls. Anyway, what a waste of space. But I found out why it was dead. Because they charge $ 12 for a shot of Patron. Wack. I know it doesn’t seem that expensive to us L.A. folks but when you just came from a bar, The Neighborhood to be exact, and got 4 drinks for $ 16…this place is a rip off. Boooooo~!!

Eh. Outside patio was cool. Interesting only because it had three floors. Conspicuous stimulant drug usage everywhere, which made it seem kind of trashy. Bottom floor bathroom always full, top bathroom always open. Bouncer gave me so much drama because I wasn’t wearing makeup in my ID picture & I was wearing night makeup to the club. Ew. Who wears night makeup do their DMV photo? Bartender did give my friend a free drink. People DO try to rub up on you on the Dance floor. DJ spun ok tracks. Also, there is a step in the middle of the dance floor. Please be careful. Almost slipped and fell on my bum.

5 stars if you are between 18 – 21. 1 star if you are over 21. 3 stars is the compromise. It’s all the kind of skeevy, strong drink fun with nasty dancing that you could ever want as a college student, but if you are beyond that… it’s skeevy with bad-tasting drinks and nasty dancing from horny little boys.

Updaaaaate! An additional Star for the following reasons, yay! 1) DJ Zeke and DJ Jerry are always rockin’ the house with the latest beats. And they will always stop to hug and kiss you. Especially if you’re crowding the booth and screaming at them. 2) The bartenders still know how to make awesome LCs, Long Island Teas and 7&7s. So awesome, you might accidentally tip one of them $ 17 for three drinks in your drunken stupor. 3) The couches on the third floor are extremely comfortable. So comfortable, that one can easily pass out,. before midnight. 4) The bouncers are kind enough to «ask people to leave.» And yes, there is a difference between that, and being kicked out. 5) There is a quick getaway to the back parking lot through the patio. But be aware of the cracks in the pavement. You just might fall and bust both your knees, only to find yourself bleeding in the backseat of your friend’s car. And no, all of that wasn’t me by the way. Okay fine,. it was me. But at least we all made great memories for my brother, Steve H.‘s 28th birthday! Unfortunately, I can’t remember any of them.

Ehh.. .not at all what I was expecting. The set up was cool. It has 3 levels all of which has a bar. The first floor has a small dance floor, the second overlooks the first and there is a VIP section. The third floor has a pool table. The dance floor was crowded and the crowd was kind of ehhh. There were as the previous reviewer said A LOT of creepers with one in particular coming to mind: pale eyes, pale hair, pale skin and dressed all in black just staring at everyone in our group and trying to dance with people from behind, guys & girls alike. The music was alright and the third floor with the pool tables was chill and nice. Our group of friends made the most of it and had fun together on the dance floor, but next time we come to Santa Barbara I doubt we’re coming here again.

The dance floor is too crowded and there’s always creepers around, whether they’re being agressive and trying to dance with you from behind or standing around staring. I don’t mind the third floor where the pool tables are. Much more chill. I love cheesy 80’s music though, so I’d still go on a Tuesday!

First, the goodies: –Good Bar. Proactive bartenders and just the set up. I mean, it’s cool they have all the water cups filled. ready for the drunkies to just grab. They also have sliced limes and lemons readily accessible so you can easily acidify your drinks. Drinks prices are $-$$: $ 5 for a cold Corona, $ 6 – 7 for AMFs, $ 6 – 7 for glasses of beer. –Set up is cool. First floor, general dance floor. Second floor, VIP. 3rd floor, pool tables. It’s got some diversity(for activities). The VIP section did look at bit small though… but I wasn’t there last night, so that’s not my problem. –Good mix of crowd. I saw some typical So Cal crowd. but there were some Hermanos(as) and Brothas(and sistas). I thought I would feel like I was back in West Hartford, Connecticut! It’s got diversity… so :clap clap: for that. Now.the non-goodies –Dance floor. too small for me. If I didn’t care about the size of the VIP section, I care much about the tiny-ness of their dance floor. It was just too small. I couldn’t work my footworks and if I did I’d be kicking the gal the next to me. I mean, I didn’t have any(footworks).I’m saying, what if I did! –The go-go dancers. I mean. really now? Cheap. Cheap. Cheap. People hardly paid any attention to them. But hey, they keep 2 other gals employed! I guess that’s the plus side of it. –Music: Too mainstream. If you’re from the Bay Area, or used to the Bay Area bumpiness and just pure hip-hop mixes(less Rhianna [sp?] and more Efofooty), then stay away. But then again, if you like those kinds of stuff… perhaps Santa Barbara isn’t the place for you. –Crowd. Typical Southern Californians. Enough said. I’ll give it 2 stars for the efficacious bartenders, sliced lemons, and filled cups of water – these helped the sober and also aided the intoxicated.

Tuesday night place to go. 80s night. Lots of people, lots of crazy girls dancing, a general fun time, check out the outdoors lounge out back, since its the only place you can easily talk to people(and then drag them out to the dance floor indoors when you need to do more than just talk). Its kind of a small area in the back, but the dance floor area is huge, and there’s also a big pool table area, on the top floor… hence the name. :)

This place has potential– really it does. But this place is not for me. First off I’m way too old to be in a place like this. If I was in my younger 20’s, fine– but I still have always hated places like this. Stupid VIP sections(Michael Jordan was there the night I was present), meat market culture, stupid wanna be gang bangers trying to pick fights, a few friendly drunks, and pretention that is only acceptable in big city VIP clubs. I did have fun with my friends, but I could have fun just about anywhere given enough resources. I did like the design of the club, and that is the only reason for the stars. The red velvet pool tables are found on the third floor. Floor 2 is where the VIP section is and a small wet bar. Floor 1 is where to be seen and has a nice full bar and mirrors where narcissists can check their cleavage and makeup, or wipe the blow from their nose. This place has potential, but it needs an owner/management overhaul before it’s going to become anything above a 3 star place. My recommendation is to play billards and avoid everything but the beer. I don’t even think they serve sushi here, unless«sushi» is a team name for the 2 stage-elevated go go girls that flank either side of the dance floor.

5 stars for 80s night on Tuesday! 4 stars for the weekend. We were def part of the older crowd(meaning we had graduated a least one year ago) on at any given day but that didn’t matter. Loved the big dance floor and the people watching from the 2nd floor. That’s where I was introduced to the whole ‘grinding’ thingy. god was that hilarious to watch!!! Just for that I have to give it an overall rating of 5 stars :)

Big fun club with attractive clientele, plush décor, and good music. I hear 80s night(tuesdays) are even more fun. Downsides: while the club is really big(3 floors plus outdoor patio) the dance floor is too small & crowding makes it no fun to dance sometimes; easy to lose your entourage in the nooks and crannies of this place; last time i was there my shot had broken glass in it that cut my lip — watch out! UPDATE: 80s night is a lot of fun but I have stopped going to this bar as I got tired of being groped. Watch out for pervs!
