I don’t have time to write a long review… just don’t go. I could literally buy this type of sushi in a grocery store back home in San Antonio Texas. Pretty disappointed… I’m from Cali… born and raised and thought they would bring it much harder then this… just bland

Really great lunch spot with lots of outdoor patio seating. The spider roll is definitely my favorite.

Really annoyed. I ordered 3 rolls, two of them were the«sweet heart«rolls. I ordered based off of the sushi Terri Santa Barbara bath st menu, online, it does not have prices but the roll looked really good. The menu says it was spicy tuna, avocado, cream cheese and spicy mayo /tenpura flakes. What I got in the box was a roll with shrimp and cream cheese and maybe avocado. I cannot eat shellfish so it went straight in the trash and $ 24 wasted. Double order, the roll was $ 12. It was not worth it for me to drive it back across town but I am super unhappy. Ps the third roll wasn’t good Update your menu to be at least slightly accurate Add prices online

Perfect place to sit outside on a sunny Santa Barbara day! I absolutely love their Omega III roll. The service is quick and polite, great to get in and out for lunch.

I got to Sushi Teri around 5:45 and placed my order to go because my son was sick at home. I asked the woman if it would be OK for me to sit at one of the small tables rather than at the bar and she said it was fine. After 30 minutes of waiting, the place was bustling with traffic. My order still hadn’t arrived but I was asked to leave the table. I told the waitress that I’d asked permission but she responded with, «Well now we are busy.» I had go sit at the bar, which I hate because I’m short. She immediately sat two people at my former seat. I thought it was pretty rude considering how long I’d waited, I’d paid over $ 50, and there were still empty tables inside and even more outside. I opened« Unilocal» and then all of a sudden my meal was ready. Go figure. Overall, the food was good. Salmon with rice combo is one of my «go to meals». My son loves the miso soup. I tried the Bath Street roll but the octopus didn’t taste fresh and there was too much cream cheese to make it enjoyable. The eel roll was just right but their California Rolls are pretty small. I’m giving a 3 because I was so offended by the way I was asked to move, not the kindest nor thoughtful way to open up a table. Next time, I’ll call ahead.

This is usually my go-to place, but recently, I’ve been fairly unimpressed. Their service could be a lot better– the servers forget a lot of stuff. I also called twice to make reservations for a large party and when I got there, they proceeded to tell me they don’t take reservations and questioned if I called the Sushi Teri on Calle Real. It was just a little disrespectful in my opinion. I’ll give them two stars because I enjoy their food for the most part.

Good local sushi place. Orders to go are great, patio is dog friendly and inside is cozy. Ahi poke salad is good for lunch and sashimi dinner comes w everything else that’s good… For what you pay for you can’t beat it.

I live within a few blocks of Sushi Teri and find myself walking here for dinner more than a few times a month. In short, I’ve never had a bad experience here. The nigiri sushi is tasty and always seems fresh. Outside of the menu, there’s always a few specials written in the chalk board – so don’t forget to look before ordering. The service is always fairly good and the patio seating is great on a nice evening. The prices are reasonable for the area although still a tad expensive.

Cozy little place located off the hustle and bustle of DT. Relaxed atmosphere and good food. Everything you’d expect at a good sushi place.

Nothing out of ordinary. Agedashi tofu had no sauce:(when I asked the waitress to check with the chef, they said that’s how they cook it. Not an authentic Japanese dining experience. I strongly suggest that the restaurant staff go on a field trip to sample some authentic Japanese dishes elsewhere. Japanese food is not just about fresh fish. It’s about the right ingredients, attention to detail and FOLLOWINGTHETRADITION!!!

Top quality sushis ! One of my top 5 japanese restaurant in California. Good service, outdoor seats, best in class sushis. I truly recommend this restaurant and i’ll surely come back to this place next time.

Sushi itself is pretty good most of the time. Large selection of rolls and all the traditional sashimi/nigiri selections, which are fresh about 80% of the time. Sashimi plate is a pretty good value for Santa Barbara — 9BIG slices of ahi, salmon, and yellowtail, miso soup and cabbage salad for $ 20. Service really really leaves something to be desired. Most of the time, it takes forever, with no one checking on you, so if you want anything extra, you’ll have to hunt them down. If you want to get in and out quickly, go an hour before they close — they’ll rush you in and out in less than 30 minutes. The last time I went, I was given a roll that I didn’t order. When I told the server that I didn’t order it, she argued with me, insisted I ordered it(even though you mark the rolls on a sheet of paper and it wasn’t marked), and charged me for it anyways :/.

Really nice place and with good quality/price rate. Sushi and sashimi are good, they do also less conventional dish. The environment is well set and the service is good and friendly.

The patio is great, but that was the high point of this restaurant. Service was uncoordinated with dishes arriving a few minutes apart as they forgot about one of our orders. Seems they are focused on being quick instead of a more thoughtful customer experience. Edamame was under-salted and the sushi was average.

A good amount of food with the combo plates! The California rolls are pretty tasty as is the sashimi. Seating outside is nice and relaxing! Only drawback is the price.

Very dissatisfied with this location. We ordered the Beef & Chicken Combo $ 16 — Portions seem to be off lately. Comes with a HUGE mound of white rice, one tiny piece of chicken, one tiny piece of steak, cabbage salad &CA Rolls The meat portion is skimpy at this location, I called and complained but 2 women I spoke to couldn’t have cared less. I will stick to Edomasa from now on.

Bottom Line: For the price and for what you get… it’s very«middle of the road» My wife’s whole family went here the other night for dinner. I was the last to order and I asked if they could make the Spicy tuna and avo roll into a bowl for me. Im just not crazy about rolls of sushi — but I do love a bowl. The girl was very nice and went and asked the chefs for me who«flat out refused» to make a bowl. That’s fine — bring on the tuna roll! When it came out I understood why they didnt want to make it into a bowl — it was tiny. It would have fit into a rice bowl so it would have been spicy tuna and avocado rice bowl… The pieces of tuna in the roll were… well tiny. Also the color of the fish was a strange and very dark red. Not the shade of pink that I’m used to seeing with Tuna. Im not sushi expert but it didn’t look like the other tuna that I have had. All in all for the cost I was a bit underwhelmed. This place has real potential — I will have to come back and try the spicy tuna bowl at lunch because it would seem thats the only time I will be able to partake.

I like the style of the restaurant, but it doesn’t have a lot if space inside. They wanted us to sit outside but it was a cold. I had the tonkutsu ramen which was respectable; The teriyaki chicken was nothing special. Everything was pretty much 3 starish.

The girls were feeling a little hungover from partying the night before. Someone suggested Ramen to be the ultimate hangover remedy, and had we been in LA or Oc, I might have agreed. We Unilocaled for ramen specifically and were led to sushi teri. It was thankfully a quick drive into town. I was a bit apprehensive since the reviews weren’t much beyond mediocre… We were quickly seated and handed menus. We started off with tofu salad which was a poor start to our meal. We ordered three to be split between 6 girls and no one finished any of the three. We all ordered tonkotsu ramen which we were all excited to try. I mean cmon… in the absence of menudo, ramen is the touted cure for the hangover right. Suppose that would have been true if the ramen was deliciously comforting. Unfortunately it did nothing to entice my palate nor did it relieve the others’ hangovers. It was almost irreparably bland and the boiled eggs within were gray and overcooked. None of us finished our bowls. Needless to say, their hangovers remained.

Since moving to Santa Barbara from LA, where there is a sushi restaurant every couple blocks, I have had a hard time finding a decent sushi place without breaking the bank. Sushi Teri has become my go to place. I have been to the Goleta, Santa Barbara, and Carp locations. I prefer the Santa Barbara menu and location the best. I normally get take out but I love the outside patio, it is a definite plus over the other places I have been and I can bring my dog. Their service is decent and the fish always tastes very fresh to me. I love their«new crunchy» roll. This place is by no means a good deal compared to what I am used to spending in LA, but $ 17 for two rolls up here seems to be about as good as one can do. I have never been disappointed with Sushi Teri, except for one time where they forgot the sauce on one of the tempurad rolls, which made it very dry. Overall, Sushi Teri is a good restaurant.
