Sarah Jonas is absolutely amazing! I was terrified to dye my hair for the first time, and she really helped ease me into it! Now I can’t wait to see her every 2 months for her amazing head massage (everyone knows that’s the best part), fresh hair color, and eyebrows! Definitely recommend! Lovely environment and great people!

Just got another Keratin Complex treatment with Amanda at Legends! It’s made my hair very Smooth but more importantly it’s made my hair all the same texture and easy to style. I’ve cut off 20 minutes of my styling time because it’s blow dry and go! I use to have to blow dry and straighten a LOT but now it’s a quicker, less detailed blow dry and literally 2 minutes of straightening and voilà! Love it! Thank you Amanda!

I have visited Amanda Martinez about 5 times now for hair services. Now she is a stylist at Legends and I cannot say enough great things. I am the type of person that likes to let my stylist get creative with my hair… I give her an idea of what I want and let her do her magic! I am very pleased with the results every time which is why I follow her wherever she goes. My hair is long and thick so bless her for all the time she spends on it ha! Legends Hair as a whole salon is awesome because they can be open a little later for those that work and whenever I get my hair done. it’s not like i’m just seeing my stylist, im saying hello to everyone and everyone is so fun and friendly. This place rocks!

I’m one of those people who’s never learned that doing your hair in your bathroom with rusty scissors and a bottle of peroxide will NOT make you look like Marilyn.
Elissa fixes my horrific hair mistakes 4 – 5 times per year. She is fantastic (and fun to talk to during a cut/​color). Even when I manage to control myself and just come in for a trim, she’s got some sort of magic bag of products that make my poor, fried, damaged, abused, battered hair look photo-​shoot worthy. I recommend her for friends, weddings, funerals, theatre, etc. Or, you know, if you blow it doing a bathroom bleach job, she’ll set you straight. :)
Also, if you’re looking for something funky, Elissa is GREAT with little hints of color. She’s done my hair every color of the rainbow, and it always looks both subtle and punk rock. I don’t know how that’s possible. It’s art.

Sarah Jonas has been doing my hair for the past few years. I won’t let anyone else touch my hair. she always does a great job whether it be cut or color. one of the things i definitely admire about sarah is her honesty and true passion for what she does. she is not afraid to tell me no when it comes to doing something to my hair that will damage it. I always go back and forth on color and constantly want to dye or bleach it. i’m thankful that sarah is honest enough to tell me no, that my hair is not ready for it and will damage it. it lets me know that she’s not just trying to get money from her clients but genuinely cares and takes pride in her work and the outcome for the client. i highly recommend her!

Elissa has been cutting my hair for over three years now, and she does a great job each and every time. The results are consistent. Her rates are very reasonable, and she is a great person, not just a good stylist. I highly recommend her services.
Moreover, the owner of the studio is very friendly, and the atmosphere is very welcoming and mellow.

Sarah has been my stylist for years. She is the ONLY person I trust with my hair. I’m very indecisive about my hair and Sarah knows how I want my hair to look more than I do! She is so friendly and she is able to do my hair in a timely manner which is great with my super busy schedule.

I love Sarah, at Legends Salon. My color has never looked better. She is easily reached to make an appointment and is always on time. Both my husband and I are pleased with her hair cuts which last us 6 weeks. Everyone in the salon is friendly, coffee is always freshly made and it is very clean. After years of going to Fantastic Sam’s and Super Cuts, I was fortunate enough to have my hair styled (not just cut) by Elissa at Legends Salon. I’ll never go back. She paid attention to what I wanted and actually helped me improve on my preferences with suggestions that no other stylist ever bothered to make. She pays attention and she has a great eye. I would recommend her to anyone.

Legends studio itself has a comfortable and relaxed vibe. I would recommend that anyone new to the area or looking to change their stylist give Legends a call and set up an appointment with Elissa.

When I need a clean professional cut I always call up Elissa. She really knows what to do with my head to make me look the best. She is very professional and friendly, making the time in her chair enjoyable. Elissa is the best.
In addition, Legends is a very nice studio. All of the stylists are nice and create an excellent atmosphere for getting primped and preened.

Kim has been coloring, styling, and cutting my hair for the past year and I couldn’t be more pleased. Kim was referred to me by a friend and actually I had asked for my Mom who was new to Santa Barbara and needed a stylist. After watching Kim style and cut my Mom’s hair I thought I would give her a try and I am so glad I did. Kim is a second generation stylist with amazing artistic talent. She can look at your face and without question knows the style that will give you the best look. She knows hair and how to treat it using top-​of-​the line products. I love the salon environment too. All the stylists are friendly and help each other. There has never been a time that I have walked into the salon without being greeted in a friendly manner and offered something to drink and eat. I strongly recommend this salon and gladly give it a 5-​star rating.

After a bad experience with a Keratin treatment from a stylist named Crystal, I was sorely disappointed with my hair. However, it must have been my bad luck because when I came back to get it fixed I had a completely wonderful experience!
Even though Crystal no longer works here (for the better, I emailed her asking if she could fix my hair but she ignored me) the owner, who had nothing to do with my first appointment, offered to fix my hair for free. This made such a big difference because it really shows how committed she is to making sure her customers are happy and satisfied. I chatted with some other stylists there and they were very friendly and helpful.
The owner Kim fixed my hair and looks amazing now, so so much better than after my initial treatment. She was very attentive and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I was really impressed by her professionalism and willingness to help me out. I would definitely go back there after this! I very much recommend them.

Bought a groupon for a shine treatment cut and style. Don’t even no the name of the stylist who did my hair she only talked with another stylist the entire time. Deep conditioning treatment was way to long I’ve never had a shine treatment that required me to sit for 45mins under a dryer while water dripped down my neck and another 20mins without the dryer. Treatment managed to wash out some of my hair dye :(the cut was sloppy took about 3mins and looked as if it hadn’t been cut. If your going to only blow dry a persons hair make sure it at least looks good, I could do my own hair and have it look better. After I left my coworkers said they couldn’t tell my hair had been cut. Usually I would have said something but I honestly couldn’t wait to just leave. It was hard enough booking an appointment and playing phone tag just to end up showing up to my appointment and having me not be written down for an appointment.
