Greetings, The staff this evening was great. I brought a large group of students to celebrate a good ending to basketball season and the staff was very helpful. I read the past reviews and I do not want to step on anyones toes, by any means. However, I would reccommend a visit to your local pizza hut! Thanks guys!

We’ve been eating at this Pizza Hut since the late 80’s. Most of the time it was pretty normal, good, nothing to write home about, but hey. We will NEVER darken your doorway again after the way you treated us volunteers earlier this week. We were there to help with the cleanup from the flood and had to relocate further away from the target area because of your attitude toward us. WhataBurger came TO us and fed us, but Pizza Hut didn’t even want to see us. SHAME on you!!!

A group of flood volunteers were forced to leave the area because of how this Pizza Hut treated them for being in the same parking lots. The volunteers were providing clean ups for flooded homes that are in the Pizza Hut delivery area, yet did not feel they were important enough to continue.-To Whom It May Concern at Pizza Hut: I want you to rest assured that not only will I be sending this letter to your parent company, Yum! Brands, but I will also be posting it on social media. I will never purchase another product from your company, and I will tell anyone who will listen to me the following story. Two days ago, the city of San Marcos, Texas put together a concerted effort to clean up the areas most affected by the recent flooding. They established a base of operations in a large parking lot off the highway near the most damaged areas. As someone who used to live in New Orleans and experienced Hurricane Katrina first hand, trust me when I say that certain neighborhoods here suffered greatly. Yesterday, the volunteers – some 300 members of our community – were focused on the neighborhood immediately behind said parking lot which happens to house one of your facilities. This facility, located on Bugg Lane, did not offer the use of its restrooms to the volunteers. It did not offer food or water to the volunteers. Instead, this establishment threatened to start towing the vehicles. In fact, this Pizza Hut made the volunteer coordinators so unwelcome that the volunteer effort had to be shut down and moved to a different location further away from the affected areas. Some of the contributors to the relief effort pulled out completely after this confrontation. This kind of behavior, exhibited only four days after such devastation, is utterly appalling to me. All employees of this company should be ashamed. Not only is this behavior disgusting on a moral level, it is also completely stupid. The very homes the volunteers were cleaning, the free labor they were offering was to the residents in the immediate vicinity of your establishment. Those residents were saving money with the help of the volunteers, and they had no food in their homes due to – in some locations – the four feet of flood water. The people the volunteers were assisting were your target market. The decision to be blatantly callous is selfish and idiotic. While I do not anticipate any great remorse from a company that finds this kind of display appropriate, I am consoled by one fact. During the confrontation your business began with the relief workers, the District Manager of Whataburger showed up with cars loaded with thousands of dollars of food to give out to the volunteers. It comforts me to know that while your company threw a tantrum, hundreds of pictures were taken of volunteers eating free Whataburger hamburgers with the Pizza Hut logo right behind them. Sincerely, Claire Chilton

Delivery is awful, expect to wait a hour for your food. Apparently, they also want you to cook your own food as well since it comes cold to your door. The guy who cuts the pizza is obviously on drugs because it looks like he cut it with a machete, completely uneven. Slices will be on top of each other and squished together. Your whole meal will be a disaster, just save yourself the bull with these people and order from ANYWHERE else. What a waste of money.(And these are the people that want a minimum wage increase… what a freaking joke)

I don’t pay a premium price for poor delivery. I’ve ordered a pizza the past two days, and they have both been at least an hour for delivery time. I figured the second time would make up for the first. I was unequivocally wrong. It’s not slander; it’s the truth of transactions. Thanks for convincing me Peyton and his papa johns pizza is much more worth the time-to-pizza quality.

I’m not gonna even rate the buffet. Because really, should you ever eat pizza buffet? And if you do, does it even deserve a rating? NO. BUT!!! I’ll rate the delivery. Fast delivery. Always hot. The pepperoni’s are probably my favourite ever. Great spices and flavour. It’s really MUCH better than half of the local places. And if you’re still eating Panhandlers, I really must know… WHY?! Please. At the very least, eat Pizza Hut.

Delicious and dependably cheap. You always know what you’re getting at a Pizza Hut & this San Marcos location is one of the better ones too. If your pizza’s not right, they’ll make it right — just be nice about it. Cheap and quick delivery, mostly friendly staff. BUFFET some days, much better than Cici’s.

This Pizza Hut can turn out great pizza. It’s best if you know someone who works there, especially if you’re ordering to go. I used to, and got great pizzas all the time. The buffet is decent for dine-in, but Gatti’s is better.
