This is the perfect once a week dinner. The food is always fresh and the prices are low. I prefer the more simple pizzas but they have some unique options that are worth a try. And since it is take and bake you can take it home doctor it with some good spices then cook it. That way it is hot and ready whenever you need it not warm or cold by the time you get home to share it… or not.

We accidentally ended up stopping here to get pizza for dinner. I say accidentally, because we were on our way to Fazolli’s across the street, but couldn’t get there due to traffic. I turned on that street, saw the Papa Murphy’s and called it good.
We went in, ordered the chicken garlic pizza and were in and out so fast, it was amazing.
The pizza was really good, generous toppings that were evenly spread throughout the pizza. I hate it when one side has more of the toppings, and the other side is sparse.
Now that we live in a place that has Papa Murphy’s again, we will be back!

This place is good.
You can order ahead on the phone and it’ll be ready for pick up in around ten minutes. While you’re picking it up, you can just pre-​heat your oven for when you come home and pop it in there for about ten minutes.
You can also get deals either via email or text. They have the number in their store and on their website.
The got two thin crust large pizzas. One was the spicy fennel sausage, which was fan FREAKING tastic. It was mildly spicy and really flavorful. There was the perfect balance of meat, cheese, and sauce. I overcooked the crust a little, so just make sure you check the pizza while you are baking it.
The other pizza was a Canadian bacon thin crust that I added my own fresh pineapples to. They used large, flat, circular pieces of Canadian bacon (much like sandwich meat) on the pizza. It was really good.
I think I like baking my own pizza more than having it delivered or taking it out because it’s just that much more hot and fresh. That is all.

I’m so glad there is a Papa Murphies in San Marcos. This is a delicious fresh option to satisfy my pizza craving for the night. Great service over the phone and in person. I ordered the Veggie Delite the sauce they used was deliciously addicting and the whole pizza was delicious itself. I will definitely make my way back here for any future pizza nights!

Been there twice since they’ve opened here. I love the way the pizza tastes so fresh instead of stale like a supermarket one. Staff is super friendly. Love this place.
