I can see why this place only has 3 stars. But surprisingly I think it will last for a while. It is pretty inside and has lots of potential. We went around 8:30 on a Friday night and it was maybe 20% occupied. We ordered a large carafe of wine($ 10.50), a small chopped salad($ 8.50) a gorgonzola piandine($ 13.25), and an aracini with pesto($ 8.95). The arancini were my favorite. And we sent the chopped salad back — it was just grey and mushy and gross(I think I only remember ever sending 3 items back in my life, so that is saying something about how unappealing it was.) It was the kind of thing, you take a bite of and think it might have potential to give you food poisoning — it was obviously chopped and assembled way ahead, and we were getting the«end of the day» portion. The arancini were good, the piandine fine — but pretty tasteless, think boring salad wrapped in a thin pizza crust. The servers could not give 2 shits about the place and it showed in attitude. Overall — pretty underwhelmed.

This place has now moved over to the building on the left of the original one. This was always my favorite place to go for wings. However, the last two times I’ve been here were a disappointment. Both times I went, my wings were still pink inside… And the fries were just soggy. I don’t know what happened, but the move didn’t seem to do them well. Hoping this place gets back to their groove because this was my favorite wings place!

Location is literally inside the Mr. Chau’s — but looks like their old/new building is next door and under construction right now? My dude and I came by for wings and were well satisfied. We got a 6-er of «zingy» and a 6-er of «sweet chili» — both were delicious though I preferred the dry herbs of zingy. It was smokey and cumin-y and had a great savory flavor. If you’re overwhelmed with the many flavor types, they have samples of the spice mixes behind the counter for sniffing — take advantage! On the menu, the top flavors are all dry spice mixes, the bottom flavors are sauces. The dry spice mixes come with fries tossed into the wings, which was fun to eat for us adults… The saucey ones do compromise the crispy chicken skin though, so heads up. 12 wings plus an Angry Orchard cider pint on tap was $ 24 after tax, and the two of us were very satisfied with the portions. Will be coming back, and will maaaaaybe try the french dip?

Came here on a Saturday late afternoon lunch with a friend of mine who grew up in SJ who claims this his his«spot» for wings. I was not disappointed! He ordered the 10 piece cajun wings and I the sweet chili. Both were excellent! The cajun wings were actually spiced just right, and the skin was crispy, not over-battered. The sweet chili was the right amount of tangy and just a bit spicy. actually we both dipped our cajun wings in the extra sauce, try it()! It’s a much better deal to get any of the signature wings because they come on top of fries and jalapeños and they’re the same price! I assumed that my order would come with those fixins too but sadly that was not the case. There’s not much to be said about the service, they were friendly enough. Overall good wings, nothing fancy.

One night I was craving wings and decided to give this place a shot since it’s in my area and has a lot of good reviews. I wasn’t disappointed with the wings, but I wouldn’t say I was impressed either. They were very alright in my opinion. Couldn’t really taste the garlic on the wings but the actual chicken wing was good and big in size. Service was meh, called to place the order and they just hung up right after I said what I wanted, didn’t repeat my order and didn’t tell me the total so I had to call back to make sure they even got my order down.

I was SO disappointed tonight. Usually we’ve had nothing short of great food and great service here, but tonight something was definitely amiss. I phoned in my order: 10-piece garlic butter fish with no jalepenos; 10-piece curry fish with the works; one side of plain fries. When I arrived, I had to add another 10-piece garlic butter fish with no sauce(totally plain, not even garlic, but I understand I needed to «order» the garlic butter no problem). My mistake = I did not check the order before leaving. When I arrived at home, I found one order of 10-piece what seemed to be butter garlic fish with garlic all over it(not plain at all); one order of lemon pepper fish with the works; two large orders of mystery chicken wings with the works. I called to let them know of the mistake. There was confusion and the line went dead. He called back, and asked me what I ordered. As I began to tell him he interrupted me over and over again. I was never able to tell him what I ordered, and as I pointed this out he told me that he knew what I ordered(okay, then why did you ask?). I tried to communicate with him but every time I made a sound he spoke over me. I asked to speak to the owner. He told me he IS the owner.(I’ve met the owner, and unless the place was sold, this is not the guy.) He also told me that he was«right here, right now, trying to solve the problem» when in fact he was causing a greater problem. I called the other location on El Camino to speak with the real owner, but he won’t be in until Tuesday. I won’t be in again ever. This guy was a mess, and his customer service was non-existent.

I came here with a friend and I can say, definitely bang for your buck. We each got 10 pcs wings and it was way too much for us to finish. I got the lemon pepper and my friend got the garlic butter. The lemon pepper was not your ordinary lemon pepper and didn’t have too much lemony flavor, but it was still good. It worked really well with the signature fries that came with it.

I have been coming to Wings Dip since they were in their own building next door to Mr. Chau’s. When they first opened I came here regularly and I even wrote a pretty good Unilocal review about my experience. Unilocal likes to delete content so that review is long gone and here’s a new one. I hate doing things twice, let’s hope I don’t have to do it thrice, ok almighty Unilocal content deletion filter thingamajiggy? Since Wings Dip moved in with Mr. Chau the quality has been up-and-down. I still eat here but it has gone from a love to a like for me. I really enjoy their legendary signature garlic butter wings with fries, this is my go-to order. I also get the french dip sandwiches sometimes but they serve them with au jus which I always just toss out because they heat it up in the microwave, in the plastic to-go container which is not microwave safe. Said container always melts and domes up and the taste of overheated plastic ends up permeating the au jus rendering it unconsumable. I recommend a simple exercise for the kitchen staff so they can understand my frustration on this point: each person should prepare a to go container of au jus in the microwave, be sure to heat it to the point that the lid domes up. Then without an oven mitt or other protection try to handle that hot little package, moving it from the microwave to the nearest flat surface without screaming obscenities. Now, open that domed up lid and enjoy the steam burn on your hand and fingers. Now chug that plastic infused juice. Do you like? Noe? Me neither. Their tots are when they are made correctly. They are one-for-two on these lately for me. Recently I ordered them and they were soggy. Soggy tots are so sad like me. I don’t give up on things, sometimes that’s bad for me and causes me unnecessary pain, but tonight I tried the tots again and they were .ever. Crispy, seasoned very well, a ginormous portion for three bucks. The people here are very nice, I feel like the service is always good. I’ll keep coming back because it is close to home and convenient and the wings are fantastic. I’ll also keep trying on the sandwiches and tots and hope for the best.

i’m a sucker for chicken wings so i’m always looking for new chicken joints to try. i’ve been hearing good things about this place. it’s your hole in a wall kind of place. just a fair warning, the first thing you would notice on the outside of the building is a big sign that says mr. chau’s. it’s actually next door to mr. chau’s. so their sign is kinda hard to miss, especially if it’s nighttime. this place is really small, but they do have a couple tables outside too. i ordered their famous garlic butter wings, lemon pepper wings, & a brisket sandwich. they all taste so good! one thing i didn’t like is how the fries are tossed with the chicken wings. next time i would order it on the side because they got soggy really fast. the guy behind the register was nice & chill. if you check into Unilocal & order 10 pc wings you get $ 3 off any beer!

YUM! My boyfriend and I stopped by for a late lunch around 2PM. We ordered the garlic butter chicken wings and the trip tip cheesesteak sandwich, and it took about 5 minutes for it to come out. The wings were crispy and flavorful, as well as the fries that came along with it. The trip tip sandwich was also good. It’s not the typical thin steak cheesesteak sandwich since the pieces of meat were huge, but I’m not complaining. Worth a try.

Hate to do this, but I must. :( We’ve been coming to Wings Dip for a while and chicken wings is one of the top things I crave for. So I usually request that we eat here. Since the move from the building next door to the shared building with Mr. Chau’s, for some weird reason. it does NOT taste as great. I’m not sure why. SOOOO disappointed. :((( Our last trip is probably going to be our very last. It was the Monday after superbowl. They ran out of ranch and fries. Understandable. So she gave us bbq sauce(which btw was not great. it was extremely watery) and tator tots(that weren’t even crispy. Our parmesan fries had GREY colored cheese. Check picture. The farthest right. Also on their signature wings– they didn’t bother tossing the jalapenos and onions with the wings and tots. It was just at the bottom. bleh! Not to mention… I used to LOVE their spicy curry wings, but every time I order it, it’s never consistent on heat, flavor, and sauce thickness/color. Lots of parking. Filty seats and tables(same from old location). Filty bathroom(same like old location). Overused dirty ketchup bottles. I gave them 2 stars because the lady who was working at the cash register was really nice and apologetic. And I want to also try their newer location. I have hopes that it’ll taste better, if not the same, as the old location.

This place should always be on your food map for their signature garlic butter wings. If there is a word better than excellent, let me know. ;-) My nephew from out-of-state has been here a year ago and when he came back for a visit, he really asked to eat at Wingsdip because he says the wings are really good! But besides the exceptional wings and cheeseteak sandwiches served at this place, the service is equally exceptional. Jack, the restaurant manager, is one of the perfect examples of an outstanding restaurant host. After he takes your order, he makes sure customers are waiting comfortably. He talks with everyone and even gives candies to kids. He checks in with all customers while they’re eating and before they leave. You can’t ask for a greater service. ;-) And just in time for Lent, their new menu now includes the sgnature style lemon pepper fish. They serve the cod! The same flavors can be chosen for it — garlic butter, rosemary, cajun and all! It’s as greatly tasty as the signature wings.

Not very good. The wings are fresh and hot and mashed together with fries, the overall taste was ok but heavily spiced no much for my tastebuds. The French Dip was bland and dried up shoe leather meat. Do yourself pass on this one this French dip is nothing like Philippes in LA. Iwill not be coming back to this place again because there are to many good eating establishments in Willow Glenn

This is the second time I have been here. Once when they were a bit down the street and now when they share a building with Mr. Chau’s. I want to like them, they are close, I love wings and I like supporting my local small businesses. Don’t bother. The customer service is lukewarm at best(and I believe it was from the owner), the wings aren’t consistent, and they make you pay for sauce! What?! And I could barely tell the difference between the bleu cheese and ranch dipping sauce. We ordered the garlic Parmesan with jalapeños wings, Cajun wings, and sweet potato fries. Some wings were hot and juicy and some were lukewarm and dry. The regular fries were frozen shoestrings and again lukewarm. The sweet potato fries were the best part of the meal, however I could make a frozen bag of them at home. Overall, again I was disappointed. We had lukewarm service and lukewarm food in taste and temperature. Skip it and go to Hooters for friendly service and consistently good wings.

Stopped by for lunch on a Thursday 1pm, place was dead. Their location doesn’t look like they’d get much lunch traffic I’ll say that as it’s smack in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Let me post up what we ordered /ratings Smoked brisket french dip — 3 stars onion rings — 3.5 stars Nacho fries — 2 stars $ 1 side of ranch — 2 stars(so thick you can’t even dip anything in there) The«smoked brisket» sandwich whilst tender, had zero smoke flavor. My roomie and i were seriously trying to find the smoke flavor, just say slow roasted brisket sandwich, that’s fine. the sandwich part was ok, the Au Jus was very light in color, like chicken stock was used to maybe extend its life with a strong rosemary flavor and not a rich beef anything. I’d make a gravy out of that au jus though, just mix it with a roux to thicken and serve over mashed potatoes and turkey. Onion rings were alright and plentiful, and the fries they gave us a whole basket of fries like the size of the basket they make the fries in. Nacho fries were well done, but not like how you order them well done at in and out, but they just sat there for a long while already fried and then were refried when we came in.(see pic, did not order well done btw) I think we got all of the left over fries from the lunch service, and they refried them because they tasted stale AF. My part of the lunch was the brisket and onion rings, came to $ 18 – 20 after tip, just was not worth the price of admission. Please fix the fries, Au Jus, and brisket. Their wings look good, would maybe try them sometime.

Made plans to come here with some friends and was so shocked to find out that they moved locations. Given, it’s only 10 steps away. But it’s a smaller location that shares a building with a fast food Chinese restaurant. Sign was blinking, making it not very inviting from the outside. Tables were arranged in a way that made no sense. Some of the tables had no chairs and overall, it was overcrowded. SO sad! I loved this place but I think the appearance of this restaurant looks unkempt now.

I really wanted to like this place. It’s a wings place, I’m a huge wings lover, and it’s near my house. Unfortunately I wasn’t a fan. I went with the garlic and Cajun 10 piece. What I like about this place is that the wings come out, mixed with French fries onions and peppers so the flavor blends with all the food. My friend and I each ordered the 10 piece. When they came out, I told my friend«dang! Yours looks so much better than mine!» Turns out, after counting the wings, they only gave me 7. 7 out of 10. When the price points(6 wings or 10) are determined off of how many wings you order, this was pretty crazy to mess up. At least they were quick to fix this though… like, 2 minutes quick… Did they have wings just sitting in the back prepared? I dunno. Anyways for me I didn’t like the flavor at all. They were seasonings based(Cajun, salt, garlic, whatever else) and not sauced, but for me, they were waaaay too garlicky. You get what you pay for I guess though, they were garlic Cajun. My friend seemed to like it though, he’s always been a fan of extremely salty food. Not for me though.

I want to rate this place a 2.5, but I had to choose and I opted for the 2 instead of the 3 as I’m not a «Fan» as Unilocal says for 3 stars! First off, it’s connected to a Mr. Chau’s in an older building in an offbeat location(to me at least). When I went(dinner time on a Friday night) there was one table taken and the rest was empty. Probably not a great sign, but hey, maybe a hidden gem! I ordered a CheeseSteak sandwich and an order of their original Wings(10 piece). Service was incredibly fast and we had the food within like 5 minutes! They make their wings faster than Wing Stop, and I’m not even sure how they fry them that fast! The wings were hot and tasted pretty good. The fries that come with it were hit or miss. Some were tasty and some were mushy. The CheeseSteak was not what I had in mind as I was hoping for a Philly style and this was not. It wasn’t a bad sandwich, but for a CheeseSteak I think that Amato’s is a much better sandwich. So, overall it’s fair. I probably wouldn’t go back as I prefer Wing Stop for my wings and if you’re not a Wing Stop person then there’s lots of Korean fried chicken places around. You do get the feeling that this is a mom’n’pop shop, which I do like to frequent, but this one just didn’t have the vibe for me.

So very disappointed!!! I have loved this place but today I ordered a tri-tip French dip and the meat was over-cooked and so tough, I couldn’t even it eat. $ 13 for a completely inedible sandwich. It’s like they put it in the microwave and killed it. Not sure if ownership has changed or what, but the food quality went from amazing to inedible from one visit to the next.

It’s okay but it’s not Adamsons french dip you know? What I absolutely enjoyed about this place was how comfy it felt and how amazing the fries(and the amount of fries given) were. The dip added a nice kick and was noticeably spicier than Adamsons which I thoroughly enjoyed, but the sandwich overall wasn’t comparable. I felt the bread wasn’t as toasty as its counterpart, and the meat wasn’t as great. However this was still a solid #2 option in the area. I’ll definitely return if Adamson’s is out of commission.

I don’t consider tons of fat, grease, oil, etc., by ITSELF good cooking. It’s easy to add that; where’s the art in everything else? All in all, it’s nice grub. It just doesn’t sit well in my stomach. The sandwiches 2.5÷5 aren’t amazing. Tri-tip was plentiful but not quality meat, it was very chewy and rough. Definitely not unique or a must try. Wings and fries 3⁄5 no kick, no spice. Good quality chicken, beefy, good recipe, but tons of grease and oil probably did that. Not going here again due to my stomach.

Ordered their signature garlic butter wings which were absolutely fantastic. If you have a liking for stronger flavored foods, you might find the drumsticks(with a higher meat-to-marinade ratio) a bit tasteless, but the smaller pieces of wings were perfectly light and crispy. The fries require a special mention. They explode in your mouth with a burst of flavor and a delectable crunch. The onions and jalapeños are perfect for a little palate cleansing in between. We also got their angry wings, a curry-based wing with spiciest on a scale of 1 – 10. We chose a yellow curry on a scale of 7. Since we came on a favorable review of the spiciness of their wings(the reviewer couldn’t take level 5), we were a little apprehensive to try level 10. We need not have worried, for level 7 barely tickles.(This being said, we are native Asians who love eating fresh peppers in soy sauce.) the flavors were extraordinary!!! If you want flavor, definitely go for the curry! Ps. Management should consider a bike rack, and a less hostile attitude towards customers. :) but the lady who took our orders was very nice!

Out on a late dinner after Nation Night Run, which was awesome! Looking around SJ for some wings, avoiding the generics. First choice had a game going on, so didn’t want to bother with that. Became adventurous and Unilocaled a place and found Wing Dip. Let me say, the service was great, even though we came in an hour before closing. The one who helped us was Claudia. Thanks, girl! We ordered a 20 piece of their hottest wings: Angry 10 Buffalo and Angry 10BBQ. The heat was not that spicy, but we love spicy, so the tolerance may be higher than most. But the wings came out fresh and hot. The sauce, it tasted awesome! Would come here again and try their other wings. :3

This place kind of looks deceiving when you look at the outside of the building. They are connected with another restaurant(probably shares the same kitchen) Mr. Chau’s. I came here with my bf and a bunch of his friends and we all ordered separately. My bf and I ordered their cheesesteak with brisket, garlic jalapeño wings, and a side of parmesan cajun fries. I totally did not expect their portions to be so huge. We were struggling to finish all the food. I didn’t read the menu well enough and did not know that the wings came with fries. It was carbs galore. The cheesesteak was meh. Very bland and did not taste like a good cheesesteak should taste like. It lacked a lot of flavor. The wings were really good though. However, it did taste like they fried the wings in the same oil as in the Chinese restaurant. It had an eggroll-y aroma to it. It will still good and very filling. This place is small and is a hole in the wall restaurant. I don’t know what is the likely hood of me coming back here because it is not the healthiest food and they charge for ranch($ 1).

So, to me(I LOVE chicken wings), the Signature Style Garlic Butter wings are basically like crack. We ate at the Meridian Avenue location and was impressed. The wings are tossed with the sauce, grilled onions and sliced jalapeños, then all poured over some damn good french fries. And they serve it dine-in on a metal cookie sheet… LOVE! Hubby got the chicken teriyaki cheese steak and that was pretty good too! And this location had beer and hard cider.

Before heading out to the Earthquakes game, my buddy and I were hungry and I was craving a Cheesesteak. So I decide that we should try one of the less popular places to see if there was a hidden gem here. When you get here Its a little confusing. They have two identical looking buildings that say two different things. The actually building thats closed says Wings Dip… and the other has some other business sign in front of it, so it through us off initially. The buildings looked one down, and this point I was almost regretting getting out of the car. But we decide to go in anyways. So I order my cheesesteak. It didn’t take long for them to bring it out. I see a ton of meat in my sandwich, and some melted cheese with lots of grilled onions and bell pepper. I was happy with the amount of food that I got. I ordered the tri tip, and I’m just disappointed, I wanted a cheesesteak and I got a steak sandwich. Cheesesteak meat is suppose to be cut thinly and I got big cuts of meat. And it didn’t really taste like tri tip either, so I didn’t get what I wanted nor what the menu said it was suppose to be. We also got a side of tater tots and it was enough to feed 4. Overall, I mean the place is run down, so for not being from San Jose I wouldn’t come back, they don’t sell real cheesesteaks here. The interior of the place is grimy and they had someone who doesn’t even work here helping out because they were understaff. Outside it looks like they are out of business. I can’t really find anything appealing about this establishment.

Pretty damn good. I would describe this wing house as if Boiling Crab had a baby with Wing Stop. Their signature Garlic Butter wings is a hit for me. It’s tossed and mixed with the fries which in my opinion makes the fries maybe even better than the wings. Wings are big compared to many other wing places for example Wing Stop and Buffalo Wild Wings. Probably double in size. Had a 6 piece Garlic Cajun and it is plenty if you’re just hungry. 10 piece if you’re REAL hungry. Also, red curry is not bad. But I would not recommend unless you’re in the mood for curry and chicken wings. Otherwise, bad buy. I will return.

An easy 4 stars for what it is. And a potential update to 5 stars is a very real possibility. This place does Wings and does them well. My girlfriend and I stopped by on a Saturday night about a half hour or so before they closed – at that time all orders were to-go only. No probs. Wings are to be eaten in front of a TV, with a lot of napkins within reach. A few of the menu items were no longer available as well as the hot chilis to make things spicy, so that was a bit of a downer as we’re both hardcore spice feigns. We grabbed a small order of the Garlic Butter Wings(which come smothered w/Fries, Jalaps, & Onions!), a small order of Yellow Curry Wings, and side of Slaw. Ten minutes later we had our food and were headed home to feast. That bag smelled so good… we salivated the entire drive home. Dude those Garlic Butter Wings! So simple yet so perfect – crispy juicy and perfectly seasoned. The curry flavor was also perfect, tho a little heat would’ve been welcomed with open mouths. Then the Slaw just rounded out the meal all so well. The size of the meal was ideal for the both of us… as was the price(just over $ 20). Gonna have to come earlier next time before they run out of the hot chilis and other stuff. Then we’ll see about adding that fifth star…

All I can say is, this place is mega random. After spying the positive Unilocal reviews over the last few weeks, I was finally able to try the wings I’d been drooling over. My boyfriend and I came late on a Saturday evening(~9ish) and were told that orders were to-go only from 9pm on, which was fine. We scanned the menu and asked a couple of questions only to find that they were apparently out of numerous flavors and weren’t able to order anything spicy because they were also out of hot chilis. It was kind of a bummer way to start our experience, but we carried on with our ordering none the less. We finally settled on an order of the Garlic Butter Wings, Yellow Curry wings and a side of slaw. The total came out to about $ 21 for 12 wings and a side. The order took about 10 minutes to prepare and we were out the door and headed back to the casa to get our grub on. When we opened the to-go boxes, we noticed that everything was so hot it had started to melt the plastic containers… this did not deter us and we immediately set in on a few bites of wings. I was not disappointed… The garlic butter wings are super simple, but they are so juicy and flavorful they definitely don’t need much. The curry wings were also super flavorful, but don’t hold a candle to their simpler counterpart. I’d definitely try the curry wings again, but in hopes that they weren’t out of their hot chilis which would maybe be more up my alley.

5÷8÷15, 5÷28÷15(update): Had to come back. And again. 1. Tri-Tip Smoked Cheese Steak $ 11.95: It’s good. But not epic. Was a little drier than the brisket cheese steak I had last time, probably due to leaner meat. Was still a good sandwich – the bread is soft and warm like always. Just wish the tri tip was as juicy as some of the best ones I’ve had at full on restaurants. 7.5÷10 2. Smoked Brisket French Dip $ 10.95: Just tried my first french dip here. As a sandwich, again, it’s good but not epic. The brisket was drier than the one I had in my last ‘wit ‘whiz version, or maybe all that cheese just covered up the finer textures. Bread again was great though. But I think the biggest problem for this french dip was the dip… it was so weird! Like some kind of herbal soup – it’s definitely not like any french dip sauce I’ve ever had before. And though it’s unique, I don’t think it actually tastes good. So, I’d give the sandwich a 7/10, but since they do call it a french dip, I’d have to say given the really bad sauce, 4⁄10. Signature Recipe Wings: 2. Garlic Parmesan Wings 6 Pieces $ 7.95: So after sampling many of there wing flavors, I think these Signature Recipe Wings are definitely where it’s at! They combine fries, lots of spices, and the wings all in one dish. It’s a fried food lover’s dream! And the garlic parmesan wings are definitely garlicky and fried so crispy… tons of flavors. You can totally see all the flavor crystals all over, shining and glistening. Mmmmmm… 10⁄10 3. Garlic Cajun Wings 6 Pieces $ 7.95: Same deal as the garlic parmesan wings – totally epic, but with a slightly different cajun spice kick. Awesome. 10⁄10 Original Wings: 4. Tamarind 10 Pieces $ 10.95: After having the Signature wings, I’d have to say these are a bit of a let down, though compared to any other wings from various other places, they’re still above average. I’m not sure I’m into this tamarind flavor – I typically love the tangy taste, but I dunno what it is with this one… just think I prefer other flavors. This time not each wing was perfect – some were drier than others. A little inconsistent this time around. Anyway, they were good, but I’ve had better here. 7⁄10. So, today I finally had the first thing I did not like here – do NOT get the French Dip!!! Bad. But do get the Signature Recipe Wings! Some of the best wings you’ll ever have in your life! 5⁄5 #cheesesteak #friedchicken #wings #buffalowings #frenchdip #sandwich

We were tired and hungry from all the moving for my cousin and his fiancé’s new place. We were Unilocaling somewhere nearby and found a great chicken wing’s joint in town! We ordered 3 garlic fries and 30 pieces of wings with 20 lemon pepper and 10 garlic butter. The chicken wings were delicious and crispy on the outside. They did not put too much sauce which is good, so you can taste the meat of the chicken. Great chicken wings and I thought they tasted a lot better than Wingstop. When I visit my cousin and his fiancé’s new place, I would definitely stop by here again.

I really wanted to love this place… The reviews sounded great so maybe I hyped myself up too much. It was decent and definitely worth a try, but it wasn’t something I would go out of my way for. This place has character-it’s a bright red building(looks like it was a taqueria once upon a time) and there was a sweet older man working. We tried the special garlic butter wings. I love how these are unique because of the way they are served-wings on a little oven platter tossed together with the fries, onions, and jalapeño. I was expecting a crazy kick of flavor and even maybe an overwhelming one because some people said it was too salty at times. The taste for us was not there… There was barely any garlic flavor and for some reason the actual jalapeños didn’t even have taste either. The inside of a couple of the chickens weren’t cooked too well and it was pinkish and one had some blood. That’s when we decided to just stop. and leave. The good thing is I do love how extremely crispy and lightly battered they were though LOL. Maybe we came on an off day. I was turned off so much by the experience but it seems like people like it so I really want to come back and try to like it.
