I work nearby; I come to this Subway at least 4/each week. I am always treated respectfully; promptly and with professionalism. They even know my order and prepare for me as soon as they see me arrive. I have visited other Subways and found that the service and prep is different; many others don’t keep their soup supply full by lunchtime; This store always has a full supply of all items and soup. THat is 1 reason this store is my favorite. 5 stars to everyone. THANKYOU

Very rude service don’t give the customer to think what they want on their sandwich.

Decent sandwiches, and it looks like they keep the place pretty clean, but I can’t give more than 2 stars for two main reasons: 1. Communication is an issue here… if you’re communicating in English. If you’re ordering in Spanish, you should be fine 2. Walked in the other night, and I noticed big containers of their produce was just sitting out in the back room. Everything was either covered with plastic wrap, or in a bag, but they should’ve been in the fridge

Came in for lunch today and I was greeted by the owner. He made my sandwich just as I asked it was delicious! I swear the ingredients at this location are a lot fresher than the other locations I have been too. They have a great deal going on right now with their daily special they offer the footlong, chips, and a drink for $ 8!

Customer service sucks. The guy didn’t even greet me. I mean its not my fault if you don’t like your damn job at least pretend to after all your getting paid. F for customer service amd bad attitude. Not impressed. At all.

Standard subway sandwiches, my only complaint is that the staff isn’t that friendly or welcoming and their English isn’t great, so it makes asking for what I want a little harder.

They have a good veggie delete sandwich! They always make a good sandwich, just wish the customer service was better like other Subways I’ve been too, and that they’d clean the chairs better or more often.

Came here cause it was close to my house. Totally let down. First the little blue haired kid was rude and when I asked for mozzarella on my sandwich he said it wasn’t possible. Dude I work next to a subway and there is one next to my kids school so I know for a fact that’s not true. It’s lazy is what it is even after I told him to charge me extra. whatever be rude cause you lost a customer. I’ll gladly take my bust to the ladies on the corner of Bascom and Hedding. They actually know what customer service is and are not rude to people who ask questions.

These Sandwiches are always fresh & delicious! From cold cuts to warm meatball marinara! I can’t think of anything that’s negative bout subway. They also offer cookies & potato chips if you want to add that extra fat to your meal & a lower calorie options for chips if you don’t want too much fat just a little. Customer service… calm, clean and gentle when handling my sandwich:) great combo!

I thought long and hard about which place I should review for my 200th review. Subway. This Subway. The best gosh darn Subway I’ve ever been to. I live pretty close to this Subway, so this has always been my quick fast-food place. When I head to work in a hurry in the morning, I usually stop by to grab a footlong, half for breakfast, half for lunch. These people always have coffee made, even when I stumble in at 8:02am in the morning. The first time I went in, I asked the gentleman who has the morning shift to wrap my sandwich in two separate wrappers, so I can save one for the lunch and eat the other one in the car. And you know what? He remembers to do that every time now AND he now remembers what veggies I like. THATSCUSTOMERSERVICE. I’ve NEVER had a restaurant I go to treat me like a usual customer and I’ve NEVER had a place that I can walk into and the chef will be like«The usual?» THISSUBWAY is the place. THISSUBWAY gets me. Holyshit I’m getting emotional here, tearing up a bit. And they have sriracha now. sriracha. At Subway. sriracha.

12/17/2012 I guess this is what I get for wanting a sandwhich. the first lady that helped was just touching pork so I acted like I wasn’t ready. then another lady who was just handling boxes asked if I was ready and I figured I can ask her to change her gloves since she was just touching unsanitary shit. She was pissed when I asked her and the other lady, mind you its 3 people and I’m the ONLY one in line, asked her what was wrong in spanish. I couldn’t hear the response and frankly didn’t give a damn. So the 3rd lady asked me and since I wasn’t paying her in attention to see what she was doing with her hands I asked her to change her gloves and she did. THANKSCHICK. Then started talking in spanish. I couldn’t tell what she said. damn homegirl was talking fast. my plan was to get chips and shit and eat there but I was done and ready to smack the shit out of everyone. DO your job, I’m asking you to change your gloves for a reason. not to be a bitch. UGH. I SHOULD’VE cussed everyone out and left. but I’m hungry and was able to see them prepare my food. Muthasuckas!.. I hope we ALL was just having an off moment. ill be back and if I get the same shit. Ill give it right back to them. umph

There has been a time or two when I went and the service hasn’t been up to par and is quite slow. The employees seem more involved with talking to each other about anything, than helping customers who are giving them money for their company. The employees are not the quickest sandwich makers in the bay area. That’s part of the reason why there is always a long line. It doesn’t seem like there is much urgency here. On the upside, there is a ton of seating inside for you to enjoy your $ 5 footlong indoors.

I’ve been in here a number of times now and really enjoy the friendliness of the guys who work here The store usually smells of bread dough and they have a ton of seating. I always seem to enjoy my sandwich, even if they’re not the fastest team in the west to make it and sometimes there’s a line out the door. But all in all it’s a really friendly and welcoming Subway.

No go… The service is quite slow, and amazingly in-efficient I ate there once, and walked out another. Food quality is less than expected, but walked out as the place was FEALTHY. someone spelled food and drinks on the floor and none cleaned up — it looked like«puke» so, my two cents — :)

I ate here Wednesday night. The service was fine, like any other Subway. I ordered my usual vegetarian sandwich. Unfortunately, it all went downhill from here. It resulted in the most vile food poisoning I’ve ever experienced that ended in a trip to the ER for dehydration. I don’t know if there was an issue with the food or if there was a contamination issue, but I definitely won’t be eating here again anytime soon. :(

Subway is Subway. Of course, there’s nothing to be thrilled about, but it is a good standby when you’re looking for sandwiches for a picnic or a quick lunch. I’ve tried many of their sandwiches; here are a few quick notes if it helps you to make your next selection: — Spicy Italian/Italian BMT: basically the same sandwich, except that the Italian BMT has Black Forest ham in addition to Genoa Salami and pepperoni. The Spicy Italian, on the other hand, has no ham and instead has extra amounts of Salami and pepperoni. Personally, I prefer the Spicy Italian, as I like the spiced meats more than the unspiced ham, but whatever your preference is! TIP(for these two sandwiches): I really like it with the marinara sauce that they use for the meatball sub. Just ask and they’ll put it on. Also, remember that they have parmesan and oregano back behind the counter; these help to add a few more Italian flavors to the Italian sandwiches. My choice of cheese would be the Monterrey cheddar; when you combine this with the marinara sauce and the pepperoni, you almost have a pizza for a sub! — Buffalo Chicken: this is another one of my favorite flavors. Remember to ask for the buffalo sauce at the end(yes, the chicken has some sauce coated on it, but it’s not nearly enough of a kick if you really like your Buffalo flavor!) — Steak and Cheese: a decent option, although let’s face it, Subway doesn’t do it like Philly. This may sound weird, but I like it with a bit of chipotle sauce to give it an extra kick. — Meatball marinara: Meh, don’t really care for it. Their meatballs aren’t very good. — Sweet onion chicken teriyaki: I don’t like this one either; it is faaaarrr too sweet for my tastes. Well, those should be enough tips to get you started! Although Subway may not exactly be thrilling, one thing that I like about it is that you get to customize your sandwich to your tastes, with your choice of fix-ins and what-not. Best of luck!

The subway to heaven, OK, wow I shouldn’t go that far, but it’s close by to me and convenient. The one on Bascom was at the time the only one close to me, but the 2 times that I had gone, disgusting. Jared would’ve never lost weight if this was his subway. So thankfully, this place opened with nice seating, and good management with great employees. And the food is as ideal as it should be. I personally love Subway and I’m happy to have this one to go to. Even my little boy enjoys eating these sandwiches with almost everything on it, except for the jalapenos. Can’t blame him, nether do I. But seriously everyone, boycott the one on Bascom across from the S.J. hospital. It does not deserve to be in business. All around bad. The only reason it stays in business is due to the staff & patients or their families at the hospital. It’s just conveniently close to eat at that Subway to hell.

Best Subway I’ve ever walked into. Fantastic Four reasons below. 1. Big and roomy 2. Nice comfortable leather chair seating(Starbucks style) 3. Pepper Jack a part of their cheese selection 4. Restrooms! Whoo hoo!

So I love my Subway. I loved Subway even more when they started the $ 5.00 foot long deal, and then EVENMORE when they started having the veggie patty. Definitely a great sandwich for us vegetarians. Anyhow, visited this location yesterday to grab some lunch, and unfortunately was disappointed. I believe this location is pretty new because it smelled like new«carpentry»(as my boyfriend described it), and all the furniture looked new. However, everything in my sandwich WASNOT fresh! The bread tasted old, all my veggies tasted and looked old. eeek… it’s supposed to be Subway eat FRESH! well, hopefully this problem won’t persist since it is the closest one to where i live.
