Quick, easy and delicious. Call in your order before you pick it up so you dont have to wait too long…

I discovered this place earlier this summer and I’m glad I did. I recently moved to the south side and whenever I would crave good authentic Mexican food I would have to make a trip to the east side. However, now I found a place that’s is just as good and closer to home. So far everything I’ve had has been good. My favorite thing to order though is the tacos de tripa. They have reasonable prices and the staff is pretty friendly. The place is a bit hidden if you drive by pretty quick. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting good Mexican food on this side of town.

Tacos El Jalisciense looks a cafeteria with steamtable service. only a few tables occupied by «blue collar» amigos. typical menu. proteins + lengua, cabeza available. eats: lengua & cabeza taco(1.83) –diced lengua, hashed cabeza, both fresh, neither breaded nor fried, mixed with cliantro, m veggies and some spicy salsa. frijoles refritos: –no condimets bar seen, none neeeded. –evaluation based only on items consumed, 4 stars not extended to other menu items.

My buddy and I ordered asada burritos to go. Nothing too special in my opinion, and they forgot sour cream on my burrito. I was a bit surprised they forgot to add it when I paid extra and mainly because their was literally nobody else in there the entire length of my visit. Maybe their was a little on it, but a trained eye would struggle to see it, let alone taste it. If you don’t like a lot of heat, make sure you ask for a little less salsa, as it was pretty heated.

Went here for tacos and got a burrito instead … Disappointed. There was no wait and I had my food in three minutes. But you wait for what you get. The beans were dry And the tortilla tasted old. Don’t be like me and come here just cause it’s local, the drive out to somewhere else is worth it. Sorry ladies.

This is for the tacos only. The group who owns this place began with several taquerias in Gilroy and Morgan Hill. Best street Taco’s then and still are. The Bomb. Taco’s like anything are made different. These are delicious. Yes a little greasy but not bad. Even my kids were saying how good they are.

Wanted to eat at good Mexican restaurant around my house and this is the closes place to my house. As I walked in, the layout to the place did not make sense. The food is kinda pricey and the food wasn’t that great. My food was cold. Took forever. Last time I come here again. Beer was good though.

Prices went up, meat quality has slipped. I don’t find myself going much anymore.

I don’t like my sopes. The way they cook mine was in a microwave. Who the heck does that? If you’re Mexican and have a restaurant at least cook it the right way. My sopes was too fucking wet and the sopes tortilla is hella hard. Can’t even cook. Learn how to cook the real way dude!!! The dude who cook my sopes!!! I’ll never come back ever again. Didn’t even greet and waste of my breath saying hi asshole!!! Waste of my time and my $ 2.70 cents with taxes!!!

By far the worst nachos I have ever had… this place is garbage I don’t know how they are still in buisness. I would never suggest this place to anybody or for that matter I would bother feeding my dog this food!

Best tacos in San Jose!!! Thought I wouldn’t find a better taco place than Jaliscos taqueria on the east side but then I came here. I’ve tried many items on the menu and I’m never disappointed. My favorite by far are the tacos however, I can have those everyday and not get tired of them. The place is always clean, has great customer service, and more importantly always serves fresh meat and produce. A must try for sure!

The have very odd schedule where they don’t open in the morning but rather later around 1030am, yet they serve breakfast. Also, if you do get there when they open, they dont have the full menu available because the fail to prep for the day, so just keep that in mind. Its always seems to be incredibly empty every time I’ve gone in or drove by. The food is actually pretty good, but its just an issue of catching them when they’re open.

First time actually going to a taqueria. I’ve been a taco truck person for as long as. I’m not even sure. I’ve been eyeing this place since it opened. Appearances — it’s quite the surprise if you knew this place used to be an old, dirty 7 – 11. Now, it’s so extremely clean. Food — It was so good! It wasn’t exactly fresh off the press hot when we got it. which was weird cause there was no one else there and it took us a while to get our food. It’s definitely not as greasy&oily as a lot of the other places i’ve tried — which i greatly appreciate. It was flavoured but not as flavourful as some other places. On a sidenote — the lengua was so soft and anything but«chewy« 1st impression –not so bad. not bad at all. i’d definitely come back. I just hope the food would be hotter next time.

Wanted to try this since it just opened up and it’s super close to my boyfriend’s house… probably not going to come back. Super burrito says $ 7 on the menu, but got charged $ 8! And it wasn’t even that good… there’s so many taquerias in San Jose. and this one just isn’t up to par. The al pastor taco on the other hand was pretty good. still not worth it.

This place is awesome! It’s kind of hidden but treasures are hidden, right? — Prices are great compared to most places out there! — Not as greasy as most places! — Salsas have great flavor!(Which is super important!) Favorite taqueria in SANJOSE besides Jalisco Taqueria on King but who wants that traffic?

This was once a 711 that was closed down years ago. Walking in, I would never expect the place to be so neat and clean. The restrooms were even incredibly clean. The cashier was very friendly and sweet, but with a face drawn and filled with makeup(this is how I will remember Jalisciense Taqueria), it was pretty scary… But who am I to judge right? I order a burrito($ 5) instead of a super burrito($ 7), since I wasn’t as hungry and wanted to cut down. The burrito is pretty small for something $ 5. The tortilla was single wrapped and everything came falling out. My spanish rice tasted like white rice that was colored, it was also halfway cooked! some pieces and bits were really hard. My carne asana meat was really chewy, I felt like it was also uncooked or left out for awhile. Tacos were $ 1.70 and they were decent, not the best, but it was good. It wasn’t as oily. My Al Pastor was a bit on the drier side though. Nachos was $ 6, and it was not worth it. The cheese was delicious but the meat had the same problem as the burrito — dry and chewy. Portion could have been bigger. Overall, I would love to give this place a better rating but I just can’t. They have many plate options as well. The interior would be a 9⁄10. The burrito… 3/10, I’ve had better at nearby taquerias and even Taco Bell sadly. The tacos would be a 5/10, much to be improved. Nachos would be 5.5÷10. It’s a spot to eat if you’re staying out late or if you get tired of the snacks offered at the flea market and being tired from all that walking. Just not a place you would chow down after a long days work or for dinner with your family.
