Clyde’s Liquor Store

Clyde’s is a typical liquor store in the sense that’ it’s easy to enter and exit. not much drama with bottled barrier blocking the lanes. only obstacle is most brews not priced. so it’s a guess what they will cost. slightly better than average selection. some brews priced, most not.

This place has some decent wines. I usually go here to grab a quick one. But yesterday they overcharge me for $ 2 on a bottle of 2010 Robert Mondavi Nappa Valley. The sticker price indicated $ 27.99. The clerk rung me up for a total of $ 32.61, he peeled off the sticker and didn’t give me a receipt.
I didn’t think anything of it until I went to my car and thought to myself, «even with taxes it doesn’t add up.» So I went back and ask for a receipt. Sure enough he charged me for $ 29.99 instead of the sticker price of $ 27.99. I confronted him and he gave me some lame excuses. I didn’t buy any of it. Asked for me money back and left. I will never come to this place again. If you do, always ask for a receipt to make sure you don’t get overcharged. A lot of liquor stores do this without you knowing it.

they sold spoiled milk to my mom and she didn’t pay attention. She put it in the fridge and once i open and tasted it, i realize it was sour milk! I check the date, 01 FEB 2015 and we just bought it on February 1, 2015 at 10PM. I took it back to the store, the merchant immediately says no refund. Showed me a sign that says no refund.
STAY AWAY from this place. THEY SELL SPOILED FOOD. Beware!

Best liquor store ever!!! Best quality customer service and great prices. I go there almost every week and literally refuse to go to any other liquor store. If you don’t immediately go to Clyde’s right now your probably missing out!!!

I Love their Big selection of beer, liquor, whiskey, and wines! Unbelievably Great prices too.
The staff is so friendly! I always say hi to our favorite cashier think his name is Carlos (my bad). Knows me and my fiancé by name tho ha. And always has a fireball bottle waiting for my alcoholic ass at the register when he sees me walk in haha. Store is leggiett.. Oh, & Yeah there’s homeless chilling outside but they respect when u can’t give them change.
Mexican restaurant next door is delicious too! chavelas are bomb!

I went into Clyde’s liquor store to use the ATM. I bought a red bull and 2 scratch offs and went to my car. When I got in my car I realized I left the red bull on the counter. I went in to grab it. The woman behind the counter told me she hadn’t seen it. Really? Come on, I just bought it. I went back out to my car just in case I had grabbed it and stuck it in my purse. Nope.
I went in again and told her I left it. She said nope. I’ve never had this happen before.
She would not give me my red bull.
This place is shady. I’ve been robbed!

It’s your average liquor store. People loiter outside and ask you for change or smokes. Sometimes the people behind the counter chat you up, sometimes they’re too busy hating their life to even acknowledge you saying thank you. But still, 20.99 for a handle of Bacardi white rum is a fair enough price. They have a fair selection of good liquids behind the counter.
Oh, and their 2 liters of coke always run out late at night. :(

Stopped by to get some alcohol Fri night. The actual liquor store is ok but right when we got out of the car two diff bums asked us for money and the parking lot smelled bad. Would recommend going to another liquor store but might not be any better because of the generally ghetto area…

Regular old liquor store, nothing special at all, but there is a cute asian chick that works there.
