Ordered carne asana super burrito. 7.99 $ steak is well seasoned and flavorful. Will order again. Came with sour cream and avocado

The meals here really are like home made. The chicken was cooked perfectly, tender and moist. The beans and rice were simple but good, not over cooked. I have eaten here several times and the food is consistently good.

BEST place for BBQ and Mexican! Let me tell u! It was so good! My boyfriend got the plate with ribs, chicken,& hot link. I gotten a chicken burrito(which was amazing!) and my brother got a quesadilla with a hot link inside. It was all very delicious! While they were making the food, which was about 15mins.) the owner or his son offered us a free dessert(ice cream) or drink because of the wait(which was WELL worth it) he was so nice but we declined and continued to wait. When we were leaving my boyfriend noticed the had macaroni salad and he threw a free side for us because he over heard him! I was so surprised on how welcoming and nice they are! And that’s just the side next to the GREAT food!

i came in here with very high hopes, so the bar was set very high. I can’t seem to find any peruvian chicken places out here since moving from the DC area. I thought I would find it here, not the case. Ordered 1 each spicy/regular half chicken. They were both ok, a bit dry, the spicy sauce helped the moisture a little though. If you’re from the DC area looking for a peruvian chicken fix, this will not do it. Probably won’t be back, but glad I visited.

I give it 5 stars because of the quality of the chicken. I may be wrong but these chicken feels like free range. Lean not fatty. Me recuerda al pollo loco de Mexico. Definitivamente worth coming back.

New management, place is the same probably alittle better. New owners for friendly just like the last owners, and chicken was off the hook. Got the #5 spicy as hell but very delicious.

Decided to try something new around the neighborhood so I stopped by this joint. I ordered two #1’s(¼ chicken that comes with some rice, beans, and 3 tortillas), with the addition of salad and tortillas. The total came out to under $ 20. The chicken was a little bland and could use more seasoning. I liked that it was crispy though. There was only one person working when I swung by so it did take a little time for everything to come together. The man working was really nice and apologized for the wait. They’re having their grand opening celebration on the 22nd of this month.

I love this place! Way better than Pollo Loco… I’ve been coming here for years. Friendly service and the food never disappoints.

This place is awesome but it’s so overlooked! My parents would always bring a chicken combo to me for a quick lunch and it was always enjoyable! I decided to seek out the place and purchase a plate myself. The lady at the register was really nice and took care of me in a jiffy! I was really surprised that they even took card! There is a $ 8 minimum, I believe. I got a half chicken combo even though happy hour was going on. I didn’t regret it though! The half chicken combo came with beans, rice, salsa, 3 tortillas and of course, half of a deliciously seasoned chicken. I loved it because it was cheap, local and pleased my taste buds! Nothing too fancy but it was good food. Forget El Pollo Loco and its prices! GOHEREANDSUPPORT A SMALLBUSINESS!!!

Love this little mom and pop place. I go here so much that the owners know me by name whenever I call in for take out. Their food is delicious! Like another reviewer said, it is similar to El Pollo Loco, but I believe this tastes much better and it’s truly a bang for your buck! They give generous portions. The spicy teriyaki is my fave. It’s juicy, crunchy and spicy all in one bite! The owners are friendly. They close at 7(a little too early for me) but will stay open a little longer if there are customers. I suggest you call to order ahead so you don’t have to wait 15 – 20 minutes. I’m definitely coming back for more chicken tomorrow, next week, and next month.

Not bad. Similar to El Pollo Loco without the fanfare. I’ll be back

Seven bucks for half of a chicken, rice, beans, and tortillas? Yes please. I randomly stopped in here because I was craving chicken and didn’t feel like going to KFC or Popeye’s. It’s a small hole in the wall hidden in the Marina Plaza but what a great find. When you order at the counter you can see the whole pieces of chicken just cooking slowly on the grill. Food came out fast as well. The chicken pieces were seasoned well and very moist. The beans weren’t refried, just plain pinto but it was acceptable as well as the rice. Their menu isn’t very big but sometimes the best places have a really small menu. I will for sure be returning!

probably the healthiest fast food you can get around here the chicken is only grilled, and the beans are not refried… just traditional pinto beans for 3.99 i got two pieces of chicken, rice, beans, salsa, and tortillas they have a good variety of combo plates as well… I gotta try those. The spicy chicken and the teriyaki chicken look good! They melt real cheese in the burrito. It’s amazing and is probably my new go-to for chicken burritos. They chop up the chicken in front of you! and the owners/workers are SOOOO nice. they always have something scandalous like jerry springer or maury on TV haha

OK chicken but not as good as Pollo Loco but their rice is better does not have those disgusting bits of red peppers or whatever it is that Pollo Loco puts in there, prices are also decent here. You can also get burritos, quesadillas, and has some Asian flavored dishes too.

I wanted to find something local, near the flea market, and walked into this place. Simple takeout joint, with friendly service. But I found the chicken somewhat disappointing. The seasoning was average, and the side dishes were pretty plain. The specials were reasonable, but it does taste better than going to an El Pollo Loco.

Ahhh i used to work in this area and i would duck over here for chicken all the time. As a child i didn’t know what i was eating all i knew was it’s good tasting chicken. With their own salsa that they make with a nice spicy kick, what more did i need to know? Now I’m a bit older and i know it’s flame broiled chicken, yes like El Pollo loco but from a mom and pop owned business with a smaller price tag. What do you need to know? nothing more then that now go here and eat!
