This place was good if you just want a quick sushi fix, but it wasn’t amazing. Food was good, staff polite, place seemed clean. It’s close to home and if you do the 3rolls for $ 26 it’s not that bad of a deal considering I personally never eat my money’s worth at an all you can eat place anyways.

Awful service!!! 1 meal came out over 15 minutes before any one elses, when my food finally arrived my chicken and brocolli were freezing and undercooked, sent back and got a new one. Got 2 out of 3 of our rolls after over an hr. After an hr and a halfbour 3rd roll still hadn’t even been cooked! Of course no generalmanager to speak to other than a server manager and head chief.

Our first visit and I don’t know if we will go back, tried the 3 rolls for 26 $ but a little disappointed that the majority of them were spicy tuna rolls. In my opinion not really worth it to get the same type of rolls. Also charges extra for a side of spicy mayo… really? That’s like charging for ketchup

I’m sooooooo upset with how we where treated at the hot wok. The service was horrible and the manager was 100% rude. I have never EVER felt so disrespected at a restaurant in my life. My family and I are extremely upset.

Best Sushi ever… I freaking love this place! They are the most friendliest people ever. They really know how to make you feel right at home. When you are there its like your family. There has not been one single thing there that i have not liked… the house kung pao is absolutely amazing. You gots to try the baked lobster roll, lada gaga roll, and my favorite the tiger roll! And if you like a little excitement in your life try the sake mix drinks… this place is at the top of my list!

Went there for lunch and the service sucked. I work at the hospital so we have 5 orders. All the orders were wrong. We ordered steak bowl and got chicken, no salads. When we called about all the errors all they said was«come back and we will give you a dollar or your salad», not even addressing all the errors. We are throwing out the menu.

Well not a regular here but I’m kinda glad I’m not lol. I came here with my family awhile back and when we got our food 2 cockroaches started crawling out. I could not get out of there fast enough. They did take 50% off our bill but that’s not enough to get me to come back. It’s been awhile since I was there but now that I’m on this thing maybe it will help some of you. Happy sushi hunting.

Absolutely nobody in the restaraunt and we sit at the circle booth and after ten minutes of sitting there after we sat ourselves because we were tired of waiting to be seated. Finally Kayla came and told us me and my handicap mother couldn’t sit there because it was a table for 5. Let me remind you it was us and two people at the sushi bar in the entire restaraunt. When she asked if we could sit across the restaraunt if it was easier I said it wasn’t easier as my mother implied that she was handicap and when she still insisted we could sit there we said we would take our business elsewhere and she apologized as I told her no she wasn’t sorry. And we left. We’ve come to hot wok for many many years since they opened and this is the worst experience we’ve ever had. Will not be returning. I suggest if you have any kind of disability to not come here. Will be filing an ADA(Americans with Disabilitys Act) with the Department of Justice regarding Sandras restaraunt and Kaylas against the law service

After coming here regularly for about a year once every one or two weeks, I’m sad to say my family will not be coming back. We loved this place and the food has always been amazing. But Sandra, the sushi chef/manager made our terrible rolls. This isnt the first time we’ve had falling apart rolls from her. We sat down to get our normal meal and our regular waitress wasnt there«J» whom we love and is always amazing. We normally get terrible service if she isnt there. After waiting 30 mins for rolls, we were served warm, soggy rolls that fell apart when you picked them up. My husband ate them because he was hungry, but I couldn’t stomach them. We got the 3 for 26 and didnt even eat the last one it was so bad. We complained and the servers kept coming back and fourth to the table trying to remake the roll. After telling them we didnt want it remade, they said they would adjust the bill. Then came back again to tell us since it was the special that the price would stay the same. I told them since we were regulars we would not be coming back, they did not care. Good bye Hot wok, hello $ 60 every week. We would still be going there weekly if Sandra had not made our rolls or if they would have compensated for the bad taste literally left in our mouths.

Horrible walked in nobody in the front sat at sushi they seemed like they couldn’t be bothered told us they will bring us a menu went to the front asked for a menu three girls at the counter told us it will be just a minute mind there are two tables filled in the whole restaurant. I love sushi and usually spend at least $ 100 but will never come back to this place worst customer service. Even called to talk to a manager about this and they said they were busy did we want to leave a message not voice mail just with them

Updating my review. Sushi is stiil good, but doesnt seem as fresh as others I’ve had recently. The reason for dropping a star is because the service is spotty, and they could use an additional sushi chef from time to time. We once waited almost 30 minutes for 6 rolls, i think that is a bit long. The décor is still cool, the lounge is nice but unused. This place seems to be missing something lately.

I love the food. All of it. I have been coming here for years. With how expensive the food is here you would think they would hire more staff. The service went from okay 6 months ago to absolutely horrible. I have never experienced such bad customer service as here. We waited for 20 minutes to be seated yet there was only 3 tables being taken by customers. We finally got seated and it took 45 minutes to get our food. We didn’t leave because I wanted to see how long they would take and write a review after so long. To this day I haven’t gone back and it’s been 3 months . I have called and made many complaints and even complained to the owner and they have done nothing about the wait time !!. .

I am so disappointed, I work close by and eat there quite often for over 6 years, Today i have decided to place an order for pick up, Come to my surprise they charge for everything, from hot sauce to simple chips that go into your soup. I explained that i have never had to pay for the chips for my soup for over 6 years and she simply states oh they probably never told you that you where getting charge… Unbelievable i felt violated. I told her to cancel my order, and she simply said OK, So RUDE!!! its not the .50 that bothered me, it was how she didn’t care to lose a customer. Going to avoid this place for awhile… screw that!

Good sushi. Friendly service. Everyday special: 3 rolls for $ 26. You can choose from over 30 different ones. The only improvement I would say is decrease wait time, other than that I recommend it!

Been coming here for over 8 years… And as each year passes we get more and more disappointed. The food went from being okay, to not too worthy of even really eating more than 3 or 4 things. The prices went from $ 3 for two pieces of tuna to $ 7. The quality of sushi has gone down. All you can eat went from every day, to Sunday for an hour or so. And the reason I’m finally writing this review is because it’s been 1 hour and my food isn’t here. Quite a shame and not worth the money.

I didn’t used to like sushi, but thanks to this place, I’m now OBSESSED! Friendly and fast service. This place is SOGOOD, but unfortunately they STOPPED offering AYCE. Such a shame. We definitely won’t visit as often, and the place already always seemed pretty empty.
