I love their Oolong Tea Creama! Always will be my favorite drink! The Staff here is nice and friendly, they are very attentive to your needs. If you prefer your drinks at a certain sweetness, you can custom your drink as well. They have a great selection of different drinks. Sharetea provides a good environment for hangout with friends or even self studying. Very convenient location and easy parking!

THEREIS A PROBLEMWITHTHEIRBOBA! With the new hype going around, I thought I’d give this place a try. I ordered a milk tea with mini boba and thought it tasted a bit funny. I took another sip and discovered that it was the mini boba. It tasted sour and grossed me out. I tossed it out afterward. Based on my past experience working at a boba shop, the sourness from the boba could possibly be caused by the boba being expired. SOBECAREFULWHATYOUORDERNEXTTIME. For that reason alone, I gave this place 1 star. However, the staff there were friendly and worked pretty quick.

Parking: Own Parking Lot I have tried the one in San Mateo and was excited one was opening one in so cal. Though the quality of Sharetea in San Mateo has gone down a bit, I was surprised of this Sharetea’s drastic taste difference. I got the Taro Fresh Milk and was surprise I got an slush drink. I think 75% of it was ice and it wasn’t really crushed either so difficult to even slurp. I got half sweet and it felt like they filled the cup with half the size of a normal sweet Taro milk and the rest filled with ice. I definitely need to think twice about coming back to this one when there is factory tea bar and a bunch of other boba shops around the area.

Staff was friendly and worked quickly for being so busy, but the drink wasn’t very good. The tea was bland and weak. My friend and I both ordered the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea and neither us were happy! The toppings were not evenly distributed and had barely any pudding or grass jelly. The red bean had a distinct tinned flavor. It seems the moderate reviews are from folks who got their drinks for free! :p

Pretty decent milk tea, but nothing too exotic or special– in fact, a pretty straightforward menu. Very quick service tho, and reasonable enough pricing. Lots of light colored décor inside, a bit loud for studying or working, but not bad. Very consistent for a Sharetea, although compared to the last few I’d been to in the Bay Area or Hong Kong, didn’t seem quite as good as some other locations.

I arrived with a group of 7 around 10pm-ish. It’s not a very big place. we were lucky to find seating because mostly every seat was taken. It wasn’t too busy at this time. That creama is awesome. I ordered the Strawberry Black Tea Creama, and I really enjoyed it. It’s a tad sweet for me, so less sugar for me next time when I’m back. I can actually taste both the strawberry and tea. And the cream mixture is superb. I like drinking it by making a small cut on the top of the plastic, closer to the side to sip on. It allows for a nice mixture of both the cream and the drink when you drink it. You really have to tilt the drink this way or else you’ll just be drinking the cream. Overall, awesome.

I am not going to share my tea! Sorry not sorry. But I’ll share my review. Sharetea is in a small plaza with a salon and El Pollo Loco on Las Tunas and Mission. The place is easy to locate. Parking can be a bit of a struggle with the numerous storefronts and a small private parking but there is street parking around the plaza. Walking in, there are a handful of tables where you can sit and chat with your friends or attempt to study. It seems a bit loud so I don’t suggest it but maybe you might like the noise. Remember to check their Unilocal page when you are there cuz they have daily $ 2 specials. The special for the day I went was the Kiwi Fruit Tea with Ice Jelly. You can customize it with your amount of ice and sugar. The drink was very fruity with a mix of kiwi and orange/citrus flavor. I asked for 50% sweetness and I think it was still a bit sweet for my liking so I will go for 30% sweetness next time. The drink was refreshing and can compete with the other drinks you would get at other tea places. My sister got the Strawberry Black Tea Creama. It’s pretty much like a Sea Salt Strawberry Black Tea. I appreciated how the server told us how she suggested drinking it by either mixing it all together or using one of their plastic knives to cut a slit in the top and to not use a straw but drink it from the cup so that you could get cream and tea in every sip. Great tutorial so that you can really experience the drink. The tea was a good mix of tea and sweetness from the strawberry. The sea salt was subtle but it added an extra level to the drink. If you enjoy the sea salt flavor, I suggest getting it but the strawberry black tea itself was really good. Worth multiple visits to hit their top 20 list. Other drinks that caught my eye are the hokkiado milk tea, the Yakult drinks, and the fresh milk drinks. Worth the visit and coming back for more(and to share…)

Unilocal Check-In Offer: Student ID for 10% off! I was craving for some cold refreshing drinks so I dropped by here with my friend. I ordered the mango passion fruit green tea. I really like how they do not use syrup here. Everything is natural. I could taste the passion fruit pulp and seeds. My drink was refreshing and so good! My friend got the Okinawa milk tea, which uses roasted brown sugar compared to the regular milk tea. He liked the drink and it wasn’t overly sweet, which is great. Service here is friendly and they do let you have some samples. Parking is easy. Will definitely come here again to try their other drinks!

I have to admit that I was surprised at how much I enjoyed my drink at Sharetea. When the hyped moved from Norcal to Socal, I didn’t think much since I didn’t expect any place would have better boba than 626. But I guess it was about time they made their mark in the 626 area. I was looking for a place to catch up with a few friends, but FTB was closed on a Monday and Phoenix was about to close in 30 minutes. Nonetheless, I’m thankful Sharetea was our best option here. I ordered the Wintermelon with Milk($ 4.09). This was something I’ve never tried anywhere before, but I do love wintermelon already, so it couldn’t have gone wrong. It was a pleasant surprise to even see that option as not many boba/tea spots around have wintermelon. The drink was refreshing and gave a nice milky flavor with the milk. I would definitely come back just for this drink! The environment is clean and open, but it can get pretty packed here.
