I would imagine that this place is pretty clutch if you are looking to sneak something sweet into the movie theater, but other than for that convenience, this place leaves a lot to be desired. They offer a variety of different sweets from fudge and candied apples to gummy worms and ice cream sundaes but to be honest everything seems to sound better than it actually is. On this visit I decided to order an ice cream sundae. I was thinking hot fudge, sprinkles, and nuts but instead just got mediocre grocery store ice cream, generic whipped cream and cold chocolate syrup. To top it off they were out of spoons and eating the«sundae» with the sample«spoons» was such a mess.

Came in here to grab some ice cream before a movie… but the stupid guy was too busy talking on the phone to take my order… waited about 6 minutes and left

Great customer service with a kind workers behind the counter. The sweets all look delicious & having me wanting to go sugar overload. My favorite is getting the brownie sundae, the brownies are crispy on the corners while incredibly moist in the middle and having the choice of ice cream in the middle. FAVE& totally recommended. This is a cute chocolate store/café that I like to indulge into.

I have been in here a couple times before and this time I needed chocolate covered strawberries. I called in and the lady that helped me was very helpful and had the strawberries ready for me to pick up. Gotta appreciate old school service.

Visiting this store at different times on different days, I’ve been given wildly different quotes for the same item. Think some of the cashiers are taking advantage of the fact that most items’ prices aren’t displayed? I won’t be returning.

I never review things but this is now my favorite ice cream shop! I got the 3 scoop brownie sandwich sundae for $ 5.50 I was expecting to pay $ 12. It was delicious and enough to share. The employee was so nice. I told him it was my first time visiting and I wanted ice cream but not a shake. I was super impressed and can’t wait to go back!

Don’t be tempted by their sign. They have candied apples, but when we bought one(caramel) when we took it back to our hotel we found the apple to be soft and not fresh, which isn’t a good sign. I’m not sure how long the apple had been sitting in the case, but judging by the lack of crunch it’s been awhile. I didn’t try any of their chocolates, but I can say that the apple wasn’t fresh.

Bad attitude from the employees. Charged us $ 5 for coffee when it’s $ 1.50. Then gave us the wrong change and he was rude when we pointed it out to them.

Nice chocolate shop in alhambra. A good amount of original creations and they have other goodies too! Gonna try out a milkshake or one of their mixed drinks next time. Shoutouts to Mike, helped me out with the chocolate selection and helped me out with a box deal.

Checked out this place before me and my boyfriend headed to menchies because we love candy! I was really hoping they sold white chocolate Reese’s peanut butter cups… And THEYDO! I’ve been craving for some ever since I found out they existed! This place is kind of like sweet factory in the Santa Anita mall, but obviously a lot less cool, colorful and vibrant. Not as many candy selections as well too. They sell caramel apples here and a bunch of chocolates treats. I really like this place because it has a huge selection of white chocolate goodies. I don’t like eating milk or dark chocolate, but I’m in love with white chocolate. It’s so hard to find a place that has white chocolate of anything, especially in convenient stores & supermarkets like cvs, Ralph’s, Walgreens etc… Just come in and see the selection of sweets that they have, id say they have a good amount to satisfy your sweet tooth. Check in on Unilocal for 15%!!

Cute little chocolate and candy shop located in the same plaza as Edwards Regal Cinema and sandwiched in between Menchies and Johnny Rockets. Decided to drop in and get some truffles. I got one Dark Ganache and one Caramel Brownie truffle. Unilocal check-in and my total came out to $ 3.75(15% off). Without the check-in, it woulda been $ 4.25. Both truffles were soft on top and a bit hard on the bottom. I liked the Dark Ganache truffle better than the Caramel Brownie one. The ganache was smooth and creamy and the dark chocolate had a good amount of bitter cacao kick to it. The caramel brownie — would have liked if it had more caramel to it. I hardly tasted any caramel or saw any in it either. I tasted more brownie. Service was nice and friendly. Though the Indian guy, who helping me stopped and flirted with a teenage girl when she came into pay and so I was miffed that he stopped service when I was done and ready to pay. Overall, it was a nice to place to check out, but it can’t beat my Godiva.

This place is great and simple. The goodies sold are delicious and have an abundant variety for any taste bud. I purchased a dozen chocolate covered strawberries for $ 40+tax, a bit pricey in my opinion, although the strawberries were pretty big in size still probably not worth the price. Also got a hold of the chocolate covered oreos which were also very delicious and wish I would of bought more. Overall great goodies, a little pricey.

The cheesecake candy apple tastes sooooo good! It’s quite a sugar bomb, but the tartness of the green apple complements it well. I enjoy the candy apples! Ask them to cut it up for you.

2 stars. The only reason I went to Temptations was because I needed to buy something quick to take into AMC and didn’t want frozen yogurt or a big tub of popcorn. I got one of the Reese’s-peanut-covered apples($ 6.95) and a brownie slice($ 3). The apple tasted good but was nowhere near worth $ 7. And the brownie tasted horrible. It had a grainy texture and tasted worse than anything I’ve ever made at home. Everything else in the store seemed even more outrageously-priced than the apple and brownie I bought. The only thing good about the store was the customer service. Basically, I can’t see anyone ever walking out of here not feeling ripped off.

I’m all for supporting smaller local businesses but Temptations Chocolate Factory really fell a little short for me. Service is excellent but maybe that is because there is nobody in here at all? It’s a small candy shop and they actually have a lot of tasty looking goodies as well as some interesting but funny chocolate toys you can buy for you and your friends. The reason we came into this shop was because I had a sudden but intense craving for a caramel apple. They had a pretty good variety of caramel apples on display and we settled on the Snickers Apple. It was really pretty to look at and came drowned in both caramel and chocolate as well as cut up pieces of Snickers. But as we took our first bite of the apple, it was really made clear that the apple was not fresh. It was an old apple and it really didn’t taste all that great. It melted insanely fast too once we got it home. I’m not sure if I’ll ever come back to Temptations Chocolate Factory because the apple just didn’t live up to the way it looked. Had the apple been a little more fresh, the caramel apple would have been much more enjoyable and worth the money. For now, I’ll get my apple fix elsewhere. 2⁄5

Came by here last Sunday with my mother and husband to pick up some chocolate goodies to drop off at my husband’s work place for edible Christmas gifts(everyone loves chocolate!). I ended up purchasing about 20 chocolate truffles(cost $ 1.95 each, prior to tax). The service was kind of the slow side because after I told the girl behind the counter what items I wanted, she wrapped each truffle individually in a white paper(the same paper you would find in the bakery section at your local market that you would use to pick up a baked good from the bakery case). I didn’t personally get to taste any of the truffles(they were gifts after all), but according to my husband, the people loved it. By the way, this place is right next to the Edward’s theater.

After eating next door at Grill Em All(LOVE!), we decided to continue on with our overindulgence here at Temptations. As you can see in the pic I had submitted, we got the Reese’s candied apple, a peanut butter cup, a brownie and a s’more. I definitely loved the candied apple and how there were plenty to choose from. I also really liked the peanut butter cup and it was just sweet enough without being too overbearing. However, the brownie that was already saran-wrapped across the counter was just super dry and the s’more was a bit stale. That was so disappointing. I would come back, though, to try some other chocolate items, but I definitely won’t get any cookie or brownie any time soon!
