Best give them a call before you come — in my experience, their hours aren’t always as stated. PARKING Street parking available from both sides of the street. If you can’t find a parking spot, there is a parking lot nearby right across the street. INTERIOR/EXTERIOR Love to Go is a tiny café spot that offers coffee, tea, and dessert selections to satisfy your sweet tooth. There are about five tables inside — feels a little quaint and peaceful with the country music playing. It’s a great place to bring a date or a friend to talk and catch up. MENU They are most famous for their 3-dimensional latte art. Each cup of coffee is crafted beautifully — very creative and cute! I would definitely recommend the Matcha Earl Grey Latte. Delicious, and even better on a cold night. I’ve also tried their Strawberry Crispy Corners Waffles and it was perfect shared among three people. Most recently, we’ve had their Rocky Road and English Toffee Waffza(waffle + pizza, I would guess) which is one piece of waffle with your selected toppings. It came drizzled with hot chocolate, a scoop of ice cream, and a little bit of whip cream. While I enjoyed the crispiness of the waffle, overall, it was all too sweet towards the end. Don’t forget to check in for a free marshmallow! SERVICE The workers are very accommodating and nice. Our waffles are made fresh so it took about ten minutes for them to come out to us! Lastly, their prices are pretty steep for coffee and desserts. Their 3-dimensional latte art are about $ 12 for a small size drink and their waffza were about $ 7 each, but their lattes are fantastic and I guess once in awhile that’s okay.

Yay, I finally got to try out Love To Go(before $ 20.00 Groupon expires on Monday), and I love it!!! :) Usually, I’m not one to wait for a coffee joint to open up, and so sitting in my car while waiting for them to open up at 4pm(they didn’t open until 4:09pm), so it had better be worth it, especially with all the hype of a 3D character creation. Luckily, I had some cool, talking distractions with some Unilocalers about this place while waiting(thanks, Nadine, Lee, and Dana :) Once they opened, I was the first customer of the evening, yay! Cathy, the server and cashier took good care of me. They had some designs on the counter I could’ve picked if I didn’t have anything in mind. At first, I chosen a piggie, but requested a Doggie instead. Afterwards, I waited about 15mins for my drink to be made. Once my drink came out, Cathy brought over my Nutella Latte. Before drinking my $ 12.00(3D Creations are $ 12.00 — you can see other Unilocalers’ reviews and pics for pricing breakdowns) Nutella Latte, Cathy asked me what my name was, and she wrote«Kimmy», on there with red icing(same icing used on Chinese birthday cakes). O… M…G…I LOVEMYDESIGN!!! :D I thought I would’ve gotten one doggie, but they gave me a Mama Doggie and A Puppy, yay!!! :D It was super cute!!! *Squeals with delight!* The Nutella Latte itself was hot, delicious and not overly sweet — very comforting — think of a very smooth and creamy version of hot cocoa, yum!!! Cathy was also sweet in coming over and making sure my latte was to my satisfaction, awesome service!!! :) I also got a free Marshmallow Minion for Unilocal Check-in as well as another Marshmallow Minion for my Nutella Cheesecake to go. I also got a Tiramisu cake to go. Overall total with taxes was $ 26.00, and so I ended up paying $ 6 extra. The Marshmallow Minions are so super adorable. Even keeping them in the fridge two days later, the marshmellows still held up their textures nicely, and was still light and fluffy. I thought it would’ve been dried and gross, but yay, that didn’t happened. A very cute and clever idea! :) The Nutella Cheesecake was so smooth and creamy. I seriously thought it was gonna be overly sweet and heavy like Cheesecake Factory, but thank goodness it wasn’t! I also dig the Oreo crust underneath — soooooo goood!!! As for the Tiramisu, I finally ate it on the second day, and the coffee liquor on the bottom, didn’t dry up the cake, yay!!! The Tiramisu held its texture nicely as well. It was still wet and moist, and not overly sweet. The cocoa powder on top didn’t fly all over me even with the fan blowing, yay!!! Every bite I took, I felt like I was sitting at a lovely Italy café enjoying this dessert, Bellisimo!!! As for the shop itself — it’s a small place with about 4 to 5 tables inside. They even have a keyboard player next to the tables in case anyone wants to play or if they got musical guests. There’s also one table in front of the shop and they do have a patio outside, but you have to walk around to get there. By the counter, is a self serve station complete with napkins, utensils, condiments and plates. Overall, I dig this place! The drinks are pricey as heck, but if you get the right drink that’s delicious and to your liking, with right 3D creation that makes you squeal with delight, then it makes the price obsolete. I’ll definitely be coming back here for whenever I’m craving a 3D treat — both drinks and desserts. As long as you don’t break the bank, I definitely do recommend you come here to try it. Either you’ll like it, or can at least cross this off your coffee joint bucket list :)

As my hubby and I were walking through the San Gabriel Lunar New Year Festival, he noticed this small coffee house was one he had bookmarked on Unilocal.Since we’re not in this area very often, we took this timely opportunity to check out the 3-D foam art atop a salted caramel latte! We were greeted by a friendly barista who told us our order would take a while… no problem for us on this gorgeous Southern California day. I noticed a keyboard in the corner of the store and she said we were welcome to play it! The barista brought out our drink with a cute foam bear floating on a pool of coffee… and she even wrote my name on the bear’s belly. Worth the wait? Absolutely! In addition to the tasty latte, I loved the relaxing atmosphere. A perfect respite from the hustle-and-bustle of our busy lives!

Have you seen the Zootopia movie trailer with the sloths working a DMV office? That’s what this place feels like. It took 40 mins to make a cup of coffee and 1 hr 4 mins to make a waffle dessert. I know this place specializes in latte foam art, which takes time to make, but the thing is… I didn’t order art or anything fancy whatsoever. I’d have to wait even longer if I did! This place is really expensive and you’ll expire from old age before you get your order. Pass.

Their earl grey/matcha latte is SO good, and their tiramisu was one of the best that I’ve ever had. My boyf and I both agree. In the latte, you can taste both of the flavors and they blend really well together. The tiramisu is so moist and flavorful. However, we tried what they’re apparently famous for which is the waffaza and this was a total disappointment. It’s literally just waffle, ice cream, and whatever toppings you pick. We picked strawberries I believe. Anyways, SKIP this, it’s super mediocre and I always tell myself you can make this at home. It’s also pretty overpriced especially when compared to like Tea Brick’s pricing or any one of those tea places. There’s only like three tables inside, which makes it a quaint and cute place. But my boyf and I got it togo first because there was no seating, then when someone left we told the guy to change it for here. He was also nice, bc he brought out the drinks and desserts to us!

I got the Passion Fruit Yogurt Soda. Yogurt Sodas are supposed to be the signature items there. It was good, with not too sweet Italian style soda and Yogurt, but I just don’t think it’s my thing. My hubby loved his Green Tea Smoothie. He thinks it’s one of the best he’s tried, albeit, it’s pricey at $ 6. We also got the waffle. It came with ice cream, fruit, and chocolate. It was pretty good, but a bit on the soft side for my tastes. It came out faster than some waffle places I have been to in the past, which is good.

Not too bad, I tried the matcha earl grey latte and enjoyed it. The earl grey was a little more dominant in flavor. The 3D latte art costs 10 dollars extra! Pretty expensive, but I just wanted a picture haha. For my friends drink we didn’t pay anything extra but got a cartoon, so I’m unsure on how it works here. *Check in to get a free decorated marshmallow! It would usually cost 2.50 on its own

The hype is so real here and I’m a sucker for it. I’ve been here once before over 5 years ago for their 3-D foam art lattes. Recently, I found out that they made a Baymax one, so I felt inclined to come back and try it again. I was immediately turned off by the fact that their special characters for the 3-D foam art has increased its price to $ 10! Are you serious? There should be alcohol included for that pricetag. Luckily, I found a groupon for Love To Go and received $ 15 to spend for only $ 8.40(It’s actually $ 15 for $ 10, but I also found a 20% off code). If it wasn’t for the groupon, forget this place. So the boyfriend and I came here on a Friday night. We came right before the crowd, so we were able to grab a table and enjoy our drinks. I ordered one matcha green latte with Baymax 3-D foam art($ 10) and he ordered the caramel latte with 2-D art($ 5). I ended up still paying an extra $ 1.23 for tax and all. The drink itself is nothing extraordinary, but not bad either. To be honest, you’re really here for the foam art –nothing else. And I have to admit, the Baymax foam art was the cutest thing ever. I almost did not want to even drink it and ruin the art. Nonetheless, this place is expensive as hell and sort of worth my Instagram picture –never again tho.

Really cute and Intimate coffee shop. Latte art was undoubtedly impressive . However, I think they can improve the interior design by planting some ivy or change the wall color into cold greys.

I first came to this quaint coffee shop on New Years Eve. I was trying to satisfy my evening cup of coffee and all of my usual coffee shops were closed. I am so glad I did, I bought my usual cappuccino or so I thought it would be. Here’s a picture of the awesome treat I was served! Great coffee, creative and friendly service. Be patient and don’t come in a rush. They take their time with your order, in order to serve you a cup of «Love to go»

Ran into a situation where a gloomy chilly afternoon is calling for hot coffee. My friend recommended this place. It is a tiny little coffee shop, cozy and simple. No elaborate décor, only a few desserts in the display shelf. The first thing caught our eyes, was the marsh-minions. Someone with inordinate amount of creativity went ahead and made basic plain white marshmallow into charming characters with its own mystic. So cute I can’t bring myself to eat it. It costs $ 2.50 per marshmallow, which is a bit pricey. But good news for fellow Unilocalers, you can take one home with check in. We ordered a couple of flavored lattes, and a banana crisp corners. The waffles came out in a colossal volcano shaped dish, with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, sliced fresh bananas, and topped with Coco cereal. The waffle was hot and fluffy. The whole dish was a great combination of crunchy, refreshing, yummy goodness. The lattes had simple arts, wish they could be presented in glass mugs instead of to go paper cups. Coffee was average, not particularly remarkable. The famous 3D art costs additional $ 10 per drink. The table next to us got one and it is holy adorable. Just couldn’t stop picturing someone on a date proposed to have themselves some«Love to go».

One of the main reasons why we checked this place out was because I bought a Groupon which gave some discount or deal something similar to pay $ 10 and get $ 15 worth of credit. Seeing that we were going to be in the area for a Street Food Cinema event, we swung by to redeem the Groupon and try to get something cute and enjoyable. Upon arriving, we weren’t sure we were at the correct location. For starters, it was night time and we were pretty much in an old town area where street lighting seemed very minimal and the area seemed to be a bit janky area. Sure enough, the establishment was right there(kind of a hole in the wall) and we were fortunate enough to find a parking spot right outside their door. The selection of all their baked goods and treats looked very good and I just wanted to impulsively ask for one of everything behind the counter! However, after simmering down a bit, we decided on getting the Strawberry Crisp Ends and a Matcha flavored Latte with a 3D character floating on top(in our case, we got Baymax from Big Hero 6). The crisp ends were decent, nothing that blew me out of the water. I will say though that they do a great job in making it look beautiful and marvelous as if it was something you would get at a Michelin Star restaurant. If anything, I felt that the best thing about the crisp ends was the ice cream which was hidden underneath the waffles. Then there was the Matcha Latte… which again I thought was cute since they did the 3D cartoon on top well. Other than that, I wasn’t too much of a fan for it although my girlfriend seemed to enjoy it much more than I did. She was however saddened as the Baymax disappeared into just plain old froth as the drink was consumed. Overall, average desserts and drinks that are a bit overpriced in my opinion. I’d say come and check this place out if you happen to come across a Groupon or any other type of deal seen on the net.

Great small business, staff is super friendly. The girl helping us was so nice and helpful, she suggested some drinks for us. It is a bit pricey for the drink but the time it takes to make each drink is what you pay for. Again it is a small business so you have to take that into account. Both drinks she made for us were sooooo cute and yummy. We also got a waffle, which was hot and fresh w/creamy ice cream. NOTE: if you’re in a hurry, this is not the place. Quality over Quantity, each drink takes about 15 mins to make. So take a seat and relax!

I had quite an adventure here at Love to Go. Walked in and sat down in an empty room. Cute Asian lady who looked like my aunt was leaning over the counter on her phone she greeted me and we had a nice little conversation. Finding the restroom was fun. Had to walk two buildings over, just past the driveway, and used a key to get in. This room was living room like with couches and tables all around and restroom in the corner. Felt like I was using the toilet at home because it’s in such a home setting. Nice lady helped guided me at first because I got lost. My defense it was 10pm at night and it was a very quiet street. Located on mission next to factory tea bar. The place was quiet for a few hours so my friend and I got a few hours of interrupted study time. Drinks were delicious. They didn’t have almond milk tea on the menu but she was boss enough to create it for me. It was good. She also made a design for us too which was really cool. I didn’t personally try the wafza but my friend ate it all and she’s a picky eater. Probably will come back because it’s such a cute little place.

2D and 3D Art on a Latte?! Well. that’s why I came here! I wanted to taste, take a picture, and see the 3D Art on a Latte! They serve dessert such as ice cream, chocolate waffles, and Nutella sandwich, etc. Banana Nutella Sandwich. This place is small and casual. Make sure to check in to receive a cute chocolate covered Marsh-minion! :2D and 3D Art: If you want 3D Art on your Latte it’s $ 5.98, Latte included. They also have a list of their art work that you can choose from. Here is the break down based on their menu: ~Unique Simple: $ 4.48 ~Unique 2D: $ 5.48 ~Unique Message: $ 4.98 ~Unique Cartoon: $ 5.98 (Prices may have changed) :Drinks: I’ve tried the Flavor Latte Matcha Hot which has a bitter after taste. I tried the cold version, which I like better. My daughter got the Hot Chocolate which was good. :Dessert: ~The cute Chocolate covered Marsh-minion is basically a marshmallow that they dress up into a cute character. ~We got the Waffles with sliced strawberries and bananas. The waffles were warm and crispy. In the middle it had vanilla ice cream. It was topped with whip cream, coco flakes, powdered sugar and a side of Nutella. On top of the waffles were two Marsh-minions. It was good. I would get it again. :Customer Service: Friendly :Rating: From what I’ve tried, I would give 3 Stars. The 3D Art, 4 Stars but the price 2 Stars. Customer Service and ambience, 3 Stars. Would I come back? Cute but very small location near the San Gabriel Mission. There is enough room for maybe 4 – 5 small groups of two. Street parking in front. A couple of steps away from Factory Tea Bar. I pass by this place so many times when I come to FTB, but never found the right time to come in for some dessert and/or drinks. Once I brought a Groupon of theirs, the ticking time bomb known as the expiration date gave me a very good push and nudge to visit Love to Go. The Groupon was good for two simple-pattern lattes and two chocolate waffzas. Rocky road and English toffee was selected for the waffzas. Both waffzas were topped with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream. While sweet and slightly overwhelming because we had two waffzas, the only bad from the waffza was the whipped cream. I didn’t like it as much as the other parts of this dessert. 3.5 stars. Now the drinks were more customized to my liking. I saw from the pictures posted on Unilocal that they could do a Baymax 3D art for the latte. When I came in, I only had eyes for that. It was Baymax or nothing at all. 5 stars for the very cute art! For the second latte, we got a cute 3D sleepy cat with Love across the chest. The upgrade cost us $ 13.85 total. I ordered the matcha green tea latte and hazelnut espresso latte. Lattes aren’t really my thing, so the drinks tasted good, but not super wow. 3.5 stars for the drinks, extra ½ star for the art. I love how they have a box near the door that you can put your(clean) drink sleeve for reuse rather than tossing it in the trashcan. :]

A very cute small coffee shop in SG right down the street from factory tea bar! I’ve been wanting to come here to check out the 3D latte art and I finally got my chance. We got the pineapple yogurt Italian soda, the special of the day which was two waffles and ice cream, and a sea salt caramel latte with my requested 3D latte art of Baymax! The service is great, the guy was super accommodating and nice even though I’m a pretty picky customer(less sweet, whip cream on side, etc.) and he even agreed to draw my beloved baymax! I was so happy and excited :) so they do requests! There’s a lot of different arts to choose from too. The ambiance of the place is nice and cute but it is very small, if it were a full house I’d most likely feel claustrophobic. It reminds me a lot of café maji(wooden tables and chairs, very homey environment). Regarding the taste, everything was mediocre, and overall the price came out pretty expensive. For the 3 items the total came out to $ 23 and the waffle was on a special for $ 4.75.kinda shocking. 1) The Sea salt caramel latte was easy sugar but came out to be super salty, but the baymax was cute and they even personalize your latte art which is pretty cool. 2) Pineapple Italian yogurt soda was recommended to my boyfriend, he really liked it, it was actually yogurt at the bottom of the pineapple soda, not syrup like most places! Definitely pretty unique. If you like carbonated drinks, definitely worth a try. 3) the waffles were nothing special, literally just a waffle corner with powder sugar and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. That’s what it said but I’m not sure what I was actually expecting. Seemed like something you could make at home. The waffle itself was very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, they give a generous scoop of ice cream as well, but is it worth $ 4.75? Not really. I definitely want to come back and let the place redeem itself. Perhaps I just got the wrong things on the menu. The service was great so I would definitely be back to give it another shot, plus those waffza things look awesome.

Unilocal shows there are open from 4pm-1am but when we arrived on a Saturday at 8pm, they only have brownie sundae and waffles, the rest of the things on their menu is not available! We drove all the way to check this place out and didn’t managed to order what we wanted. Lucky the brownie dessert that we ordered saves the day! From 2.5 stars(before trying anything), I will give 3.5 stars(given the fact that I’ve not tried most of the item but only the brownie sundae). Will be back to update my review. Chocolate Brownie Sundae ~ Brownie is served warm, with the crispy chocolate flakes and ice cream, all goes pretty well. ~ However, would be better if they use better quality vanilla ice cream. Not a fan for the ice cream they use. ~ 7.5÷10 Earl Grey + Matcha Latte Green Tea ~ Pretty words on my green tea«Love is Beautiful». Took me a while before I bear to drink it. ~ Tea is very Japanese-inspired. I’m usually don’t like to drink tea with milk but the milk wasn’t too overpowering and goes well with earl grey surprisingly. ~ 8⁄10 Tips: ~ Place is very small with limited tables, not suitable for big groups

You can probably tell I’ve been coming here for a while based on the photos I’ve been posting but this place deserves 5 stars! I’d like to think we are regular customers(hopefully their fave, too! lol) because I think of the owner(s) as friends now and I totally support their business. The brother/sister team are so friendly and I like that they make suggestions just when I think I’ve tried almost everything they offer. Anyway, if you don’t want a waffle, definitely try their: 1. Warm brownie sundae — OMG it’s so good! The brownie is perfect each time along with vanilla ice cream on top and candied items(that remind me of Butterfinger) sprinkled on the side. 2. Cheesecake — Just try any one of them. My personal favorites are the Greek yogurt(which is light and airy) and also Oreo(if you’re craving something more sweet). They also offer Nutella and caramel, I believe, along with some other ones I just can’t remember right now. Also, I’ve read a few complaints about the following: 1. Price — Yeah, it is quite pricey but you get what you pay for. None of my drinks that I’ve ordered have tons of fillers; just the ingredients that really make the drink. If you made a drink yourself at home, it’ll be like what you get here; just something homemade. 2. Wait time for waffles — They make each batter from scratch for each order and it takes time for the waffles to come out the way they sell it to you. We have tried other waffle/dessert places and we always compare it to Love to Go… and simply put, it doesn’t quite compare, to be honest. It’s worth the wait for us or you can just call ahead. Overall, one of our favorite dessert places and we love that they’re open late. The owner did mention that they will extend their hours some time in the(possibly near) future so yay for us!
