Mmmm mmm mmm all I got to say. My favorite thing to eat here is sushi. Top picks is the 911 roll and the lion roll. I definitely recommend this place. The only downside is the wait if your starving order ahead it does take a while to get your food but totally worth it.

I love going to this place for my sushi fix, I always get the hungry man and a seaweed salad. Always great the only downside is that you have to wait at least 30 minutes or. Call in advance. But is worth it.

I recently discovered this place because it’s close to my job. It’s good, but not delicious. It’s good enough to satisfy my mid-day sushi craving. Nice mom & pop shop. I took other Unilocaler’s advice and I order 30 minutes prior to picking up. Also parking is terrible, but both times the sushi gods must’ve been looking out for me because I found parking right up front. lol

I love this sushi place!!! SO happy It is right by my house. This place is great if you want a sushi fix without having to go to a big sit down restaurant! Just like others have said the wait for the food can be a little long but I usually go when I’m not in a hurry so I don’t mind it. My favorite roll is the Spicy Albacore roll! SOGOOD! They also have great hand rolls!

The best sushi house in the area. Have been coming here since they first opened. Reasonable prices. The owner is always so gracious and great with kids. Food is always fresh. However, do order ahead If you’re in a rush.

Very good sushi! Buy from here at least 6 times a month. Conveniently located. Only bad thing is that their customer service skills are not so well. They are rude… if the food was no good I would never come here again. They need to work on their customer service skills.

Really delicious sushi at good prices! I would highly recommend the Washington and Dragon Roll, they’re my favorite. The waiting time for my orders are usually 15 – 30 minutes when I order take out. Great for take out, not sure about eating in. It gets busy inside too.

6 people in line to order on a Friday night and they’re all being ignored! Service is the absolute worst. The tiny restaurant is usually packed and still they are understaffed or they just don’t know how to run a business. Finally left because the line to order never moved and the owners never made it to the register except to take phone orders. The owners and other employees are running around the back like chickens with their heads cut off. Very disappointing that I never reached the counter to even have my order taken. Couldn’t take being ignored any longer and left

Found out about this place through here and gave it a try! I love how they have pick ups and is a sit down restaurant. At first I was scared to try their food since it was so cheap but I ended up loving it! Their bento meals are delicious as well as the quantity they give you. I also love their sushi and its all great quality for a great price. I will probably keep buying from here and ordering when I have an appetite for sushi! No wonder its so busy all the time

Holy crap if you order here then call ahead! Came here for the first time, I made the mistake of not really reading the reviews and noticing that everyone says to call ahead because the wait time is long… and boy is it. Came in and it was busy, made the order for take out, the guy said it was going to be awhile because of how busy it was. I didn’t mind waiting, but it took an hour for the food to be ready! An hour… a whole hour of waiting for food really sucks. But once I started eating and realized how delicious it was, so I slowly started to forgive them for the long ass wait. The food here is surprisingly good quality, it hits the spot if you want sushi but don’t want to pay and arm and a leg. Only thing I didn’t care for was the ramen, it was a bit bland. Other than that, I will definitely call ahead next time because the food is worth coming back for.

Defenately the place to go when I crave sushi, the teriyaki is ok kind of dry. But the sushi is the best I like the Vegas roll. Wait time is bad so I recommend ordering ahead also it can get busy and it might be hard to find seating once I had to eat in my car cz it was packed.

I’ve already been here twice. The owner(I’m guessing) took my calls both times and was very friendly. I ordered the shrimp tempura rolls and the Mexican rolls. He told me it would be 30 min, and had it ready for me when I got to the place. They were both delicious! The prices are so affordable and they give you a good portion of tools for a cheap price. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean. My new favorite sushi«to go» spot.

This is the best sushi in all of LA, been living in most areas by now and tried at least 50 different locations. But this place makes the 100% perfect crunchy spicy tuna rolls. So far everywhere I’ve been have had something minor wrong with the sushi. The crunch is perfect crust and not like many others deep crusts. Tuna is fresh and spicy. And the rice is juicy and tasty. One roll of crunchy spicy tuna is 8 big pieces and goes for $ 6.99 only! Which is half the price to my second favorite sushi place. I always order before coming in since it takes about 20 min for the food to be ready from order. Which is about 5 min longer than the average sushi, but if that’s what it takes to get the best then I rather wait those few more minutes. Also very friendly and welcoming staff. So what are you waiting for?

We first tried this place cause our neighbors ordered and brought the food over. The food was a hit, quality was on point, so on point that my wife wanted it again. So we figured why not get it for dinner tonight… Right off the bat, like other 1 to 2 star reviews mention, the lady who answered the phone was rude, and shouldn’t be answering phones. We asked for«Chicken Teriyaki bowl.» She replied with«what meat?»(In a rude manner) I guess she didn’t understand that Chicken was a meat, or just doesn’t comprehend orders when stated. At the end of placing an order, we asked«how much is the total?» She replied with«20 minutes!» Then we replied again«How much is the total?» She was rude again and said«20 minutes!» Yeah you shouldn’t be answering phones or taking orders if you don’t know how too. First time coming here in person, and will be the last. Cherry on top of the sundae, I found some foreign black particle in my Thai iced tea. Once spotted, I immediately threw it away. Such a shame, cause the food is decent, but service and quality would get 0 stars if possible.

Best sushi in the 818 without a doubt.(And I’ve been to many sushi places! It gets packed during rush hour so make sure you go with time(or call in an order, they’re used to that). The Best part? Most rolls are under $ 10. A shrimp tempura crunch roll is only $ 6.99 that’s incredible!

I’ve had teriyaki in countless places across Southern California and the U.S. I’ve had teriyaki in Japan and this has got to be by far the WORST teriyaki I’ve EVER had. The chicken was dry and over cooked. The teriyaki sauce was greasy and to make things worse it came out cold. I choked down most of this only because I paid for it was very hungry. I should have known not to come in here because their sign says they also sell smoothies. What kind of reputable Japanese restaurant also sells smoothies?!

Had a great time yesterday having dinner with my family and BF. This place is an order first, pay, sitting down where ever there are seats available and they bring you your food. With that being said the staff and owner were all still wonderful. The owner would come by to our table and greet us, ask us how we are doing and lastly he even gave my nephew&neice FREE chocolate mushroom cookies. Food was delish and I still can’t get enough of their jalapeño heart attack. Mmmmmm! This place is a must try! Orange chicken and California roll(my nephew n BF liked it) BSRC(my niece finished her plate fast) Baked Lobster roll(was good and could use a little more mayo) Big John(amazing!) Fire roll(one of my favorite rolls after heart attack) Baked salmon(was okay) Check this place out! You can eat there or order to go.
