Wow! Let me start by saying that they have changed the menu and added HEALTHIER options like: — Angus Beef(lean and tender) — Skinless Chicken(juicy) — Brown Rice — More Veggie options and Fried Rice if you don’t want white or brown rice. Overall my meal was fresh, healthy and tasty. Also, I found out that this is the only location that is offering the healthy items… So don’t go out thinking you are gonna get the same menu items at say the Canyon Country location, its the closest from this one. Nope they don’t have the same menu :( Service was GREAT!!! Viridiana was super sweet and knowledgeable 5 stars for her!

The food here is starting to get worst and worst. Grilled chicken is now like orange chicken and the add this purple garnish without asking and it tastes horrible. I used to eat here atleast once a week but no more.

It’s been years since I ate at Yoshinoya. I was not expecting too much from a fast food chain. The restaurant was clean and the original beef and teriyaki chicken combo was tasty for the price. The staff was nice and helpful.

This place always has bad service. I don’t think they understand the concept of fast food. It always takes more than 20 mins to get food whether you go inside or drive thru. They never understand what you want to order and their incompetent when it comes to overall customer service. Whatever system they have going on is clearly not working for them. I watched 4 girls ignore everyone in line to figure out the orders. Apparently everything was getting mixed up or missing

Horrible service. Drive thru wouldn’t have to wait more than 20 mins for my food. Won’t be coming back here soon. It’s too bad for them I give them a lot of business

It’s a chain so not much different from the other Yoshinoyas to satisfy your teriyaki addiction. Their dinning are is clean, spacious and well maintained. It also has a drive thru so I feel the wait times are a little longer than others since they have to appeal to both windows. Yoshinoya knows their stuff and this location is no different.

I’ve read all the reviews that comment on bad customer service, but when I got here our cashier was so sweet! We came in with some coupons and she gave us price comparisons on different meals so we could save as much money as we could! I always love Yoshinoya’s clam chowder! The Angus steak is also very good and worth the $ upgrade. The place itself is very clean and looks pretty new. No complaints!

The employees don’t understand English! I explained 5 times: 1 combo with beef & chicken 1 beef bowl 1 chicken bowl… Simple NOOOOOOO! Not for the drive thru person Abigail? Gabriel? What ever? My combo is a large chicken bowl!!! WTF!!! So disappointed dang people!!!

I’ve loved Yoshinoya since I was a kid. But through the years, their portions have shrunken and their recipe has suffered as well. It just doesn’t taste the same anymore. But that isn’t a reflection of this location, just my gripe in general for the restaurant. Drive-thru: seems like all the Filipinos of San Fernando work here. Which I find cute. I’m Filipino, so I’m not hating. Drive-thru can be a bit slow, even if its just one or two cars ahead of you. They try to push, «You want dessert? soda? more meat?» They ask for each item you order, so it will take a while. But the workers are very sweet and pleasant. Food: Large beef bowl combo with cheesecake and soda: the cheesecake is prepackaged. Which if fine by me, I like the creamy consistency. The beef bowl is always consistent. I’ve never had any problems. Large combo: I like that now you can request no skin. But I’m hardcore, give me the chicken skin! The veggies are cooked from frozen, so it’s nothing special. If you want chopsticks, soy sauce, chili powder, or ginger, you better be quick and clear about asking as you hand your payment or they will close that drive-thru window quick and you will sit there for a while until they come back. I’ve never veered from the two main dishes above. Perhaps one day I’ll try their noodles and other offerings.

You gotta love Yoshinoya. Prices like at all places seem to be going up lately, but that’s the name of the game. I always stick to the Combo Bowl and pile on a butt-load of ginger. All you see on my bowl is red usually.

Great service, terrible food. I had no idea an establishment could mess up the taste in a chicken bowl. I had heard horror stories about the taste of the food, but I still tried Yoshinoya for the first yesterday, and regret it. The chicken has this weird jello like skin, and the teriyaki sauce taste terrible. If you want a chicken bowl i suggest you stick to non franchise restaurants.

I came here and the service was really nice. I got my food in less than five minutes. They were all happy and smiling. Everything was good, just some tables weren’t really clean, even after they were wiped off…

$ 3.89 chicken bowls on Wednesdays I love Yoshinoya. Sure. It might not be real meat and it’s a bowl full of carbs, but boy does it taste good I’d stay away from the vegetables because they don’t taste good and I don’t think they are even good for you. This location has to be the cleanest Yoshinoya I’ve ever been to. Friendly cashiers and super fast food(…yea I know that they just scoop rice and plop meat and sauce on the top). But at least it comes out fast and hot. Keep up the good work Yoshinoya.

Hmm… cheap rice bowls and its not just the price that is cheap. Meat quality and freshness is questionable, rice overcooked and soggy, and yet, there’s still something about Yoshinoya that makes it comforting. Maybe some of us had it while being poor college students or that its hard to pass up a good deal — Panda Express would be the next best thing and its much pricer too. Skip the chicken, its dry and no matter how much sauce you ladle on it, its still no good. Go straight for the beef bowl. Extra sauce.

Mmm. Yoshinoya. I always get the beef bowl, and depending on how hungry I feel, I might get the large instead of the regular. It’s the best menu on the item and the only one I’d really recommend. I’ve tried their combo bowl once, because I’ve heard their chicken and vegetables are not that good. They’re right about that, the chicken is so so as are the vegetables. You can’t go wrong with the beef bowl though… the large is always so filling. You might think from the looks of it, that this must be healthier than other food places. Well, in terms of calories, you may be surprised to find out the regular beef bowl contains about 800 calories! The large is a whopping 1100! Still, the bowl by itself counts as about 1 ½ meals, so if you have a hunger craving and the other greasy junk around doesn’t look so good, I’d go for Yoshinoya. Oh, and this location is open until 2am and has a drive thru… yay!

tried the new Korean BBQ ribs(tastes good, but the meat was discolored — eew) + BBQ chicken Combo(garlic buttery flavor – yum): * not bad for $ 6, but not good enough for me to crave it. * Next time, Ill ask to substitute the chow mein and fried rice for regular white rice… OR I’ll just stick to the og Teriyaki Chicken or Beef bowl. PLUS, I won’t forget to bring my coupons next time! haha I was surprised to see the place clean, being that it’s located in San Fernando. The service was really good as well.

The food is nastly. Its like microwaved teriyaki bowls. I don’t know how the chain stays open.
