3rd time i come in this month and they always get my order wrong!!! How hard is it to make a spicy chicken sandwich ! Only once you guys got it right ! Today i ordered 2 spicy chicken and i get 2 regular chicken sandwiches. Its annoying because i was there for 15 minutes waiting for 2 small sandwiches. !! This place is the slowest CC in SD! You need to hire active people not the same slow workers. No offense but its frustrating.

Rating is more like a 3.5, so rounded up to 4. Grew up with Church’s Chicken. It may not be the best place, but they’re pretty darn good. You have the choice of either going drive thru, getting take out, or dining in. There are several tables to sit at inside and they have restrooms available, as well. There’s plenty of parking surrounding the building. The staff here isn’t always the greatest. Sometimes the customer service is slow or they’re behind on what items are available leaving you waiting several minutes for them to be ready(but, at least you know they’re freshly made!). Sometimes the staff gives attitude or assumes everyone speaks Spanish. But, sometimes they’re perfect. Just depends on the day. It’s a fast food place, so don’t expect anything fancy. They have a variety of items ranging from fried chicken(original or spicy), boneless wings, chicken strips, and sandwiches. Their chicken is usually nice and juicy. They also have several sides to choose from such as crinkle cut fries, mashed potatoes and gravy, mac & cheese, buttered corn on the cob, jalapeño cheese bombers, coleslaw, and fried okra… and apple pie for dessert. We’d say one of the best things about Church’s Chicken are their Honey Butter Glazed Biscuits. They’re probably the best biscuits available from a fast food chicken joint… if not ever. Those are definitely a must-try! Don’t leave without trying at least one… although you’ll probably end up wanting more.

Seriously slow service! This is the second time I come to this location and once I order they ask me to wait because the chicken is not ready and make me wait 20 minutes or so in the drive-thru lane. What is the purpouse of drive-thru then? Omg… Might as well just go in and cook it myself! Plus the girls are not friendly at all.

Just a friendly reminder for your store. If u have the cashier taking your money, i don’t think its right the cashier prepares your food after doing a transaction, Without washing hands. Luckily I’m not that delicate but i did notice.

TERRIBLE service, been here a couple of times recently and i am sad to say i will not be returning. 20 minutes of waiting in the drive thru for a 3 piece chicken combo is unnacceptable. They didnt even have the courtesy to let me know it was going to be that long of a wait on top of them not giving me the correct drink.

This is primarily because of the service. I go through the drive through to order a typical 10 piece family meal with sides and biscuits. I order an additional 3 biscuits and told it would be a 9 minute wait. No worries. I’m hungry and I’ve already paid. 15 minutes later the manager tells me the biscuits are ready but, it will be another 9 minutes for my chicken. It’s been over a half hour now and I’ve still to receive my order. Mind you that they have three employees sitting in the lobby and a lobby full of people. If I could call the owner.

If I am in the mood for fried chicken, church’s chicken will always be my go to! However, yesterday we order the 10 piece legs and thighs and all we got was 2 thighs and 8legs, my boyfriend was kinda disappointed.

Everytime I come to this Churches they ALWAYS get my order wrong. They probably get it right like 1 out of 5 times. I always have to check my food before leaving and I constantly have to go back into the restaurant and ask them to fix my order. Even when I emphasize and say«SPICY chicken sandwich. That is going to be a SPICY chicken sandwich ok.» They still get it wrong. The drinks all taste watered down. The staff sucks(the people who usually work during 3 – 7 pm) with the exception of only one or two employees. They are always messing around and laughing as they take people’s orders which I think is rude as hell. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I am sticking to KFC now. Fuck you del sol Churches.

Chicken is ok, but only for the first half of the day. If any of them are left over, you might as well throw them out because it is gummier than gummy bears. The taste of the chicken itself is lacking. I gave them 3 stars because Church’s has the ONLY biscuits that I have ever liked in my life… EVER. I hate biscuits and normally throw them out, but when we go to Church’s, we end up ordering extra because otherwise, there’s an arm wrestling match for the last one! I’ve also tried their corn nuggets, which are also just ok. I think I was really hungry at one point, so decided that I would surrender after staring at its picture, which was calling out to me through the drive thru. All in all, I’d get my chicken elsewhere, and make a special trip to Church’s for those rare moments that I’m calling out for a biscuit.

I am surprised this chain is still in existence. I guess there location helps as food options in this area are limited. There is a KFC close to the 805 but if you do not want to drive to far this place works. I like their chicken more than KFC. Every time I go here, the restaurant is almost always empty. The service can be hit or miss, it depends on who is working that shift. I can get in here, eat, and get back to work all within one hour. It is not open very late.

Horrible! They make you wait an exaggerated amount of time for everything and then when you get it its disgusting! The only thing I’d order from this place are the tenders.

Growing up loving eating church’s chicken, I figured that all church’s would be the same. But no, this church’s doesn’t have a place in my stomach. The times I’ve been here, the chicken tasted like it sat under the lamp for hours. Nothing tasted fresh and even for the spicy chicken which was covered in crispy skin and oily. Chuch’s has always been good to me, why not this one? :(

I was in a hurry and my time was limited, so I came here for lunch(all things considering… the place is a couple of blocks away from work) This CHURCH’s location is touch and go at times. They can be fast and there are times they can be really slow. I’ve experienced both when it came time for me to have a quick lunch. Which is why I’m giving this CHURCH’s CHICKEN only 3 Stars.

I grew up eating Church’s Chicken, so oddly enough, this is comfort food for me. There’s always different specials posted on the windows, and you can always find coupons in the mail. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the best deals. I’m not a fan of their fries. They’re too soggy. I am, however, a fan of the slaw and mashed potatoes. The corn is aight. too buttery! Once in a while, I’ll order some jalapeño poppers. Don’t bother asking for ketchup if you didn’t order fries… they started pulling tight! I love chicken with ketchup! If you like your chicken spicy, their Spicy does the job. I usually mix with the Original.
