West Side Coffee Room

Glad to have such a solid coffee shop on the westside. The owner, Newt, had great beans roasted in house. Went in with an order for the office, one mocha and two coffees. I had an espresso while I waited. The espresso was great and the other drinks were well received back at work. Definitely recommend and will return.

I would of never found this SA treasure if not for Juile and Sonia. I thank you both for making me aware of this hidden gem. I hope word spreads on Unilocal and this place becomes an overwhelming success. With the quality of product and the great service provided by Newt I see nothing to prevent that.
As Newt was making my iced coffee he provided some very cool and useful information on coffee, roasting and preparation techniques. Very good and useful information. I really enjoyed that nice extra that he took the time to provide.
The the coffee was fantastic. So delicious not bitter at all. Then I had a little heavy cream added to my ice coffee. Yes real heavy cream. So thick, rich and a wonderful touch. So much better than half and half.
Though small (it is a room **grin**). The atmosphere is so very homey and relaxing. A great place to chill and sip. With free wi-​fi you can Unilocal,work or play as you enjoy your coffee.
If you are ever in the area do yourself a favor and drop in.

Was told about this coffee shop by fellow Unilocaler Julie G., so one day while I was close by I decided to stop by and get some coffee. And I was glad I did.
Since moving to SA about 9 yrs ago, I had never really ventured out of my comfort zone, but going to the west side of SA was really cool. The coffee house is nestled in a quaint shopping center. It’s roughly about 300 sq ft. The owner is really nice and very passionate about coffee. I just though coffee was coffee. But after trying the cold brew, I realized that you don’t have to add cream and sugar to really good coffee. My partner in crime and I chatted with the owner for a while, and learned a few things about coffee.
Newt (the owner) is very personable and really loves his job. You don’t see that a lot these days. I broke down and ordered a Freddoccino, which is an iced coffee, but elevated to
a higher a level. WSCR uses all organic ingredients, and you can tell by the way it tastes.
I definitely will be back.

Great coffee. I prefer simple iced or hot coffee so you can keep it simple or try their other yummy drinks like the Iced Mocha with hazelnut. Yum!
