This place is not that great at all. I came here early one morning around 730am(usually when taco places have great fresh tacos). There was no line so I thought«great I’ll be right on my way». My order took almost 15 minutes in drive thru and all I ordered was two tacos and a lemonade, which by the way was $ 9!!! Then when I got to work I started eating the chorizo taco(which was huge!) but I notice towards the bottom is had weird fat looking pieces of meat, like they were just trying to add extra crap to make it look full. It literally looked like miniature chitterlings! I threw the taco away. Never going here again.

This is not a new spot for us. We are always coming for tacos or tortillas. Well tonight we got dinner. First off, it took us at least 15 minutes waiting for our food and then when I get home to eat… I find a crumpled up order ticket in my avocado. Gross.

This has to be one of the worst restaurants I have ever been too. Food is salty and lousy, service sucks! I will never go back.

I was staying at the La Quinta Hotel in San Antonio and noticed this authentic looking Tex-Mex restaurant that was in the same parking lot. It was around 10:00 in the evening and I wasn’t really hungry but in dire need of a frozen margarita since I had been on the road all day. I was warmly greeted by the server who quickly brought out chips and salsa and I ordered my margarita. The chips were a little stale, but it was pretty late in the evening so not sure if that had anything to do with them. The salsa was average to above and not quite as spicy as I prefer but had a nice taste and texture. The frozen margarita«with no salt» came out in a big fish bowl margarita mug. After 6 hours in the car, it was just what the doctor ordered and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Frosty cold with the perfect blend of lime, triple sec and tequila. I seriously considered another round, but it was getting late so went ahead and tabbed out. As I was leaving the restaurant the server shouted«hasta luego señor». I guess she appreciated the 5 dollar tip on a 7 dollar tab!

Only reason why I came here was because it was right across street from my hotel food was very good very impressed. The prices are OK the waiters and waitresses are very good they come back and check on you a lot would definitely recommend this place only reason why I gave it three stars was because it was very hot inside when I went but overall it was really good

4 person Fajitas bland and meat cut wrong. Service seemed to be bothered by our need for silverware.

They have okay food on the nachos they didn’t put beans it was like eating cheese and chips. Have ate before and service was ok. Called and tried ordering something to go and she was being very rude. She didn’t let me finish my order because she hanged up on me. Overall worst customer service.

Idk why they are so hit or miss. Sometimes the tacos are big and with mixed bacon, and other times they’re tiny with strip bacon that’s all fat.

Great service, alright food. I had the enchiladas and they were very bland. It is also loud and difficult to have a conversation with your table.

Ordered the carne guisada. It was cold-lukewarm and tasted borderline spoiled. As a Mexican, I know exactly what borderline spoiled carne guisada tastes like… it was definitely some leftover crap from a day or two ago. I am not a picky eater. That being said I sent it back and ordered chicken flautas. To say they were«middle of the road» would be a stretch. Very disappointed. The building is nice though… inside and out.

Awful — cold food — Mexican rice looked like it was days old. When I sent food back they threw plate in microwave. Then I had lukewarm old food. Never going here again.

Restaurant building is nice as well as décor. Very crowded and loud. Large choice of menu items. Unfortunately the waitress wasn’t the greatest — didn’t listen very well — maybe it was the noise? The chips were bland even when I added salt. The salsa was bland as well so that didn’t help the chips either. The kids did seem to like their kids meals so at least they were happy. I had the menudo and I’d give it a 3 out of 5 stars. I’ve had better but I’ve also had worse. The tortillas were pretty good. I may give this place another chance but not any time soon.

Salsa was tasty chips were sub par and no taste. Huevos Rancheros were some of the best I have had I a few months plus big plate and tortillas were big and homemade. Kids plates were well served and kids are it all. Kids lived the lemonade. Waitress was not attentive but they were busy. We will come back!!!

One of my most favorite places to eat in San Antonio. Not only is it great for take-out but dining is is also awesome. I love their home-cooked food and spicy salsa. The inside dining area is so cheery and festive and really makes for a nice date night. I absolutely love ordering their«street tacos», also commonly known as «Tacos Carne Asada» which come with 3 – 6(depends on how hANGRy you are) corn tortillas stuffed with steak, onions, cilantro and served with some of that wonderful green sauce(still have no idea what it’s called). Always ask for extra lime! It’s the perfect topper for«street tacos» and really makes the taco complete. My husband and I also love to get a double order of the chicken, beef and shrimp fajitas. They always come out piping hot, full of flavor and are extremely filling. We usually have enough for lunch tomorrow. The salsa has a bit of a kick and seriously, make sure you’ve got something nice and cold to drink after eating this. It is seriously hot, hot, hot and that’s just the way I like it. WILL be back EVERY weekend for some street tacos! Highly recommend.

I had carne asada tacos and Tripita tacos. They were prepared very well and pretty full! This always makes for a delicious taco experience. The salsa is a bit hot for my taste. But that’s a very minor complaint since salsa should be hot. Whatever haha I like hot food! But when it comes to salsa I’d rather have flavor than heat. Other than that, I’m satisfied with the prices! It’s a very good place. I only tried the drive thru so I wonder what it’s like inside.
