I never tried their snow cones or deep fried foods, so this is based off food from their taco stand/truck. I was told the tortas here were bigger and better, so I decided to stop by here for a druken late night torta. I got the al pastor torta and was wayy disappointed. True, the torta was bigger stuffed with more meat and avocado. It’s too bad that’s about all there is to it. The bread tasted stale, and the meat was more salt than flavor. Perhaps it is passable for post-drinking, but I would definitely not get it otherwise. In fact, with Erick’s Tacos right next door, I will probably never come back.

Coworkers and I were talking about carnival type food and someone mentioned Snow Flurries and More. I don’t think I would have ever known about this little place if not for that convo — or if I did it wouldn’t have been for a long, long time — because it’s totally out in Guam. After I saw the Unilocal reviews I knew it had to be worth the trip. I tried the Hawaiian burger which tasted like a typical burger save for the ham and pineapple in it. But burgers aren’t really what you come here for; you come for the deep fried desserts and snowcones! I got the Deep Fried Oreos The Works which comes with vanilla ice cream, strawberries, and strawberry glaze. It was frickin’ delish. I’ve had deep fried oreos at restaurants and if you’ve got some batter, oil, and a deep fryer you can pretty much deep fry anything, but none have tasted quite like this. I like their ratio of oreo to batter because it really makes it appear and taste deep fried thus reminiscent of being at a carnival. I wish I could say how the funnel cake was but I was too busy devouring my oreos that by the time I was done and wanted a taste of the funnel cake, my guy had already scarfed his down(a good sign because he’s not much of a sweets person). It is a very small but apparently popular eatery. We went there close to 9PM on a weekend with only a couple other customers present, but shortly after we received our food people started trickling in and the line stretched to at least six people(not including their company) all the way to the door. It felt extremely crowded but didn’t take away too much from the dining experience. While it’s not the smallest restaurant I’ve been to, it felt like it was because of the number of tables they crammed inside. I would say there are four tables in 18×8 feet of space that also includes the prep area. They do have outdoor seating as well. I took a picture of the snowcone flavors for if and when we go back because holy crapola there’s a bajillion to choose from. I didn’t get one because I was being enough of a heffer but the ones I saw made for other people looked sooo good. The family that runs this place was so sweet and told us to come back. I just wish this place was closer because I would be back so much sooner. Yes, I am one of those dorks that complains about going out of my way to eat somewhere. But if I happen to be even remotely close to this hood again I will definitely, definitely be back for Snow Flurries… and more!

Came across this place after a walk at Comanche Lookout Park & I’m so hooked. I love their aguas frescas(pineapple is my favorite), & their breakfast tacos served all day are really a great deal. Just recently I had their taco special including three breakfast tacos and a drink(lemonade only, I think?) for $ 2.50! Their chorizo and egg taco is really tasty. Snow Flurries serves Hawaiian burgers, deep fried twinkies and oreos, asada tacos, and various other plates and items. Oh, of course, they have smoothies and sno-cones, & to say they have plenty of flavors is an understatement! The service is a bit slow sometimes, so expect to wait a few minutes to get your drink, even if the restaurant is not crowded. Also, the inside of the restaurant would look so much better with a new fresh paint job and a few fix-ups. An electrical socket was popped out of the wall in the dining area, for instance. Truly a nice treat on the north side.

I love this place! They have a wide variety of snow cone flavors and specialty items. Very reasonable prices. I love the crazy cucumbers and crazy pickles here. They load them up with chamoy, salt and limon. Yummy! Must try this place!

Stopped by today and got snow cones and funnel cakes. Both were delicious and the people that worked there were very friendly. Will definitely be back.

They’re known for their Snow Cones but did you know they also have delicious deep fried Oreo and deep fried Twinkies? So delicious! Great place to come if you want sweets and they’re open late too! Btw, this place is small and cozy. It’s no fancy dancy place but it does have character.

I love their sno cones and the random food they sell. I got a funnel cake once and it was delicious. Their sno cone prices are a little steep compared to Louisiana but it is the only decent place to get a sno cone in San Antonio.

Came here after a late night out as Erick’s Tacos was closed and they were open right next door. The taco trailer over there says«Tacos El Regio» by the window, but this is very similar to Erick’s with the taco trailer, outdoor seating, and sweets servred from an indoor kitchen area. Glad I stopped. You have a choice of tacos(mini and regular), tostadas, or tortas. I ordered 4 mini tacos, 2 asada and 2 pastor. I was feeling a little adventurous so I also got an order of corn in a cup. The tacos come flat instead of rolled up in foil(just like the neighbors) with onions and cilantro piled high. Both the pastor and asada were very good and exceeded my expectations. The corn in a cup was very good as well and a little different than I have had elsewhere. Since it was so late, the indoor«sweets» kitchen was closed. I came expecting to be disappointed, but should’ve known better when I saw the GARGANTUAN banner that reads«BESTTACOSINTOWN»…I don’t know that I would say they’re the best, but they are damn good. Definitely some of the best in town. A really nice surprise, plus they get points for being open when Erick’s was closed.

Great business and great staff! First time here today and I was very impressed. The menu has something to satisfy almost anyone for a quick meal, plus deserts! I had 7 asada tacos and was still ready for more. I’ll be coming back, often.

This place is great and I love taking my daughters there on date nights. I have never seen it empty, and to me that’s any restaurants truest compliment. As for the person with the negative review– I have been there three times within past year twice I assume was the wife and the third I assume was the husband and each visit they were tremendously polite and offered conversation. Even more so would have been how polite there helper was who to each and every person served he was gracious. I enjoy going here, because although the person with the negative complaint was slightly right you can get a snocone many other places(although not on my side of town) what you cant get is there selection of fair type foods(fried oreos, twinkies, pickles) plus good hamburgers hot dogs and such. Granted I Know none of its the healthiest stuff how ever they do have amazing fruit cups. As i said I use it for special occasions to reward my kids with something cool, and not available out 281 N. For anyone who cant get good service here, I might say you brought the problem with you when you entered.
