San Antonio Family Physicians

In my search for a decent family practice as my primary physician, I found SA Family Physicians website. It was pretty darn good, so I decided to make an appointment; which was totally easy to do and I got in the same week — which was surprising to me because I’d called a few other doctors and they couldn’t even get me in for the same MONTH.
I arrived 30 minutes before my scheduled time. The facility is clean, and houses three different medical areas/​buildings. It seems to be a «All you need» type deal in one place, as well as many different medical centers/​doctors in one big area. The only issue I had really was that it seems the lady at the front desk just does too much for one person, and they should hire someone else (if they don’t already). She was answering phones (that never stopped ringing the entire time I was there), making new appointments, creating new patient worksheets, greeting everyone that came in and taking their information down, etc. It was just a lot of work, and really I felt bad for her.
Outside of that, my first appointment was delightful. They have one doctor on site, and two Practitioners which is who I saw. I really enjoyed talking to her, and she was very helpful and informative about my visit and needs.
They are open until 8PM, with their last appointment at 7PM 3 days out of the week. This was very important to me because I work til 6PM. They are also open every other weekend.
They were able to take my blood and urine all on sight and even do pap smears and OBGYN type deals there — super convenient! One stop shop!
I am super glad I found this place, and am very happy as well. If anyone else is looking for a primary care physician, I suggest calling these people up and making an appointment.
