Took my daughter to Dr. Clay-Flores because I had trouble finding a great pedi. After a bad accident in my childs mouth & fever kept getting worse I chose to leave. He kept saying it was a virus and it had to take its course… I took her to the dentist and it turned out she had an infection and NEEDED meds. She was miserable for such a long time… wasnt eating, sleeping, drinking… It could have been prevented if he took a better look. I chose to take my daughter to Helotes Pediatrics and have found the best Pediatric Doctor I have ever met. I will not be going back. All I ever heard is everything was viral and no meds were given… sorry but my daughter needs relief and I found it by leaving…

I really love my children’s pediatrician, Dr. Clay-Flores. They’ve been patients since about 2006. He’s very patient, caring and never in a rush. He’s very, very good with my kids and he’s also a very genuine person. No fake«hello’s» or anything like that. The ONLY reason I don’t give 5 stars is because of 2 things: the wait can be long staff turnover I’ve seen too many different staff in the office. As for the wait, well, that’s only because they ALWAYS squeeze me in at the last minute, so of course there will be a wait. And on occasion even when i do have a scheduled appt, there can be a bit of a wait. But, try them out. To some parents Dr. Clay-Flores can come across as very overly cautious. but i don’t mind because I’m kind of the same way. Very good pediatrician. keep up the good work doctor!
