The only reason i am giving this place a low rating is because of the customer service at the front desk. Dr. Allsup is a very good doctor and I recommend her. On most occasions when i call the front desk to have my prescription sent to a pharmacy I am told it will be done but in reality I will have to call at least 3 more days in a row before it is actually sent out which makes getting medication in a timely manner difficult.

Tending to my bump, I was a patient here for about 6 months. I would have stayed for the rest of my pregnancy, but I moved cities. Lets get started on the ugly: Horrible customer service from the receptionists. Horrible Receptionists Not so great lab techs(But she was friendly). She rolled my vein, and my arm was bruised for a solid week on 3 separate occasions. Dr. Akonye is the only good part about this office. She should get 5 stars herself. But her office staff is absolutely horrible. When I had the flu and had questions about which medications I could take, I didn’t get an answer for two days… Very frustrating and bad for my growing baby inside me! They seem understaffed and need some schooling on how to treat people who are paying for you’re services. You are on hold for at least 20 – 30 min trying to make an appointment. If Dr. Akonye had a better office staff it would be a much better office.

I’m torn between a 3 and 4 star. For Dr. Allsup… 4 stars. Great communication skills, very professional, and took plenty of time listening and answering questions. Being a nurse, sometimes other healthcare professionals may sometimes«blow you off» because we usually think we know it all. But Dr. Allsup listened to all my concerns and was very kind. I would recommend her to anyone. The office and office staff… 3 stars. The staff seems very unorganized. The office seemed hectic. The assistant called me back for my vitals and what not. But then she sent me back out to the waiting room. It was weird.
