Yum!!! Second time I’ve been here– once for breakfast, today for lunch. Great lunch specials. Got delicious mini tacos Asada and tea for $ 5.99. Salsa is excellent, so is the food & service. Will definitely be back!

This place used to be very very good! It was bought out and changed. Now it’s Tony’s. Rico’s had awesome salsa now it is not worth eating. The prices have gone up and taste have gone down. We were regular customers before. Tried talking with them on our LAST visit and they seemed to not care. The actually made a comment that«the people on this side of town don’t like it» not sure what«people on this side of town» means, but it really doesn’t matter. We won’t be going back.

Not impressed. The Asada was over cooked and the portion size very small for the cost. The tortillas were burnt on the enchiladas. Also I’ve never been to a mexican restaurant that does not serve margaritas. I won’t go back.

This place has great food. It’s now named Tony’s, but the food is pretty good. I usually only get tacos, but the music, atmosphere and location is pretty great. They have $ 5.99 lunch specials and it’s definitely worth a visit for $ 6 lunch!

By far, one of my favorite Mexican food places in northwest San Antonio! Staff is friendly. It’s not the cleanest but the food is delicious.

We have been eating there for several years, and average about two visits a week. Their daily specials are definitely worth the trip. Great service at reasonable prices. The carne guisada special on Fri is the best I’ve ever had and great chicken flautas are ordered every Tuesday. The two of us can eat the daily special with tea and fresh torts for $ 12.95. I’ve never had a bad meal or poor service. Good job, Rico’s!(They had a name change in mid Apr 15 from Rico’s to Tony’s. New owners, same cooks and wait staff)

The service was amazing and the food was great! I had the Chorizo and egg plate and my daughter had the nuggets and fries. Great! On a negative note though I have to point out the very tough T-bone steak and the lack of heat on the premises.

I thought my enchilada plate was A-OK. They use your traditional«San Antonio enchilada red» tortillas and the daily specials will only set you back by about 6 bucks, but don’t forget to tip them for their excellent service! Yesterday(Monday) their lunch specials were either 3 cheese enchi’s with rice, beans, and 2 home-made flour tortillas or a chile relleno plate. Iced tea(sweet/unsweet) is included, what a bargain! I walked in at about 1:40pm and walked out with a happy tummy by 2pm. I was in a time crunch so this worked out perfectly for me. It only took about 6 minutes from the time I placed my order to receive my food and the waitress/cashier was very pleasant and friendly. They are conveniently located and if I were in the area and having some Tex-Mex cravings, I would definitely go back. Pro-tips: There is a $ 5 minimum on credit card purchases and they also have a 25 cent upcharge for any to-go cups or plates. And don’t try their tostada/chalupa, it will fall apart on the first bite.
