Potbelly’s reminds me of college days. I went to a college town & that was the place to be. I went there after 8 years. The place has some good healthy menu now. The sandwiches are good & also toasted. The ambience Is pretty good too. Welcome to San Antonio.

I’ve had Potbelly Sandwiches in other cities, but this was my first time trying it here in San Antonio. This restaurant is right next to Tiago’s Cabo Grille at the Rim across from the movie theater. The parking is limited directly outside of the restaurant, however, you can also park in the movie theater parking lot. When we arrived for a late lunch there were a couple of families eating lunch out on the outdoor patio. The interior is very clean and has a lot of nice San Antonio related decorations and photos. My boyfriend ordered the Wreck sandwich and Broccoli Cheddar Soup and said both were very good. I ordered the Mediterranean Chicken on flatbread and the Classic Tomato soup. The soup was a bit spicy for my taste, and the sandwich had way too much hummus. Also, the artichoke hearts that they put on the sandwich are very large, I think it would be more appetizing if they were cut up smaller. On the plus side, their multigrain flatbread itself is very tasty and the hummus has a nice flavor. Our total including drinks was $ 25, so it definitely wasn’t the cheapest meal, but the ingredients wee quality and I’m glad that we tried this restaurant. Given our experience, I would definitely like to try this restaurant again.

I heard a lot of great thing about Potbelly so I was excited to finally try it out at the Rim. Unfortunately I wasn’t very impressed with the quality of the food or the service. I understand that they opened recently but the kitchen was very disorganized and couldn’t get our order correct at the counter. I tried the pizza sandwich without the mushrooms, it was maybe subway-level tasty. I don’t think the meat and sauces were distributed evenly throughout the sandwich, mostly just in the middle part(I’m being picky). As a side I had the Mac and cheese with bacon and red peppers, it was good(this is the part in the kitchen where they kept getting confused). The oatmeal chocolate chip cookies were delicious and fluffy with huge chunks of chocolate. I will definitely try this place again one they’ve settled in to this location better and review them again to see if they improve.

Great sandwich place that offers lots and lots of bacon. I had one of the sandwiches containing chicken and bacon and a side of Mac and cheese with added bacon. I must admit, I went alittle bacon crazy but it was really good! I’ll be back to try other sandwiches! I believe they offer shakes as well.

I was a little disappointed that Potbelly does not offer any type of kid’s meal at all. They suggested the small subs for kids. They also don’t offer any«combo» meals to add chips and a drink and mentioned everything is «a la carte». Between my two kids and myself, our meals came to over $ 30 with chips and drinks. Ouch! We could have eaten at a «sit down» restaurant(and have been waited on) for just about the same price. Don’t get me wrong, we love good subs and frequent Firehouse, Lenny’s, Jersey Mikes, etc. I was excited a new sub shop was in town and eager to try it. I’m thinking Potbelly caters more to the businessmen(no kids meals) and doesn’t qualify as family friendly to me. The subs were OK but not close to our favorites.

Bland and overpriced. We felt rushed in the line. It would of been quicker had we of seen the menu board.

First visit. Unimpressed. A little overpriced compared to other sandwich places in town. Guy at counter said if this is our first time it will be «life changing». Not so. Not a lot of variety and what sandwich shop doesn’t have vinegar??? Mac and cheese very bland. I’ll stay a fan of Jersey Mike’s!!!

Stopped for a late lunch with my better half today. Never been here. Ordered a chicken cheddar sandwich and a cup of mac & cheese with bacon on it. I am pretty sure I could eat their Mac & Cheese every day!!! It was hot, fresh & delicious. They get deducted a star for the cleanliness. Many tables were not picked up. I do like the low key atmosphere and that they have a patio. We will definitely be eating here again! The guy even hollowed the bread out of my sandwich so I wouldn’t get so full. Nice of him to offer.

I love this place. They’re consistently good, and the concept would fit more a thundercloud subs than a subway with everything being fresh and actually good. I love the options they give you with the menu, and their custom Mac and cheese is so good! I usually get the grilled chicken and cheddar with a pickle and avocado, but they have something for almost everyone, and their shakes(served with a tiny cookie on the straw) are pretty great too.

This little sandwich shop at the Rim provides some decent sandwiches, soup at a reasonable price. Wish they had a little better choice on what to add, but sandwiches are hot. and quite good. A nice place to grab a bite after a movie at the palladium.

First timer and I really enjoyed the wreck and Italian. Now if they can get mac and cheese order correctly I would appreciate it, but it was creamy and cheesy that I totally forgot what I wanted in my mac. Bacon and mushroom combo mac ain’t bad at all.

My husband and I both had the Wreck sandwiches and they were delicious, having a nice selection of meats and the spicy peppers gave it a nice lil’ kick. The bread was warm and perfectly soft on the inside while having a delightfully crispy crust! We also sampled the Mac n Cheese with bacon, the Broccoli Cheese soup and a couple of deserts. We were not disappointed by any of these and will definitely be coming back for more!

I’m giving this place 4 stars only because in general I like Potbelly Sandwich Shop. But really for this past visit my sandwich was ok, around 3 stars. I got the italian which had pepperoni and meatballs, but somehow it only had like ½ of a meatball total. It was a little bit odd. But it was still pretty tasty. My hubby got the«Wreck» which ended up being awful because when he asked for mustard they smothered it… and he only ate half of it and couldn’t even stomach anymore. This is a negative review but they really do have some delicious sandwiches — hopefully next visit will be more on par!

This was my second meal at a Potbelly Restaurant and the sandwich was prepared very well. I thought paying $ 1.20 for a bag of mini Sunchips was ridiculously expensive and the drink was similarly priced. I suppose that’s the price of eating out these days(total meal was $ 10.71).

Great Place, Great Service!!! Wanted to place a small personal catering order and didn’t have access to a fax machine. When up to the store a few minutes before it opened and Shannon met me at the door to take my written order of 7 boxed meals. She was wonderful in reviewing it with me. She made sure it was all ready to go when I came to pick it up without waiting. The sandwiches and sides were a huge hit with the group I got them for with generous servings for all! Thank you Shannon and your store team for taking great care of me!

So excited to see a new quick restaurant option at The Rim! We grabbed lunch here on a Friday which was busy but not too crowded. The interior is a little small but there are several tables on the patio, weather permitting. Although this is primarily a sandwich shop, there are a variety of options including salads, soup, chili, and mac n cheese. The sandwiches are toasted and served warm. The bread is fresh and has a great flavor. I tried the grilled chicken and cheddar sandwich on this visit. The original size is probably equivalent to a six inch sandwich. The chicken was a thicker carved style versus your typical deli meat and the cheddar cheese really stood out on this sandwich. I see many more visits to Potbelly in my future!

So happy this location opened up! We ordered a wreck and a chicken salad salad, both were delicious! Pricing was on point and well worth the quality of the food and the portions. Even adding a drink and chips kept me around $ 15. I do wish they offered child portions. My daughter ate off my salad and enjoyed it, but their regular sandwich would’ve been too much for her.

My sandwich was awesome! Recommend the Italian with hot peppers and spices. Their oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are amazing! The parking is bad so don’t go on a movie night. I’ve always loved this place. If you get the sandwich«flat» it will come on a special flatbread and be less calories. Good luck!

Sandwiches for me need a great bread, and this place has got it. Crispy outside with a soft middle = excellent. the original is a perfect size ~7 inches, they also have a bigs size thats 9 – 10 inches with fresh veggies. Zapps chips to boot, can’t go wrong and I will be back!
