This is the closest Popeyes to my house and in my experience the service is always friendly and efficient, and the food is good! Whenever I come here the restaurant is always clean and welcoming looking. You can’t go wrong with the fried chicken or tenders, and the biscuits are delicious and buttery! My favorite sides are the cajun fries and mashed potatoes. Is this authentic Louisiana style food? Perhaps not, but it sure hits the spot! I wish they had unsweet tea, but other than I don’t have any complaints.

As soon as I arrived home and looked at my food i felt like i was scammed. The chicken was dry and small the wrong drink the red beans n rice is what i always remeber popeyes by and it was bad. This overall experience will probably keep me from going back.

Pleasantly surprised by a mostly clean restaurant, expedient service and tasty grub. The place wasn’t too busy around noon on a Friday, maybe because of the holiday. My shrimp Po boy was delicious and so were the seasoned fries, the latter not being quite as hot as I would’ve liked them. Either way, both were great. I like the dining room décor, with several big jars displaying common spices and ingredients in what some might consider a typical Louisiana kitchen. There’s a television on mute while the overhead radio plays redundant zydeco and other bayou-flavored music. I guess that’s an establishment standard for Popeye’s, they’re really keeping with their theme. Basically, it gets the job done, and there isn’t a whole lot to complain about. I’m honestly surprised there haven’t been more reviews since it seems this Popeye’s has been here for more than two years. Either way, give it a shot if you’re in the mood for some good, institutionalized Louisiana cooking at decent prices.
